The house was perfect for our stay in St. Marys. The house was clean and well-stocked with what you need to prepare meals. Communication with the host was easy and quick.

This house is very beautiful, the decor, and the layout was so inviting. Having 2 full bath was a plus, the beds are comfortable. When we go back to GA. we will be looking to see if this place is available. We had a great time and the location was close to everyone with in 5 mins.

Wonderful location. Easy access to neighboring communities and attractions. My only issue was not having direct access from inside the home to the back yard (for taking my pet outside). Once we followed the front door paved path leading to the side entry gate it was ok. The backyard was huge and allowed plenty of room for her to run and play fetch. Property was 'very pet friendly', I would not hesitate to again stay at Buoy O Buoy!

Drove down for a College of Coastal GA graduation and the location was perfect for us. The house is very clean and check-in was easy. Hoping to stay again soon.

I was there to visit my youngest son, a Marine stationed at Kings Bay. The house was perfectly placed near the base and convenient to lots of things to do. The house was clean and very comfortable. The beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The kitchen was well appointed with absolutely everything we needed to cook and have great family time. Any questions I had were promptly taken care of by the host. We definitely will stay there again. Thank you for helping make our trip amazing.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The house was equipped with everything needed and more than many rentals (soap, paper towels, toilet paper, kitchen supplies, etc). The location was in a quiet neighborhood yet close to shopping, restaurants and tourist spots in Georgia as well as Florida. The highlights of our trip were Jekyl Island, Okefenokee Swamp and Amelia Island all were day trips from the rental. I would highly recommend this rental and the area. Thanks, we had a great time and loved being able to bring our dog.

The house was fantastic with the fenced and backyard and the playset. The kids loved the animal themed room! The bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, living room were fantastic. The location was great. It's a mile and a half from the downtown area. And only about a half mile walk to a fantastic little bakery.

My family and I stayed for a long weekend and this home well exceeded our expectations! It was very clean, very cozy, but the smiles on the kids faces was the best part. Everything was perfect all the way down to the stuffed animals on the kids beds. We decided last minute to stay an extra day and Jeff and Su were very accommodating and super easy to work with. The property was so nice it helped us decide to make a yearly trip, we will book again!

The house had everything you can ask for. When we arrived there was coffee in the cabinet, water in the fridge and fudge on the counter. The manager checked up on us by email a des times during our stay. We felt like home. The only thing negativ for us was the livingroom furniere. Couch way to soft and chairs to hard. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The house was very clean and well organized. The location is extremely convenient to downtown st. Marys if going to Cumberland island. Access to other barrier islands was pretty convenient and we went to several other islands such as Amelia, Talbot, and Jekyll all in about a 45 minutes drive. There are nice restaurants in downtown st. Marys and a convenient grocery, gas, and pharmacy close to the house, yet the house is on a quiet street. House also works well if bringing a dog due to yard and grass if your dog doesn’t like sand like ours doesn’t!

Quaint little house but beds in back rooms are uncomfortable. The mattress on beds need to be replaced with better quality. The mattress cover in full size bed was stained and old. Wish I had pull back the sheets first. Master room ventilation is not good. It was not getting heated. Had to set temperature at 77 for some heat to get the chill to a comfortable temperature.No back door to get to the backyard

Overall very pleased with this visit. We had 5 adults so we knew from the pics that the third bedroom twin/kid beds would be a little challenging. My wife was little concerned from vrbo pics that area was not that great, but it was fine, very quiet, and quick access by car to everything in town. The large riverside park, 5 minute drive, was gorgeous and perfect meeting and play place for everyone including grandkids.

Being locals this place was perfect for our needs as we made an OCONUS transition. Main bedroom, was comfortable with a desk for remote working. Nice gathering space from kitchen to living room. Accommodated a family of four well, in additional to backyard space for friends and family to say goodbye. Host was welcoming, very responsive, and accommodating.

We were all very happy with the house. It's very cozy and cute. It had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. The location is very convenient to everything and in a nice neighborhood and has a nice fenced back yard.The hosts, Jeff and Su are amazing. They got back to me ASAP with any inquiries I had. I would definitely rent again.

This was our first trip to Saint Mary's. My husband & I plus our fur baby thoroughly enjoyed our first-time stay at this house. As other reviewers have mentioned, it is very clean, has a large fenced in backyard, and looks to be recently renovated. Whoever renovated the master bed/bath did an exceptional job & put a lot of thought into the design of it. We like that the house isn't very "cluttered" so that we can spread out & have places to put our stuff. It is a split floor plan with master bedroom & bath away from the other 2 bedrooms and additional bathroom which is how we prefer our sleeping space. Bedrooms, closets, & bathrooms are all spacious. The kitchen, dining room, & living areas offered plenty of space for us & our dog, and I think it would be large enough for additional people, too. We were very pleased at the location. The house is in a quiet residential neighborhood yet very close to downtown shops, restaurants, children's playground & the Cumberland ferry and marina, just a few minutes drive away. Also, there are extensive sidewalks & outdoor areas for walking your dog right across the street from the house and just down the road, as well as a nearby State Park with trails (about a 10 minute drive). If we ever return to this area, which we hope to do, we will definitely rent here again. The owners thought of everything in my opinion, even providing a drawer of new toothbrushes just in case. Lastly, we appreciate owners who rent to dog lovers!!!

This house is in a perfect location to explore St. Mary's and Cumberland Island. The hosts were very attentive and the house was very nice. I would definitely recommend this rental.

First I'm so glad my husband and I found this quiet little jewel. It's just off the beaten path but it was perfect for our needs. The owners were very nice and super helpful with all our questions. I loved the theme of the home and the attention to detail. The home was clean and very well equipped with almost anything you would need to make a delicious down home meal. Upon arrival one look in the cabinet and we found two kinds of coffee along with creamer and sugar! We spoke with the owner before we decided to book and they were nice enough to let us bring both our dogs. Thank you so much Jeff! My dogs are my fur kids and they go where ever I go! The beds were super comfy and the wifi was great. Back yard includes a swing and firepit. Only thing I could have wished for is a wee bit more lighting for the back yard. It's a very short drive to the beach and the town of Saint Mary's is a lovely historical place. I give Buoy-O-Buoy a full 5 stars!!! Thanks so much for a great time... Hope to be back real soon. Highly recommend!

This home is just perfect for a week-long get away. It is very nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The owner was so helpful in recommending eating establishments and things to do in the area. My only suggestion would be to have some outside lighting in the backyard to make it easier to see the dogs when they need to go out after dark. Definitely 5-stars!!!!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Buoy o’ Buoy! Jeff and Su are amazing hosts who have put a lot of thought into making this property feel like home. We were out for much of our 3 day stay, but I actually wish we had more down time to just hang at the house. The biggest pro for me was cleanliness. Being a bit of a germaphobe, I was really happy with how clean the entire house was. The location is very convenient, only a couple minutes from the downtown area of St. Marys, and about a 5-10 minute drive to grocery stores. We particularly enjoyed Spouse’s bakery which is only a minute up the road. Jeff and Su were great about checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. We really felt comfortable at the house and would highly recommend staying here to anyone! Thanks, Jeff and Su!
