We thoroughly enjoyed our wee long vacation staying here. The location was perfect to walk to the beach or local restaurants and shops. The pool and hot tub was enjoyed by all! We never felt cramped even though we had a large group staying there as the house is very spread out and plenty of room for sitting to eat meals. Whenever we had a question, the property manager was extremely prompt and their response.

We didn't know much about the area before we came, we were just looking for a house close to the beach in the San Diego area. The location was wonderful with very cute restaurants in easy walking distance, especially for brunch. Great space to hang out both inside and out. Would love to come back to this area and this house next time we visit!

I live in San Diego and my parents and sister/brother in law and 3 nephews visited for the week of thanksgiving. We did A LOT of sleuthing and debating on what place to rent and we settled on this spot in PB because of size and location. the house exceeded our expectations in many ways. For the square footage and location, I don’t think you can find much better in San Diego. We Loved the pool and spa (had it heated for the week) and the short walk to the beach. Tons of space, master suite level has 2 bonus rooms (one w crib one w bunks). 2 large TV rooms, amazing balcony w a table large enough for our family of 9 to eat thanksgiving dinner on. Parking is tight but manageable. Basketball hoop was a bonus. Tons of beach toys and beach towels. House is older but everything worked fine for us. It’s not a brand new house but everything looked nice and felt comfortable. Gustavo called us when we checked in to tell us anything in the house was ours to use. I texted home once to let him know a plant blew over in the wind, but other than that, we didn’t need to be interacting w the owner. I thought the picture didn’t do it justice, sunsets were amazing. My very particular sister had us buy back up sheets and pillows but we didn’t need them. Everything felt really clean. House had directTV. French Gourmet for breakfast baked goods, Oscars for carry out tacos. Nephews loved Pizza Pal. And we hit up Java earth coffee a bunch. I want to go back, hope the house is available next time they visit!

Absolutely wonderful! Our host Jenny and manager Gustavo were helpful in every way! A vacation full of lifetime memories!

Great location! Access to beach, wonderful pool. The house itself was okay but lacked in several areas. Just a little tired and worn. Gate to property broken. and parking was tight. The property manager and owner were very late in response to questions and concerns. There was a leak from the upstairs bathroom thru the ceiling fan into another bathroom and when reported we were told just not to use. The refrigerator door doesnt close properly causing ice to melt into one giant cube. Our coffeemaker quit working on day 4 and we never did get a new one after several attempts. Just little things but again it was a great location so that made some of the things not a huge deal. Would I stay again? Maybe but for the money I paid i was expecting more. No soap in some of the showers, one washcloth, no bottled water even though there was an empty container (was told they don't provide water),etc. Again little things but little things add up. The pool was fabulous for the kids and the view amazing. That is what we will remember.

Plenty of room for a large group of 14 of us - ranging toddlers to seniors. Great location with direct access to the beach. Kids loved the pool/jacuzzi - and all the little nooks around the house made for epic games of "hide and go seek" . Really appreciated Gustavo's quick response to all our questions

This property is HUGE! Great for kids. We used the crib, but there is also a separate bunk room for older kids. I will say that the crib wasn't in the best shape and the mattress was pretty soft, so wouldn't recommend using it for babies under 1 year old. However, the rest of the house was great for vacationing with our toddler. The living room has doors to the hallway and stairs so creates an easy safe play area. We enjoyed using the pool and the beach access was so easy! The beach was really clean and not busy at all. Can tell it's mostly locals. Made for some beautiful sunset pics that we otherwise wouldn't have gotten. Great location as well. We were able to quickly get up to La Jolla, the zoo, Mission Beach, etc.

This house has the perfect location with easy access to the beach for the grandchildren and a pool. Each patio had a beach view and the management was very helpful when we had an issue with a television they fixed it immediately.

Things we loved most: -just a couple minutes walk down the path to the beach -great pool/hot tub area and outdoor dining option on upper deck -nice views for birdwatchers (2 Allen's hummingbird nests nearby) -kitchen/living area spacious enough for 8-12 adults and a few little kids -kids play area and separate sleeping areas for little ones upstairs are useful Things we didn't love: -pulling out of the narrow driveway with a minivan is challenging! I would say only space for 2 large vehicles behind the gate. -the family that slept on the ground floor with a 1 and 3 y/o said they could hear everyone's footsteps in the kitchen/living room above. Not ideal for sleeping in/nap times. -the doors to outside spaces were weathered and warped and were difficult to open at first (tip: lift up on the handle, then push) Overall this was a good house for families and kids. We were very happy with its location, close to the boardwalk and only a 10 min drive north into La Jolla. Would stay again!

Truly enjoyed our stay. The hot tub and pool were a hit with the grandkids; it was an easy walk to the beach for morning and afternoon and evening walks. Really appreciated Gustavo, the manager; we called with some questions, and he came immediately. The house is close to restaurants, groceries, and stocked with the cooking utensils that we needed to make Thanksgiving dinner.

We will definitely rebook for next year. Our family has been coming to this area for about 9 years since we sold our place in La Jolla. The location is great and the view is even better. We are a family of good cooks and the kitchen is quite adequate. We didn’t understand the ice maker but we made do. Better instructions on how to use dishwasher would have helped. We are a family of tall people and a larger bed in the downstairs bunk room would have made for more comfortable sleeping. (King size bed). Bring a window fan or two to suck in the nice early morning and late evening cool ocean breeze. All in all this was a very positive stay, thank you for sharing this beautiful property.

We rented this house so we could celebrate our Mom’s Birthday. It was amazing and definitely exceeded our expectations. We had plenty of space for 3 families and our Momma. The 14 of us never felt like we didn’t have enough room. Having the beach so close was amazing! We paid to heat the pool and it was worth every cent. Thanks you for the wonderful adventure!

The house is located in the pacific beach neighborhood of San Diego, which is very quaint and walkable. The beach is minutes away and the back deck provides a view of it. The house is on 3 levels with the 2nd level being the main living area. The kitchen is spacious along with the eating/living/TV viewing area. The upper patio has lots of space, a view of the ocean and pool. The 2nd level also has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The upper level has the master bedroom with a patio, large bathroom and closet. It also connects to a baby's room with crib. Down a hallway is another bedroom with bunk beds set up for children complete with some toys, books and a TV. Downstais is the entry, laundry room, another living room, bathroom and bedroom. The bedroom has a queen bed along with bunk beds in it.

This was a beautiful spot to meet up with our college-aged children for a beautiful and relaxing spring break. The large house provided plenty of space for our group of 8 to spread out. Gustavo, the property manager, was readily available when we had questions and we enjoyed renting surfboards and catching some waves. The property was very clean and we had a wonderful time.

It was a beautiful weekend with walks on the beach, meals with friends and family and great weather.
