Perfect central location just off the main road. Staff were pleasant. Room was modern and clean. Breakfast was typical - eggs, toast, fruit, and coffee - but good. Nice open dining/work area. I questioned booking it with the 7.8 rating it got but it was only one of two options for the date I was looking for. I read the mixed reviews and just decided to take the chance. Happy I did...I would definitely stay again!

Very minor but the cold handle on my sink didn't work when I turned it on (no water came out), only the hot one did. However, the water wasn't hot so it was fine for what I needed it for (washing hands, brushing teeth, washing face). The windows are your typical single pane windows so it can be noisy being around the courtyard where the pool is. Although, the room had both air conditioning and a fan so between the two they were good white noise.

poorly trained staff. we were asked three times at breakfast if we would like coffee. there was a problem with the coffee machine, but some of the waiters were unaware and kept asking us. i wanted to order a cocktail (nobody else at the bar), but was told to wait as they were busy) so we went elsewhere. electricity in the room kept going out.

Great facilities: restaurant, sauna, pool... and very confortable rooms. Good value for money, we really recommend this hotel!

Staff at the bar and breakfast is very slow, brings the wrong food (even when ordering in spanish) and seems annoyed Overall.

The massage they offered was good and they cleaned the room nicely after the first night for the rest we couldn't wait to leave.

The hotel was full of kids, our room was directly next to the playground and the pool. There was a constant mix of screaming kids, loud music from the bar and people playing in the pool. Furthermore, there where dogs in the hotel which were constantly barking while the hotel writes that pets are not allowed. In our room were holes where insects came through. The bathroom was very tiny and also there was an open pipe where noise came out as well. We had to wait extremely long for the food. The music at the bar near the pool is very loud and annoying. Please read the small letters. They charge you a big amount for service costs. The hotel is for what you get way over priced. If you ask for a water instead of a coffee or chocolate at the breakfast they will charge you for the water.

- no safe in room - the hotel room was different to what the reservation was, front office staff did not accomodate proper room - Room is small - Staff is not very helpful - Very noisy - Window in bathroom could not be closed properly - Only cold water in shower - Breakfast offer is really low, worst I had during the vacation. No bread, no arepa, no juice, nothing

- Room was clean - Staff is friendly, refilled our waterbottles for free everytime - Location is good if you want to go bird watching or head to the different waterfalls nearby

- Way too expensive for what they offer - The walls are like paper and the U-shape of the hotel catches the sound of the whole town. Impossible to sleep through a whole night. You are either woken up by the roosters around you or by full volume music in town/hotel or by the washing machine or your neighbours or the water fountain in the swimming pool - Breakfast is very basic - Our room had a very funky smell when we first came in. Probably because of the high humidity in the rooms, nothing gets dry. - Rooms have a plastic electric shower head and very very low pressure

Great location, very good breakfast. This is easily best accommodation in Minca village.

The room was great, big spaces and really comfortable. The hotel also had some great public spaces as the pool, some net beds overlloking the street, some big couches and hammocs on the top floor perfect to see the views and sundown/sunrise.

We tried to book a massage session but the people in charge of that were unavailable, we understand that there was a time issue with them, but this comment its just to say that the massage service is not assured with the hotel, they need to check with the people that do the massage to see if it is possible.

Great staff, great location, good facilities! Minca is so worth seeing and this hotel is perfect to both hike in the mountains, relax at the pool and be close to the restaurants at night

I couldn’t sleep I did not get one hour sleep because the air conditioning unit was making a huge ‘banging’ noise. I turned the unit it off but it continued with the noise. I told the staff the next day they was not bothered at all they said they’d take my number to offer me some compensation but after 2 weeks and no response from the hotel I’m still waiting. really let down by the customer service. I could of been a regular customer here so it’s a shame

it was clean and very central

Some rooms have no hot water while others do. they gave us a room without hot water even though there was a room available of the same exact category with a hot shower. I told them about it and they offered us the room to bathe for the night and I also happened to notice that the bunk bed in that room was also more heavy-duty and easier to get up to. I don’t like the inconsistency. On another note, the jacuzzi is always room temperature water, not hot at all.

The room was big enough, clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly. The hotel is great for families with kids as it has a good swimming pool.

I got probably unlucky, but the WIFI did not work until the last day of my stay and this was the reason for me to book this hotel in the first place. The staff helped me as much as they could, but for me it was still very uncomfortable as I had to work online. It was also very loud for my taste due to kids in the pool and the music.

Probably one of the nicest hotels in Minca. Nothing super fancy but clean with nice amenities.

arrived to find out my reservation was canceled. either a glitch with booking.com or the hotel itself but terrible experience nonetheless. my Colombian wife speculates they canceled our two day reservation to make room for someone who was staying longer. we managed to stay there one night but couldn’t find anywhere else to stay the second night so had to go to Santa Marta.

Good location within Minca proper, so it is easy to walk everywhere and the on-site restaurant is decent. The staff is friendly and helps when needed.

The "suicide" shower for warm water only gives you about 60 seconds of warm water before it shuts off and then you must wait a couple of minutes with the water off in order to get it to reset, so this entails a lot of time for a shower.
