We were three couples celebrating our wedding anniversaries, so we were looking for a special place to stay. Kainani Villa #5 was perfect for our group. The villa was spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. All three bedrooms had en-suite bathrooms with plenty of towels, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Likewise, the kitchen was well-stocked, clean, and very nice. We frequently used both the indoor and outdoor spaces which had more than enough lounging spots for the six of us. The setting was beautiful with a nice ocean view. The location was close to numerous restaurants, shopping, and beaches. It was easy to get to other areas of the island as well. The property management company was professional from start to finish and continually kept us updated via email. They also have a concierge service that assisted us in booking activities and provided dining and sightseeing recommendations. The entire process went smoothly and everyone who we worked with were friendly and helpful. There is ongoing construction directly adjacent to the villa that we were made aware of prior to booking. A few mornings were quite loud, but it did not ruin our stay in the least. By the time we returned to the villa in the afternoon, everything was quiet and peaceful. We highly recommend this villa and its management group. We would definitely book a return stay at this beautiful property.

The listing does not do the property justice. This is a beuatiful home and I did not see a similar sized property anywhere on the Island that I would rather have ahd. I compare the master bedroom to the One & Only Hotel in Cape Town with an outdoor shower like a Singita safari lodge (I have been to 12 of them). There was indeed construction next door which I was aware of but it did not impact our stay. One time they turned on music (a "boom box") but a quick call to security ended that. I am not in the construction industry but the project is moving fast. There were other renters in another unit playing music but they went to bed around 11pm. We had very minor maintenance issues that were immediately resolved by management. The only thing that was not resolved was the garage door opener but I am sure that is fixed now. We hiked Waimea Canyon, Na’pali Coast Trail and had many nice meals at Beach House, Eating House 1849, Brennecke’s, & Keoki’s Paradise x 2. Best poke bowl of my life at Koloa Fish Market. Some of us did did four 100 ft dives with a local scuba operator. We rented a minivan for all six of us and a Nissan Sentra for the kids so we did not have to share a car. I will for sure stay here again!

We have been fortunate to visit to Kauai multiple times, and this was our favorite place to stay yet. Everything was ready, clean, comfortable, felt welcoming and very nice, plus we had ample basic supplies like paper goods, towels, and pots and pans, etc that made the stay feel relaxed and convenient. The location was excellent, easy to find and an easy distance to the beach, shops, and restaurants. We would stay in the exact unit again on our next visit!

The beaches were a short drive away and very convenient to get to from the property. Nearby shopping center for groceries and supplies for our weeklong stay. Close to lots of restaurants as well by the beach. Enjoyed a glorious sunset dinner at the Beach House as well as nice panoramic views of the ocean dining outside.An adequate number of toiletries, towels, robes, and kitchen supplies along with coffee were provided. The only complaint is that we requested bedding for the sofa bed which they promised to drop off that did not make it. Otherwise, everything else was great. Also, having the beach chairs with the umbrella was well appreciated for our trips to the beach.

The property was perfection. Very well designed with a comfortable, but elegant, tropical inspiration. The villa was very roomy for a three bedroom, and had a stunning view! Opening the large glass sliders lends to a much larger great space where you can enjoy the lanai & the small plunge pool. The kitchen had high end appliances and everything you could need if choosing to cook in while vacationing. It was a perfect location for a family of four. We look forward to staying here again!!!

We really enjoyed our time at this property. It has great proximity to many beaches and shopping centers. The property is very clean and seems recently built. We would stay there again and recommended to anyone coming to stay. The sliding glass doors were gorgeous, and we had a great view of the ocean and sunset. They had Sonos speakers that you could play music from in every room. The outdoor shower was awesome. The front door automatically locks so watch out for that. A few small minor changes: -The water temperature did not get very hot -The washing machine had a mold smell -The pool was a little cold -!

Gorgeous, well-maintained, and very comfortable property with a beautiful kitchen and outdoor area, where we spent most of our time. The floor to ceiling window/walls are the highlight of the property, as is the outdoor shower. There was construction next door (which we were aware of, and management had offered us alternative properties if we wanted), but it didn't end up being very bothersome as we were out most of the day, and the noise was fairly minimal. The workers were also friendly. Concierge assonance with booking activities was also helpful and a plus. Overall, really happy with our stay.

