This cottage was incredible- from the amazing ocean view to all the amenities at the property! The beach is steps away and there were lots of things for our small children to explore at low tide. Fred and Jeannie were very easy to communicate with when we had any questions. We will definitely be back!

This property is excellent. Has everything you need. Comfortable inside and out. Lots of outdoor seating space and shade for hot days. Walk 20secs down to beach and walk at low tide and swim at high tide (rarely deeper than 5 feet so perfect for famlies). Sea is very calm most days and excellent park a short walk across the cove with playground facilities etc for little ones to play and make vacation friends. Beds comfortable. Bathroom clean and updated. Kitchen has everything you need. Just needs a big salad bowl. Beautiful view from deck. Close to Charlottetown for those rainy days and Victoria by the Sea for dinner. Good solid BBQ. Linen provided was good quality. Owner always reachable. Fridge was wonky when we arrived but owner was on it. Only room for improvement is maybe some standing fans for bedrooms. If the weather keeps getting warmer they will be needed. Garbage sorting is a bit of a puzzle but this is a PEI issue we have encountered before. The agency should put out a visual infographic so we can support waste program. If you like a quiet relaxed vacation stay to read a book and play on the beach and ocean, stay here.

We had a great time. The location is central to many attractions. If you love to watch the tide this is the place to stay. We had the enjoyment of firing for seafood when the tide went out.

My son & I & little dog Stella really had a great week at the beach house. We enjoyed watching the changing tides every day. The scenery at Canoe cove is amazing.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cottage! Clean and very well equipped, and you can't beat that ocean view! Easy access to the beach at low tide via ramp. The hosts were very helpful and quick to respond to any questions!

Second summer vacation here at the Beach House. We love this place. It has one of the best ocean views on the island, no doubt. Hosts are great, responsive and friendly. Comfortable in every aspect.

No complaints with this property, just a couple of personal things that we would have appreciated:
A dishwasher would be nice but not essential.
Bunk beds would have enable additional sleeping space.

We just spent a wonderful week at the cottage at Canoe Cove with our pup. The location is spectacular, the red sands and tides are fascinating and endless fun to explore. PEI is a gem with its deep inlets and red cliffs, seafood, potato fields, and friendly people. Can't wait to be back.

Great location and easy access hwy to charlottown or sommerside.
Facility was comfortable and right on the water,offers hours of beachcombing. If you are patient you can see the seals at times. The owners are friendly and helpful.

Une petit coin de paradis
Un endroit parfait pour passer de belles vacances à l'île du Prince Édouard. La plage au bout du terrain est vraiment splendide. Nous avons apporté notre chien qui était lui aussi le bienvenu. Les hôtes ont été très accueillants. Nous garderons de magnifiques souvenirs de notre passage à l'île-du-Prince-Edouard.

Wonderful stay!
We had a fantastic stay at the property.. The view from cottage was just wonderful and the location was perfect.. The patio is great and has lots of space to just relax and enjoy the views.. Fred was very responsive and overall we had a very peaceful stay.

Location, location, location!
The location and view of this south shore cottage could not be better. Situated on a beautiful water front lot on the ocean in Canoe Cove, one of the nicest beaches on the south shore.
Cottage has lots of natural light and a wonderful large deck offering both covered and uncovered sitting options with comfortable patio furniture. Indoors the living room furniture and beds were comfortable. There are two single small bedrooms and one much larger bedroom with lots of closet space. The bathroom is modern and we really appreciated the washer and dryer on site. The cottage was well kept and clean although could free up a bit more open cupboard space in kitchen for food storage.
Those with small children and pets should be aware that the cottage is close to a cliff overlooking the ocean.
Hosts were easy to reach, friendly and helpful with any questions and needs.
We have booked again for next summer as the vacancies will not last long with this gem!

This is one of the nicest cottages on the South Shore that we’ve stayed at. In addition to a beautiful waterview, the cottage is impeccably clean, comfortable and well provisioned. The covered veranda is a great feature. It allows for more outdoor time when the sun is too strong, or during a light rain. Would highly recommend it.
