This house was in the perfect spot just maybe 5-10mins from the main strip of town was peaceful and quite had everything we needed would definitely stay again

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The house was clean, beautifully decorated and in the perfect relaxing location but still close to town. We would highly recommend.

Perfect property for a large group!

While the property has two rentals, we felt very cozy and enjoyed our stay and proximity to Fredericksburg and all the local State Parks. In your description you should mention the fabulous fire pit. We took a chance and brought wood and we were so glad we did!

Our family enjoyed a few Days at The Rock House and loved it. The property is so close to Main Street but still offers that quiet, country experience! No complaints, no problems. Danielle was kind and responsive and very easy to work with. Highly recommend!

The Rock House Hideway was a great choice for our family Christmas getaway. The house was clean and well cared for. Lots of seating and room for everyone. Our only issue was a broken dishwasher. It would have been nice If we had been told so wr could have brought paper goods rather than wash dishes.

We love the Rockhouse Hideway and the property owners are so awesome and readily available to help if you need anything. This house does not disappoint big and it has everything you need and a lot of sleeping space. When you stay make a reservation to go visit the Velvet Lounge you WILL NOT want to leave that place. We will make yearly trip and we will always stay at the Rockhouse Hideaway or The Tankhouse which is on the same property.

My family and I threw a suprise birthday weekend for my mother and this house was perfect. It was so close to everything we wanted to do and had plenty of room for all 12 of us ladies. We had a great weekend.

My family enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property! The house is roomy and comfortable. There is a large back area with picnic tables and plenty of room for everyone to gather. The house is on a large plot of land so you have a lot of privacy and space but it is only a few minutes from wineries and downtown. Danielle is a gracious host and always responded quickly. You won’t regret staying here when you visit Fredericksburg and need plenty of room!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property. We rented both the house and the small adjoining tankhouse both times. My group was 9 people and we were very comfortable for the four day stay. Both houses are very well appointed, very clean and very easy to locate. VRBO states Check in is at 3 pm. The manager texted me and stated it was 4 pm. Not a big deal but after a 4 hr drive to Fredericksburg we had to wait an hour to access the property. I would like the manager to consider offering the adjoining barn, used as an event space including a large fire pit and big screen TV , for a reduced charge to people who rent both houses. During our stay, the barn was locked seemed like it was used as a storage facility for spill over couches and tables. We were part of a larger group of several families staying throughout the town. It would’ve been fun to gather around the beautiful fire pit after dinner and live music in town. That being said, the entire property is quintessential hill country and cozy. The owners have gone a great job restoring and furnishing the property. I would definitely rent this property again .

We stayed here with family when we were in town for our grandparents celebration of life. The house was perfect for our three families to stay and for all the cousins to spend time together.

We loved our stay at the Rock house! Sitting on the front porch watching the kids play was my favorite! Secluded, but still very close to Main Street. It was perfect! We had an issue with the a/c and Danielle, the owner, came right away and had a guy there to fix it within 20 minutes, at 9:30pm! We hope to be back again one day!

Very relaxing spot away from the crowds but only 2 minutes from town. Beautiful historic stone house, very comfortable. Clean on check-in. Great spot for family getaway.

Loved the layout of the home. We went to the Peach Jamboree with family and kids. Loved the layout of the home. Upstairs has a room with a king bed, a room with a queen bed, and then the Bunk room (3 queen beds). DOwnstairs has a lovely living area, kitchen, dining. Then attached to that is the "guest house" which has (1) a small entry way, (2) a large master bed room, (3) a large master bathroom, and then (4) a smaller closet sized room with a full bed that is only accessible through the master bedroom and bathroom. The only caveat was that there was an oversight on the bedding/sheets on one of the queen beds but the house other than that - absoutely great stay! kids loved it, we loved it!

We had a group of women share the space for the weekend and it was very nice to have room to spread out and relax for the weekend.

The house was everything we could have asked for, loved the Hill Country Vibe and it was close to everything. There were 12 of us and we all fit comfortably.

Family rented for long weekend. Sparkling clean and had everything we needed.

Given how the weather was during the weekend we were there. We had a great time and Danielle was quick to respond to any of my questions.

Great property, very authentic "Hill county home". Beautifully decorated and furnished with all needed amenities. Management was amazing! There was an issue beyond their control and they handled it better than expected. Only regret was not staying longer. We will definitely return.

This house comfortably slept 14 people and we have nothing bad to say about it! There was lots of room to hangout, and plenty of room for all of us to get ready! Danielle was a great host and the house was perfect!

The host was awesome and very accommodating. The house was great with lots of space. Only downside to our stay was no outdoor grill, but the host explained it was for insurance reasons due to be a historic structure. Would highly recommend for a large group or large family. Lots of room outside as well for the kids to run and play.

This place is very nice, and located in the perfect place. Not too close to town, and not too far from town. Very nice house with everything you need! We will definitely be returning soon!

We had such a great trip to Fredericksburg for a bachelorette party!! The house was so big and fit our group perfectly! The property was very secluded from town, which we loved!