We loved our weeklong stay at this villa. It was such a convenient location to Poipu Beach and we took advantage of it. Loved how clean the house was and it had everything we needed from the get go. House also came with an umbrella and beach chairs so we were prepared. Highly recommend and would definitely return for another family vacation!

We really enjoyed this place. Good location. It was very clean and the outside area was terrific. There was some construction next door with some fencing that obstructed part of the view, but it wasn’t bad. We would book this place again.

Beautiful in every way. Brand spanking new and first class. Luxurious primary suite. Comfy beds. Every bedroom is an ensuite. Kitchen is gourmet all the way with Meile appliances. Covered outdoor dining with Wolf grill was the bomb! No heat or jets available in the spa pool, which was disappointing.

This property did not disappoint. It is as amazing as it looks in the pictures and better. Since the upstairs owner was not not there for our entire visit we were able to enjoy the property and is was very quite and private. We used the plunge pool every day, what a luxury. We enjoyed sunsets every evening. Yes, there is construction going on every weekday from 630am to about 4 or 5pm and it.was a bit of a bummer. But with all the growth in paradise that the price you pay. We enjoyed our stay and didn’t want to leave.

We are kukuiula regulars and have been visiting for over 10 years. The grounds of kukuiula and the surrounding area are off the charts gorgeous.

This condo and property couldn’t have been more spectacular! The home and tropical yard are absolutely beautiful. It has a distant view of the ocean and is located in a quiet neighborhood with nice walking paths. This will not disappoint!

Perfection in Poipu was exactly that!! The accommodations were lovely and comfortable. We enjoyed spending time out and about the island as well relaxing at the house, slash pool and lanai. We will absolutely make this our destination the next time we visit Kauai.

The condo is lovely, with modern and high end appliances and finishes. The grounds were immaculate, and the area was in close proximity to everything we needed. It was a lovely space for our friend group to enjoy our vacation, and act as our base of operations for all of our wonderful island adventures. We did have a couple of maint issues, that just come with the territory, but the management staff were extremely quick to respond, and immediately sent out very professional and friendly (they gave use some really good local recommendations too) staff to remedy the issues. We would absolutely stay with here again, and highly recommend Wailani Kauai.

Yet noise of hammering, loud construction vehicle sounds, protracted penetrating reverse beeping of those vehicles, as well as construction worker’s loud conversations were disruptive every day, except the weekends. The noise was heard both outside the patio areas as well as inside, preventing us from finding the quite solace we expected at this “luxury property” on our precious vacation time. Disappointment is an understatement. Plus your office promised a compensation discount should there be any chance of disruption, of which you did not provide.

This property spoiled us entirely! Top notch finishes, luxurious linens, and beautiful ocean views! The unit is on the bottom floor of a bungalow with a private pool. If you are looking for privacy with a single house feel, this is the place for you. The location is close to the airport and shopping but far enough away to truly experience Kauai’s beauty. The property is beautifully maintained with full-sized laundry and kitchen and upscale beach chairs and cooler for beach outings, only a short 5-minute drive away. Access to the property manager was a simple phone call. We felt welcomed from the moment we stepped in!

We highly recommend Kailani Villa 5 for your family and vacation. Everything about this booking was first class. All of the communications have been friendly and pleasant and full of information and help. The villa itself is of a very high standard of furnishings, decoration and cleanliness. In our experience the owners also paid attention to the small details that can catch travelers out on a short trip such as beach towels, chairs, an umbrella and cool box for the beach, and then ice already in the freezer! The views are wonderful, facing right into the settling sun, and the patio is nicely shielded from the trade winds. It was a lovely trip, thank you.

We had a great stay. The property is very well kept and with all the modern appliances. Great location, and awesome floor plan. Awesome hospitality - very responsive and courteous. They addressed the questions promptly. Having the beach chairs and umbrella was very helpful. Would surely recommend this property to everyone.

My family and I have stayed at various Vrbo rentals for as long as I can remember, and this house was HANDS DOWN, the most spectacular one yet. I cannot recommend it more fully; the house itself was gorgeous and spotless, it was accessible to town and the beach, and the management company was a pleasure to work with. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!
