Great house on the canal and wonderful host. House was clean, beds were comfy, and we were overall happy with everything. Would love to stay here again!

My parents wanted to take my family (myself, husband, son (almost 9), and 2 daughters (3 1/2 and 1 1/2)) on a beach trip. My oldest daughter has been begging to go to the beach since the winter and my son has recently become obsessed with fishing. This house provided the absolute perfect location for both activities. You can tell that there was a lot of thought put into every aspect of the property. As a mom of littles, I appreciated all of the gates at the entrances to the stairs as it made for one less thing to worry about. Peter was easy to communicate with and was super flexible with us with checkout. HIGHLY recommend!

The only disappointing thing was the weekend wasn't long enough to fully enjoy the house. Will have to stay a lot longer next time. Nice house with everything you can think of to have an enjoyable stay.

Peter was a great host! The house is recently remodeled and looked like it was professionally decorated. The attention to detail was remarkable. Everything about the house is comfortable yet modern. The location was perfect - you can enjoy the sunset and the sunrise. The dock was super fun with the lights, bluetooth speakers, and outdoor television. The neighbors welcomed us as if we were locals. The kayaks were an added bonus, as I usually have to rent them. We could have stayed all summer!

This property is incredible. Right on the canal with a boat slip, which I used and felt my boat was very safe. My family came down from Dallas for Easter, so I booked this place for us all and it was absolutely perfect. Below the house is a great setup with a bar, Bluetooth speakers, large flatscreen TV,bathroom, grill, kayaks, etc. All of the bases are covered here. The inside of the house is also freshly renovated and is very clean and comfy. There is also an extra lot for parking next to the house which was very useful, especially for the boat trailer. Peter was a great host who provided us with everything we needed and then some. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone, and hope to stay here again soon.

We had a wonderful weekend spending time with our children and relaxing. A perfect get away to relax and unwind from the busy pace and stress that most families deal with daily. This house is great! Kayaks were fun enjoyed getting in the water! House had everything you could think about needing. It was nice coming home from vacation with no laundry. You will NOT be disappointed if you book this house. ❤️

My son (13) and I rented this house for a long weekend. It exceeded my expectations. Very clean and no detail overlooked. We enjoyed the kayaks and brought some paddle boards which we enjoyed as well. Awesome location for water sports and hanging out at the house. We watched a movie on the TV outside on the deck and it was the perfect temp with the constant breeze. I enjoyed the swing and watching the sunset. Rented a golf cart from Rick’s beach rentals which the home owner suggested and that was money well spent. My son enjoyed seeing the fish at night with the underwater lights the house has. The house was even better than pictured. The master bed was very comfortable and the master bathroom had a lovely large updated shower. I am bookmarking this property for future use. Overall wonderful weekend!

The entire process renting this property was so smooth. The location is amazing, the views are gorgeous, and there is so much to do. The house itself is so incredible. We went with my brother and sister in law and brought our boys and they had the time of their lives. Kayaking, fishing off the dock, enjoying the downstairs bar/grilling area, horseshoes, and golf cart rides to the pool and beach made this trip one we will never forget. And we most definitely will be rebooking for our next family vacation! Thank you Peter and Janet for all your hospitality!

This property was very fun to stay at. It comes with a boat slip and kayaks . I didn’t have my boat with me this time but will be coming back with my boat next time. Kitchen is stocked with all utensils needed to cook for your family. Peter is a nice guy that is there for you if you have any questions about his property . We will be booking again soon

Great house and location. House was super clean and neat with all amenities and was perfect for our family. The owner and manager were very kind, accommodating, and quick to respond to any questions and concerns we had. We all enjoyed fishing and crabbing from the house. The kids enjoyed kayaking and the easy access to the community pool and the beach. Definitely would book again for any future Jamaica Beach vacation.

Really enjoyed the views as this house does not have neighbors on one side so you can see the bay view. Bar area was great as well.

We rented the house for a family getaway and loved it. Great spot. Not too far down on the west end. Easily get to seawall if need anything. Loved the view of the sunsets. House had everything we needed. The kayaks kept the kids entertained for hours. Checking in was super easy and they even gave us a very late checkout at no extra charge. I would definitely rent this place again

Me and my family had a wonderful holiday weekend. The house was close to the beach, very clean and plenty of room for us. We would definitely recommend.

Everything was amazing. The house was stunning. The neighborhood was quiet. Lots of towels provided, including beach towels! There’s dirty clothes baskets in each room. The master shower was immaculate. Kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, utensils, plates, cups, etc. We loved the Roku accessibility with Netflix. We didn’t bring any gaming systems for the kiddos, but they managed without the in that room. The downstairs area was so inviting as well. My son really enjoyed the canoe, and they all had a blast swimming right by the house. There’s a crab trap by the ladder! We didn’t see it til our last night there, but the kids enjoyed pulling it up! All in all it was absolutely amazing. And we’d definitely stay again!!

Everything about the home was perfect all the amenities we needed for a short stay home was very comfortable and in a great location near the park and boat ramp. This hone also provided a empty lot to accommodate truck and boat that we brought down. Overall we couldn’t have asked for a better stay just wish we had better weather to go with it

Our family of 5 enjoyed our 4 night stay at Tahiti Sunset. The Vrbo listing and pictures very accurately represented the property. The horseshoes, kayaks and extra lot next door were a huge factor in our decision and greatly enhanced our stay. We were pleasantly surprised with the close and easy drive up beach access. There were ample bath/hand/wash and beach towels as well as multiple sets of sheets for each room all seemingly new and coordinated. The sheets were high quality and all other bedding in great condition as well. The place had a very clean well kept look and very organized! We had a couple families over 2 different nights for burgers on the grill. There is so much useable outdoor space! There was a slight plumbing issue with disposal which was revealed to us upon check in and checked on by previous owner (Clay) just a few hours later. Slight inconvenience with no disposal but completely understandable with the demands of local plumbers after the great Texas freeze of 2021. Amy was very welcoming and a phone call away if we needed anything. The extra refrigerator in the outdoor bar area was great for keeping water and kids drinks. We spent 2 days at the beach. Being able to drive the car onto the beach less than 1 mile away and park was awesome! We had a very nice time and would highly recommend the property. Again, kayaks, canal and extra green space were huge for us!
