Property was exactly as advertised and host made everything so easy for us. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again. It was our first time renting with VRBO.

we had a wonderful time at this cabin. cute comfy to stay in. beautiful view of lake Michigan . we love riding our bikes all around and to gills rock to shop and eat at there great restaurant up there. would love to stay again some day.

The property owner was very communicative and friendly. We were drawn to the property by the lakefront access and it did not disappoint. There were kayaks for guest to use so we spent the afternoon kayaking and hanging out by the pier. For the price, it was really a great deal. We also loved that the property felt secluded but was a short drive to the Sister Bay action. I highly recommend this property if you are looking to connect with nature and still have access to all the fun things Sister Bay has to offer.

Wonderful place on the water, everything was great!

The VRBO cottage was very nice. Everything was as advertised. Beautiful waterfront property, very private location for a very comfortable stay. Ellison Bay 5 minute drive, Sister Bay 12 minute drive to many things to do if you do not want to relax by the outside fire pit with friends. Property manager went above and beyond.

From the check in process to the check out process, Jen was amazing! The place was beautiful and the view magnificent!! We spent most of our days hiking the local state parks and spent the evenings cooking and having a few by the fire. What a great place to stay!!

Door County continues to be a great place to explore. The cottage on Garret Bay was a super place to end the day. We saw spectacular waves from the comfort of our front windows.

We rented this property for a girls weekend. It has 5 beds, so we all had our own place to sleep. It was the perfect spot with a beautiful view. The bird feeder drew all kinds of interesting birds. It was very clean and we loved the wood burning fireplace. We would definitely come back! The owner has great communication and shared tons of good recommendations which we really appreciated!

The house was perfect for our quiet fall getaway. The pups loved the beach and outdoor fire pit. It’s in a quiet part of Door County with easy access to all the sights. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Would happily stay here again!

Well equipped kitchen! Nice bathrooms! I have to say the place was not clean and had a terrible musty odor when we arrived. After we got a fire going the smoke covered up that odor and probably dried the place out! Beautiful view of the lake! I felt like the price was very high for the condition of the property!

This cottage sits in a beautiful location. The bay was very peaceful and beautiful ~ we had many days where it was smooth as glass and one very windy day that brought the waves rolling in and crashing on the beach. I'm glad we experienced the setting in both ways - it was truly amazing. The cottage was well-equipped and had everything that we needed. Enjoyed the kayaks too. The location is perfect for day tripping around the peninsula and enjoying all that it has to offer. Thanks for an enjoyable stay!

Great get away

The property was great. It had everything we needed in the cabin for my friend and I to enjoy our vacation. It also had great ways to enjoy the lake from inside the cabin, the patio, a deck and the dock.

Another great stay at the Fleetwing! This is my second time staying here and I hope to stay again next year. There are so many good things to say about this cottage. First, I love the general location (northern Door County). I was here the week after Labor Day, so it was quiet and peaceful. I also love how close the cottage is to the water. There are many options for exploring nearby natural areas of Door County, and I am very happy that I was able to bring my dog. This year the weather cooperated so I was able to take advantage of the kayaks that are available. And I finally saw the shipwreck that is just off the shore. The Fleetwing is a quaint beach cottage with lots of charm. The modern bathrooms are much appreciated, as are the new floors in the kitchen area and the new stove (both of which were put in this past year I think). Internet access can be a challenge at the cottage. Cell coverage was almost nil (not unexpected), and the WiFi provided was unreliable while I was there (sometimes is was ok, other times I couldn't connect or it was slow). If I could, I’d give this property a 4.5 star rating, or just a tad under 5 stars. There are a few improvements that could be made (new locks, refrigerator, carpet). But overall, it’s a lovely place to stay. The hosts are great, and I love the fact that they have a long time connection to Door County.

This property is private with a beautiful view! Easy access to the main roads and towns. Jen is very helpful and responded quickly to our questions. Mary Ann shared interesting history information about the area. We would definitely stay here again.

Cottage is right on the water. Beds are comfortable, well stocked kitchen. Water pump by back bedroom noisy but you get used to it after a while. Bathrooms clean and updated. Would absolutely stay again!

This is my second stay at one of Jen's properties and it did not disappoint! Super location on the quiet, northern end of Door County. The cottage is literally steps from the beach, which makes this property really special. The weather was cool and super windy during my stay, so watching the waves every day was an event in itself. The pier was pulled out for the season, but I didn't need it since there is a nice wood deck/patio that sits right at the beach. There is also a nice stone patio with picnic table and other chairs right off the back (or is it front?) door for enjoying the water. Wish I could have enjoyed the outside fire pit, but it was too windy. A quiet location is high on my list of "must haves" when I go to Door County, and this cottage filled my need. It's set off the road a bit, which is really nice. There are other cottages close by, but it still feels quite private. The only reason I didn't give Fleetwing 5 stars is that the cottage is showing its age a bit, and a few things could use updating (stove, refrigerator, door locks, for example). But the bathrooms were clean and updated, which ranks high on my list. :-) Overall, it's a very nice property in a great location with a great water view. I'm very happy with my stay, and I hope to stay again. Jen is a great host, and her properties are always the first I check for availability!

We loved the property, location (quiet and peaceful) and proximity to the water (literally steps away). The one thing we all agreed on was: living room furniture in need of updating…both for age and comfort.
