We really enjoyed our stay at this location. It was quiet, yet we were only a short drive from sandy beaches, restaurants, and shops. The lava rock beach out front was a beautiful place to watch sunset. The condo was spacious, clean, and had a beautiful lanai! The recommendations in the binder (in the condo, for guests to use) were really helpful as well :)

Great apartment, with fantastic views of the ocean from both living room and bedroom. The lanai was also wonderful. In walking distance to Magic Sands beach, though that is a bit of a walk.

While this was our first visit to Jeff & Lisa’s condo, it was our second visit to the condos at Kona Nalu. We love, love, love the amazing ocean front views and the huge lanai on these units. Beautiful, crashing waves with very few people in the area are a great combination (15 units - on one side is a house and the other is Living Stones Church). Lanai furniture was comfortable (which is really important because you’re going to want to spend a lot of time there). Even though we had some activities planned, it was hard to tear ourselves from the view, at times.
The kitchen has plenty of dishes and utensils. We very much appreciated the coffee bean grinder so we could enjoy Kona coffee. Beach gear was in the condo for use. The master bedroom has a comfortable king bed. Our teen enjoyed having her own bed and bathroom, but bring a white noise machine/app as Ali’i Drive runs behind the units so you might hear traffic.
This unit has 2 AC units rather than central AC. The back bedroom has its own unit and the master shares a unit with the main living room area, so we kept the shoji screen open most of the time. It kept both the living area and bedroom cool. I only mention this in case privacy is of concern.
We enjoyed our stay very much and are missing the view already!

We booked this condo for 7 nights based on the lanai and its general location. We were beyond impressed with the property. The views from the lanai are truly breathtaking making it hard to get motivated to do much beyond sitting! It is far enough from downtown Kona to avoid the sounds of tourists but yet close enough to get to restaurants and shopping fairly quickly. The airflow through the condo is sufficient to make it cool and comfortable even on hot days. With the many ceiling fans and large screen doors that open to the ocean, we found ourselves only needing to turn the air conditioning on in the back bedroom. I would highly recommend booking this property for your stay in Kona!

We had a great stay at Nalu Bliss! The location from town and the snorkel spots we love was perfect. We spent our mornings out exploring and afternoons enjoying the ocean from our shaded Lanai. The property manager responded immediately when we had questions. Place was clean and the bed comfy. We will definitely return. Thank you!!!

Our favorite part of our stay at this condo was the expansive balcony with the gorgeous view. We ate every breakfast outdoors and spent our evenings, whenever possible, watching the sunset. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. We appreciated the beach equipment. Fans in all rooms and AC when needed was a plus. Close to town, restaurants and groceries. We were so sad to leave this lovely place.

The location is perfect! The kitchen is well-equipped. The house decoration is stylish and elegant. We enjoyed the beautiful view from the lanai every morning and every evening. The kids can walk downstairs to snorkel in the turtle cove. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay! I chose it over other Vrbo listings because of the lanai and have no regrets! The lanai is like no other. We cracked the sliding doors at night to hear the waves crashing below all night long. Dreamy.

We were hoping to get as close to the Pacific as possible. Any closer and we would have been in it. The veranda overlooking the ocean simply cannot be beat.

I can't express how positive our experience was at Nalu Bliss - the condo is exactly as pictured and the location was perfect (a short drive from town but the benefit of having the most amazing view of the oceans and sunsets). Additionally, the condo was equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our stay - beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, coolers, boogie boards, and even snorkel gear.
Additionally, communication with the host was excellent. Would 100% recommend!

