Myself and my partner stayed with our dog for 2 nights. The location is incredible, the hut is so clean and lovely, dog treats left for our dog and welsh cakes for us :) gorgeous views from every window. We are visiting again soon and have recommended it to family and friends who are booking too. Lovely quiet getaway from homelife and lovely to be without our phones!

Cwm is so peaceful you can do nothing but instantly relax, the sounds of nature is the main thing you'll hear here, it's like being in a real life meditation. The white bed linen on a very comfortable and ample size bed is a wonderful place to lie quietly watching and hearing the world go by. Central Heating and shower so efficient and luxurious that being in a tiny home for a few day help me realise how little I actually need and was a great get away to relax and reassess what's important. We visited local towns and found some of the friendliest people, watching farming happen in such an intimate and gentle way is part of the unique charm of of Cwm and a true reflection of the lovely hosts.

What an incredible location! The shepherds hut was bigger than we imagined and had everything you could possibly need. We were looking for somehwere secluded and this was prefect for us and our dogs. Laura was so friendly and helpful and answered any questions i asked. There are stunning views out of all the windows and we really enjoyed watching and listening to all the wildlife surrounding us. Beautiful walks nearby, with lots of suggestions in the welcome pack! Would definitely stay again ☺️

Such an absolutely stunning location, very rural, quiet and tranquil. The property is the cutest thing I've ever seen and I was very surprised by the size of the property there was plenty of space for my partner and I and our little fur baby. We had the pleasure of watching the host round up the sheep in the morning with the dogs. The grounds are beautiful!! We enjoyed the fire pit every night and enjoyed bbqs. Its very private and even though the house is only a 1 minute walk away it felt like we had our own little farm land for a couple of days. Laura was a great host if we needed anything it was always provided. We were very very sad to leave but are already looking to plan our return visit. I would highly recommend if you need some time to escape and be with nature. Thank you so very much!!!

Just back from staying at the Shepherd's hut. Would highly recommend for anyone who wants to get off the grid for a while. It has everything you need for a relaxing stay. Will definitely return.

Amazing hut! Not one thing to fault, spotlessly clean inside and out. Beautiful views, quiet and relaxing. Surprisingly spacious inside and a lovely gated area for the dog to run around. Would love to return!

A wonderful stay in this beautiful Shepard’s hut. The hut has everything you need for a little retreat. The location is beautiful with lovely walks. We especially liked the private fenced area around the hut for our dog. We will definitely be staying again.

The shepherd's hut is very clean and stylish, in a very quiet spot. It's a great place for being away from it all. Very cleverly designed, it is so spacious and yet so compact, and a huge, comfy bed too! Outside area much appreciated too. Laura was very helpful.

We loved our stay here! Feels like you have your own private section of the farm which is really nice! It’s gated as well which is ideal if you have a dog like we did! Amazing countryside and places to visit in the small towns dotted around the area! Comfortable bed and spotless clean in the hut! Would 100% stay again.

The whole process from start to finish was seamless. Communication with Laura was frequent and detailed in the lead up to the holiday The Shepherds Hut is placed in a beautiful part of the country, the Hut itself is amazing, it’s unique and quaint all in one, every little part of the Hut was to ensure we had a fantastic experience We had chance to view the lambs being brought in which was amazing, Dave stopped and talked to us which he didn’t have to but helped us feel at home and welcome We will always remember our first time to the Shepherds Hut and will be looking to book again in the future

I took my 9 year old daughter for a weekend get away and Laura (host) was very quick in answering all my questions and the booking system very easy to use. The directions provided were so accurate and took the stress out of finding the property. Our stay was excellent and perfect for us. The accommodation was very clean and we had everything that was required to self cater. The information provided in the accommodation was more than adequate for all the devices and very Covid secure. Just a short trip over to the Elan Valley for sightseeing and a perfect weekend had. Thank you.

This shepherds hut sits enfolded by beautiful softly rounded hills bordered by woodland and fields which are home to the farms sheep flock. We spent many happy hours observing and pondering sheep habits and the whys and wherefores of moving the sheep with the farm’s well trained sheep dog. The hut sits on the side of the cwm and is wonderfully private, quiet and tranquil, there are wonderful trees which screen it from the farm so you really have a sense of being away from it all and at one with the beautiful landscape surrounding it. The owners are charming, very unobtrusive but happy to chat and recommend walks, churches or explain why sheep behave in such strange ways sometimes! They are exceptionally helpful and the hut is so comfortable, well equipped, warm and cool, there is a brilliant shower, hot water and central heating & the bed is fantastically large & comfortable. The terrace is a haven for eating, reading, or just soaking up the wonders of life at the end of a beautiful lane, seemingly in the middle of nowhere. We fell in love with our shepherds hut so much that we extended our holiday by as many days as were available to us, sadly only four! The area is exceptionally beautiful, tranquil & fascinating - there are many wonderful walks from the hut, or just a little further afield and we never travelled more than 8 miles which was a real joy. We can’t wait to return!

My partner and I and our tiny baby were lucky enough to come to this beautiful place for Andys surprise birthday treat. The shepards hut was spotless and all worked perfectly. It had everything you would need for your stay and felt quite large for a shepards hut. Laura was friendly and accommodating and gave great suggestions of things to do during our stay, although we mostly just wanted to sit outside the hut in the vally by the fire pit and look at the stars. We saw so many birds and it feels like such a respite from the city and the world. Thank you Laura!
