Great spot, good host.

This was a great property, had all the amenities we need itad well as day to day supplies and more.

We had such a beautiful couple of days staying riverside. So gorgeous to sit out on the deck first thing and gently watch the world go by. A really excellent start to our Cali vacation. The very spacious house had everything we needed and Dawn was super helpful with the booking and all our enquiries.

Great property. Very spacious and has a convenient location. Had a great time enjoying the access to the water and enjoying some water activities.

We visited the area for a three night stay-cation. The property was perfect for our needs although too big for just the two of us. Easily sleeps (8) with a spacious living area. Very close to numerous restaurants and other activities. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Really enjoyed having our morning coffee each morning on the master bedroom patio watching the paddle boarders. Would recommend for sure.

My family and I had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. It was spotless and well appointed. We will definitely consider coming back again!

This property is well worth it! Great location - close to some nice restaurants and other sites. Close to the beach (we walked every morning for the sunrise), and great out of the way from the city, with quick access!

Travel from Seattle to visit college kids and scope out the neighborhoods for future investment. Loved the home and neighborhood. Used the kayaks and rented an electric boat. Nice dinners out. Great walks on the beach. Nice stay!

Very nice property with large deck for morning coffee and evening drinks. Loved the wet bar room. We played cards and watched the boats go by in there every night. Great kitchen.

We had a great stay, the property was great & well kept. Had everything you could need. It was quiet and the views were gorgeous! The outdoor area was perfect! Lovely place to stay with family/kids.

The house was very comfortable for my family of 8. We especially enjoyed our own private dock right on the water. The location on the water was ideal for paddle boarding and kayaking. We enjoyed our stay abs would do it again!

Visit was great and the place was very spacious. The amenities were good and better than some of reviews mentioned. We used paddle boards but would have liked to use canoes. Looked to be off limits so we stayed away. Neighbors however offered theirs! Brought fishing poles and enjoyed catching a couple!

Had a great time at this property. Location is awesome. We stayed at another rental in this same community and definitely prefer this site. There enough activity occurring in the water behind the house to keep things interesting but not enough to make it too busy. Boats, paddle boarders, kayak would pass by every so often. Neighbors are friendly. It’s quite relaxing looking out the window. Property is close to the beach, restaurants and stores. House is well supplied. The fridge is empty and clean which I appreciate. I personally don’t like having half used condiments and such from past guest. Kitchen has good quality, clean cooking supplies. They have both a kurig and a drip option for coffee. Even the bbq has two options with gas and charcoal. The garage has some beach supplies, beach chair, paddle board and boogie boards which are all nice perks. The host provided enough towels for showers and even has a few beach towels out. Only complaint is their internet. The connection was poor and dropped often. Was difficult to work with it and couldn’t really stream movies or tv from it without it dropping.

Very nice and cozy house right on the water in Oxnard. A five minute walk to the beach or Hollywood Beach retail and restaurants. Very clean, quiet and well laid out. Really enjoyed the stay and I wish I could stay longer.

Great location next to the main channel but off the side just enough!!! The paddling through quiet channels/neighborhoods was super fun but even better was the proximity to paddle to the park for live concerts and to the restaurants for food and drinks. Bike riding was great along the beach. Diane and Dawn the property managers were very nice and helpful!!!! We will definitely go there again.

It was a quiet neighborhood and very relaxing just sitting out on the deck. Just a short walk to the beach and a little grocery mart. There were a couple of places to eat within walking as well, but we didn’t think they were all that good. We had our groceries delivered by Instacart and ate at the house most of the time. Having the propane grill was great. The house was cozy and spacious! Plenty of room for the 5 of us. The kitchen had all the basics, but no extras really, like baggies, extra garbage bags, extra paper towels, etc. It wasn’t as well stocked as some of the other places we’ve stayed, but it still was good. There was no beach toys of any kind, no beach chairs, coolers, boogie boards, etc. obviously we couldn’t pack all that stuff on the plane and ended up driving all around town to purchase those items. We spent well over $150 and had to leave it all there. Being so close to the beach it would be nice if the house had beach towels at least. Our teenagers enjoyed laying out on the dock, but it was hot and uncomfortable without beach towels. The bedrooms were large and fairly comfy. There is no bathtub here, just showers, which was fine for us. Also no air conditioning. It was on the warmer side and a bit stuffy, so we ended up asking for fans to sleep at night , which were brought over right away. The service was good in that regard. I didn’t really think someone needed to meet us there though and no contact entry would have been preferred. The area was just okay, not a lot to do though. The beach was clean, family friendly and not that crowded. We really just spent our time there and at the house. We would have loved access to the kayaks or even a fishing pole to use off the dock. We did go to Ventura Pier one day and the chapel on Main Street (which was awesome), we are and shopped there as well.. it’s about a 15 min drive. Overall it was a charming house and a pleasant stay.

Had a great experience at the Channel Islands house. Fully equipped kitchen and home with fantastic deck and view of the harbor. Would definitely consider going back.

Perfect place to stay for a long weekend. The home is exactly as described and our Host responded to questions about the rental right away. All the neighbors are nice. The walk to the beach was an easy 5 to 10 min. I was inspired to walk 6 miles along the beach and back at the house took a nap on the patio! I will be looking forward to the next time. Thank you for making my first Vrbo experience a good one.