Stop looking for your place to stay in Kona Kailua. This unit is the best you will ever find. Close to Kona town, close to two great snorkeling beaches, close to Da Poke Shack and faces out to the crashing surf. Perfectly appointed with all of the small things you would expect to have in your own home. Clean as a whistle. Beautifully furnished. Great mattresses. But best of all an enormous lanai facing out to the surf and the green flash at sunset. You will want to have all your meals on the lanai. There are a couple of steps to climb to get to the elevator or you can take the stairs up to the second floor. Door has a coded entry so no need to carry the key around with you. Small pool is refreshing. Small local church next door has frequent outdoor activities open to the public. about 1/2 mile to closest convenience store - quite walkable. Alexa is working and the tv has way too many channels! We have stayed in VRBO units all over the world and would rate this in the top five. Book with confidence you are getting exactly what the pictures show. No bad surprises here. GREAT hosts!

3 sisters and niece all senior citizens. Very little road noise, usually just heard the waves rolling on to the area just below the lanai. So nicely decorated, clean, close to great restaurants and shops. The parking area is really hard to find, covered by shrubbery, needs a little signage! But that is my only complaint. We can highly recommend this Vrbo. The Lanai is the perfect place for morning coffee and sunsets.

We had a great time on the Big Island and this was in big part due to our rental. This s a BEAUTIFUL condo, and as others have said equipped with everything you need....and you didn't think you need. The condo is very roomy, clean and has a large lanai offering exceptional sunset views. Check-in was a breeze, communication was great (only when needed, without annoying messages all the time), location was great, overall a wonderful experience. We could not have asked for more!

If you're looking for a place that feels very private, yet is convenient to everything, this is your place. Stop looking and book this wonderful condo. It's more than depicted in the photos and the lanai is spectacular.
It is furnished comfortably and the kitchen is extremely well stocked! I'd made a list of groceries to buy on the way to the condo, only to find much of it was already there! The beds are comfortable and the showers spacious.
Communication is informative and timely. It is well maintained with convenient parking. While there, we met the Strata Manager and a Board Member out inspecting the public areas for repairs. It's a small strata and you definitely feel the "personal" touch this condo exudes!

This place was great for a week long stay on the Big Island. It is close to the town of Kona (@2miles). We did not realize most of the major resorts were a lot further away. We went to Costco on the first day and we were able to make breakfasts and lunches for on the go. The kitchen really does have everything you could need - there was even tupperware to take our lunches on the go. I did not realize white sand beaches were hard to find and we used the beach right in front of our unit multiple times. The owner is very responsive and we could not be more pleased with this stay. IT is the little things - they had paper towels and garbage bags and dish soap that some other VRBO's lack that make it a very easy stay.
You will not be disappointed!

Nalu Bliss is located just far enough away from the touristy center of Kona but not so far that we have to drive much for all the conveniences. The lanai is the highlight of the place--as this is right on the seaside, we got many beautiful totally unobstructed sunset evenings. Took some really great photographs.
The only feedback to the owners is that the kitchen and pantry were not very clean when we walked in. The bed was firm and very comfortable..
Overall, we had a very enjoyable week there...

We loved the waterfront condo with the lanai getting sunset and whale action. The beds were comfortable and the property came with AC and washer/dryer. The cons: Pillows are very flat and need replacing, we actually had to go to the store and purchase 2 more for our stay. Storage space for guests is minimal and we were there 10 days so it was an inconvenience but we made it work.
Beware of the sliding door in the living room. It slides really fast and fingers can be easily caught if not careful. If you are on the lanai and the door seems to be locked when you try to go back inside, gently press in when opening door. As mentioned by another reviewer, the main bedroom by the lanai will not get AC if you close the sliders between the living room and bedroom. We just closed them part of the way for AC.

Overall the property is great. Just be aware that the master bedroom is carved out of the living room with the sliders. If you close the sliders you get no air conditioning from the living room. So we had to sleep with the sliders open to get some cool air. Otherwise everything is perfect.

Four friends, two couples, spent five nights at this beautiful property. The location and the Lanai is perfect. Is it within walking distance of a small Beach. Not close enough to walk to any restaurants, but very close to town. The kitchen is well equipped. I love the fact that there are condiments and spices at the house for guests to use. There are also many Beach accessories available for use. The AC worked well, which was a good thing, because it was very warm when we were there. It was perfect for two couples and we would definitely stay there again.
