Super villa with lovely bedrooms and comfy beds. The pool was large and clean. We really enjoyed our 1 week stay and we would recommend to other.

Beautiful accommodations and lovely hosts. The beds were comfortable and there were lots of private common areas for us to enjoy including the back patio and pool area.

- Nice, large swimming pool that we could enjoy in the privacy of our family. You don't have to bring your own inflatable mattresses and toys. It is all there. - The rooms are spacious and the showers (2) pleasant. - The mattress (especially in the master bedroom) is heavenly. - The rooms have a lot of natural light and can be darkened well during the night. - The kitchen is well equipped (a different one than on the pictures, but already upgraded :-)) - Excellent wifi. TV in both living area and master bedroom; Netflix. - Nice hammock for naps under a shady tree - The region is very nice to explore

We booked last minute due to circumstances and were full of expectations because of the favourable reviews and the higher price range. Unfortunately, these were not quite met. We have stayed in many holiday homes, but this is not a 'villa'., rather a spacious appartment. It is located right next to the owner's home (with literally a door in between), so we also heard the newborn baby crying. Every sympathy for small children, but when you pay so much for peace and quiet, it's not always so nice. - The black plastic garden furniture can hardly be used during the day because, despite the umbrella and any towels to put in it, it gets very hot; it is not the 'loungie' furniture that is shown on the photos. - You can constantly hear the sound of the motorway, which is apparently not that far away. - There is more than enough space to sit by the pool but an entire wicker garden bench is in a poor state, which gives a very unattended impression and is certainly unacceptable given the rental price of the property. - The smell in the room where one of our children slept: the cause turned out to be a large patch of mould under a loose window sill. - It would be better if the owner cut the grass when the guests are not there. - You can hear the footsteps of the residents above the bedrooms, which also takes away from the feeling of privacy and the concept that it is a 'villa'. - Charming, old closet in the master bedroom, but to be replaced: it smells so bad (mothballs?) that you can't keep your clothes in it. - You cannot sit comfortably with 4 people on the couch and watch TV; the living area is rather small. I suspect the owners will say that we should have raised these points during our stay, but we had our reasons for not doing so: we didn't want to stir up any arguments and decided to enjoy the nice things, which there certainly were.

Le Bon Ami is one of those hidden gems that make you want to return to time & time again. Cameron & Paris have thought of everything and offer a special holiday accommodation that far exceeded our expectation. The house is very well appointed with three good sized bedrooms, the master is huge with en-suite bathroom and extremely large and comfortable bed. The location is good for exploring the Bordeaux region with some excellent restaurants as recommended by the hosts. When not exploring this beautiful part of France the swimming pool is fantastic. I would definitely recommend Le Bon Ami.

Very clean, comfortable and high spec house. Cameron and Paris are also very welcoming, provided so many nice tips for our visits around the area. Highly recommended! A warm and relaxing experience!!!

The host Paris and Cameron where absolutely the best in all our travels! The apartment is so comfortable and you want for nothing. And if you do the host make it happen! The pool is so fabulous and great for families especially dine the unit has 3 bedrooms making it great valve.
