Toilet was so smelly. After complaining several times then also no one took seriousness but they were very serious of taking money in advance.

Smell in room and toilet. They give preference to the owners guests only. Wastage of money.

Living in nature and overall ambience of the place

Cleanliness inside rooms needs improvement. Old and dirty bed side rugs and door mats. Provision of Bottled (Bisleri) water is on payment

The tranquility of the resort is just wow and the number of activities your kids can indulge is just wonderful.

I booked it for my parents along with my 2 dogs...its wonderful property with amazing view and great facilities

We have paid 2000 Rs Extra (1000 Per Dog) also we got the bill of 250 INR for 2 Egg ..I am still unable to understand .

It's one of those places which you just have to experience once in a lifetime, especially if you're going with your partner. Machan is different experience in itself and just the sheer ambience of the entire place makes it worth your while. The staff is extremely helpful and the food is just worth every penny. And to top it off, we were lucky enough to experience snowfall which just absolutely made the trip one of the most memorable ones of all time, atleast for us.. :)

So since this is a jungle resort, be prepared to be away from civilization and in fact to some extent even network. The road leading to the resort isn't great and if you have a bigger vehicle, it can be very tricky to maneuver it on that road, but it's just a 1 km stretch so not really a deal breaker.

Located uphill from the touristy chaos of the mall road, yet only a 10-minute walk away from it (climbing back uphill can be a task though due to the steep slope), the resort is right in the lap of nature. The food is fresh and delicious. The room service responded within 5 minutes of our requests (be it issues with TV signals, extra milk sachets or an electric blanket). Haven’t seen such prompt and courteous staff even in 5 star chains.

For everything there was cost even which should not be there.

The Ambience is sooo perfect!! We reached there at 10pm after struggling through huge traffic jam and a tiring journey of 12 hours. However as soon as we reached the property, we felt so good that all the tiredness was gone in a minute. This property is very beautiful and an ideal place for vacation in nainital. Please dont go through Nainital city. There is a cut fr ayar resort frm Bara Pathar.. That route s good. Breakfast has alot of options and taste is also awesome. You can play TT, Badminton, do cycling and many other activities within the resort. Mall road is also 10-15 mins drive frm resort

We got deluxe room. It was very cute but The size of the washroom was very small. I kind of struggled while taking bath. There was not much space in washroom but it was clean and tidy

Chef adapted the food to our needs, stuff also assisted us on a sickness coming issue, and also they managed well an issue with a trekking provided by external associate. Facilities are so nice surrounded by nature and silence. Food awesome!! what else to say?
