The house was perfect. Clean, comfortable, as advertised

It was a great weekend. We traveled with 8 adults and 4 children. The kids had an amazing time playing in the bunk bed room. We are happy to have found the baby gate to block off the lower level. The lower level rooms are connected. Just an fyi you do have to walk through lower master to get to the other room. You can access the hot tub from the lower level rooms by taking the stairs outside. The hot tub was nice and hot with nice scenic views. When we woke up Saturday and Sunday we had snow. The main deck served as a personal snow park for the kids. The lower deck was amazing with the couches and fire pit. Such a beautiful scenic view. Really enjoyed this home and plan to come back to visit.

Great cabin. Good amount of room.

We enjoyed our stay at the house. We had a large group of family and friends with children. The house was very clean upon arrival and we had a complementary wine. The kitchen had coffee and teas stocked, as well as different spices (more wine glasses are needed). Also, a large trash can would help. We enjoyed having dinners at the dining table and the outdoor hot tub. The bedroom layout was a bit of a challenge, with one bedroom that was downstairs that led to another smaller bedroom, you have to walk through one to get to another. Also, the upstairs bedroom next to the living room can be noisy if people are talking in the living room. We were expecting a bigger house based on pictures. We still enjoyed it very much and had a great time. The view from the patio is spectacular!

This was our second time staying at this place. Very nice and clean place. There was an upgrade since our previous visit - added a hot tub, which we enjoyed very much.

House was exactly as advertised. Clean and spacious. Host was extremely helpful and communicative. Would love to return soon.

Our multi family group loved this house. Plenty of space for everyone, very well stocked kitchen, easy driveway access, nice hot tub. One bedroom is only accessed by going through another bedroom but our group was ok with that. Would def stay here again.

We stayed there with three families. There is plenty of space for each family to have their own spacious room. The main room is a good size to accommodate us and has incredible views. We especially enjoyed the view from master bedroom on the top floor. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied. Our host was welcoming and easy to communicate with. We appreciate the opportunity to have stayed there. We would definitely stay there again.

Cabin has a great floorplan for large group or multiple families. Furnishings in all rooms better than most cabins I've rented. Very clean and stocked with enough towels, kitchen items, and Keurig pods. Two things not so great. There's no garage door switch in the garage. You have to operate the door from a switch on the wall in house entry way. If you use the pool table in garage you can't close the door so it can get quite chilly. Also the placement of the washer & dryer in stairwell is odd and potentially dangerous. I didn't use it but you'd have to be careful. Both are minor issues. Overall a great cabin and nice owners.

We had a great family Thanksgiving at this beautiful home. There was room for each of our kids families to have their own room and bed. Each agreed it was the best location we have rented. Loved the big refrigerator. Parking for 4 cars. Outside fire pit perfect. Well look to rent this facility again in the future.

We had a most wonderful stay at the cabin! Not only is it beautiful, but perfect for my family. The hosts are so friendly and communicative, making sure everything was in order for us! We can't wait to return!!!!

Fabulous and perfect for our needs. Adult family members, a well behaved dog, staying for family member wedding in Murphys- house was perfect, all supplies from bedding to kitchen were clean and just what we needed to make delicious meals.

Arnold is lovely and the house was perfect. The 3 levels, decks, and comfort inside and outside makes for a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Thank you!!!

Great house, there were 8 of us a few couples a few singles. We all fit very comfortably in this house. Had a ton of fun and a lot of laughs. The house itself is very nice. Beds are comfortable. Lots of TVs throughout the house. Pool table, ping pong video games. The only drawback is you have to go through one bedroom to get to another. Two of the bedrooms didn’t have closets. Other than that the house was fantastic. It was easy to get a hold of the owner. One of the couples had a small convertible car they were worried about the wildlife getting into the car. The owner let us park the car in the garage. The house was very well stocked. Great house, I highly recommend.

The house is huge, very clean, with plenty of outdoor furniture. We had a fantastic time there.

The house was beautiful and fully stocked kitchen. It was so nice to have all the extra trays with flowers on all the beds and the complimentary bottle of red wine. The house was perfect for our 3 families. I was concerned with the busy road the house is on with kids.

Good location to enjoy Big Trees State Park and lakes

Our extended family enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The house itself was clean and spacious and close to everything we wanted to do in Arnold. We really enjoyed using the hot tub and relaxing on the three separate decks. The three floors of the house were convenient for our separate families to have our own space. However, the quirky downstairs room that can only be accessed by going through the other bedroom could be a problem for other groups. We were, however, very disappointed in the lack of communication from the host. We had a VERY uncomfortable first night, due to a very uneven cooling system with a bizarre setting. I sent multiple texts, calls, and even messages through the VRBO app trying to ask for help from the host, with no response until the next day. Apparently the three separate AC thermostats on the three floors need to be set to the same temperature in order to work (a recent change that was not communicated in any way, and also makes no sense.) Other small inconveniences were that the TV in the upper master bedroom didn’t work and there were no hand towels in any of the bathrooms in the whole house, which was just weird. We did appreciate the toiletries supplied, the Keurig pods available, and the yummy Frog Wine that was left for us. For the price, it wasn’t a bad stay, but could definitely be improved with better communication, more towels, and black out shades in the upstairs room where the sun hits you in the face the moment it rises in the morning.

Good communication with owner. Good 4 car parking, comfortable sleeping space in 5 rooms for 12 people, but had to cross one bedroom to access downstairs bathroom. Ice maker still out since previous month review, hot tub area very dusty and had to clean. otherwise had a good stay.

Great cabin with plenty of amenities. This is the second time we have rented the Awan. Good communication from the owner prior to our stay, during our stay and after our stay. Would recommend to families or larger groups that need multiple sleeping spaces. Plenty of places on the decks to enjoy the sunshine and relax.

This place was just as expected. Check in was a breeze and communication was great! It was us and another family and the layout of the house was perfect for us to all be together and yet have our own family spaces. Location to the store, lake and all other things was great! Thank you!

Arnold is a lovely town for a summer trip. Our gaggle adults and kids enjoyed kayaking on White Pines lake, and hiking in Big Trees. This house was a great home base, especially the expansive deck for morning visits over coffee. The bunk bed room easily held four kids, but could have fit two more if we’d needed it. The fact that on the bottom floor you had to walk through one room to get to the next was a little weird, but we made it work. All in all I’d recommend this house!

Over all good, heating/cooling system us uneven. Ice maker didnt work we just bought ice miner issue. Great to be abke to oark at street level with 4 spaces fir all our cars.

This property was perfect for our family and friends. There was so much room for everyone to enjoy and have there own space. The views were amazing! The hosts were so quick to answer any questions and were so accommodating. We would recommend this property to anyone especially a large group. Thanks for a wonderful visit 😊

Everything was great. The house was well stocked, clean and everything was as expected. The kitchen was nice and the Keurig with cups and everything else needed for coffee was a nice bonus. The only drawback is that the upper bedroom is badly in need of blackout drapes. The existing drapes barely block out the morning sun.

Worked out great for our 3-night stay. Accommodations were clean and comfortable. Was great cooking in the kitchen that all the necessities. Easy to find location - Arnold is a nice little mountain town - has a full-size supermarket. Overall great stay.
