The owner was there just as i collcetd the keys and he showed us around. He was great and the place is beautiful and very peaceful. Very comfortable.

There is no oven at the porperty (only a microwave) but not a huge issue. The road to it is tricky.

Luxurious little stay in Monteverde. Such a gorgeous location - away from the main town of Santa Elena but close enough to all the attractions to allow you to stay in a place that felt secluded and quiet. Host was great and responsive - his mother on site was sweet and super helpful even baking us a fresh cake on arrival! Trails on the property are an absolute must - you are literally in the rain forest. We did local guided canopy tours which are obviously the reason people visit this area and the accommodation allowed us to come back and put our feet up the comfy patio garden chairs admiring the views. Ensuites were a luxury as was the well equipped kitchen, tv access and the laundry facilities. Highly recommend.

The casita was well designed, tastefully decorated, very comfortable, and private. We loved everything about our stay.

Oscar was a really great host. He helped us book a night wildlife tour (saw tons of cool critters...even an olingo) and Zipline. His place is just perfectly off the beaten path and trails around the farm and through the forest were great. We stayed in the studio and it was super clean and well crafted. Very comfortable stay. Close to Monteverde and tourist attractions too. Highly recommend.

Very remote by Los Angeles standards. 😄 Oscar was wonderful - lives close and was available for anything we needed. Home very tastefully and beautifully decorated. Perfect for two couples or a family. Close to all the attractions we wanted to visit including Selvatura Adventure Park.

The property was amazing. The apartment itself has large windows everywhere to enjoy the beautiful landscaping. There is also a great trail of the property and Oscar is so helpful and kind! We really don’t want to leave.

We loved everything about our stay here. Beautiful setting, the lodge is very comfortable and has lots of wall-to-wall glass windows so you feel immersed in the tranquility of the wildlife and surroundings. Oscar was a wonderful host, we had eggs and bread so we could make our own breakfast the first day (which was great after a late night arrival). He also put us in touch with a local guide (Victor - who was awesome) to take us around to the cloud forest as well as organized entrance tickets for us. This lodge is incredible value for money too, it's very spacious and all done to a high spec. I only wish we could've stayed a day or too longer!

A great property just 5 minutes by car into town. You really feel like you are in the jungle. Super clean and amazing views out of the huge windows. A nice trail through the jungle on the property. Lots of wildlife to spot. The owner was great and kindly left us some essentials to make our stay even better! Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Excellent structure with all new fully equipped kitchen, an impressive landscaping with a 90 minute walking trail inside the property. Oscar the owner was extremely helpful with suggestions of where to go and what to do in Monte Verde.

Oscars place is just gorgeus! We booked the studio appartment for our 2 day stay in Monteverde and the appartment and surrounding nature really exceeded our expectations. The appartment is completely remote and its full front has a beautiful view into the cloudforest. You can see birds from the bed/jacuzzi or watch the rain drop and clouds passing by. Everything is furnitured with a high sense for sightliness. Kitchen is completely equipped and Oscar also provided basics for cooking like salt oil coffee tea and also some eggs and bred. Also the enclosure is beautifully arranged with a pod, picknick place and two trails That you can follow. Really close are all the main Highline attractions and Santa Elena downtown is just 6 minutes away All in all this was a perfect stay for us and a nice (luxures) alternative to our rooftop tent ;)

We loved our stay at Olingo Monteverde! The studio is spacious, full of light and the perfect couple's retreat. The view is incredible to wake up to (sometimes you'll see the owner's horses grazing) and we preferred the location outside of the busier centre of Monteverde/Santa Elena. The studio includes any amenity you may need, including hair dryer, coffee maker, toaster, etc.

The location was great. Hospitality was top notch and the views of the rain forest were spectacular

I was pleased across the board

One of the best views to wake up to. It’s very calming and rejuvenating. We barely left the place. The bath tub was definitely a cherry on the cake. Oscar was an amazing host and super friendly. I wish we could have stayed longer
