We likes this stay & the vibe in Uvita so much that we prolonged our stay, even tho we already booked another accommodation in Jaco which was not refundable- screw it. The owner & also host Heri is amazing. In the evening you can eat spanish at his restaurant next to the villas. His staff are very friendly & there are two super cute cats as well ;) Make sure to book a table at least once during your stay. He preps the whole food with so much love and passion- i had the best Fiduea ever.

The accomodation was excellent and the food at the restaurant was delicious. so lucky to have such a great restaurant on site.

Bed was incredibly comfortable. Owner was great and we loved breakfast with fruit and a smoothie a long with our meal. There's a fantastic restaurant for dinner options.

Would have preferred a bit closer to the beach

Spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable. 2 casitas and a small restaurant on site. The food was excellent, and the owner was delightful. He was always available to answer questions and to assist. Beautiful macaws flying around: if you are birders, a surprising assortment of tanagers right across the street.

Be aware the bed is upstairs. Not accessible for people with disabilities.

Everything! The proximity to Uvita Beach (5 min walking distance), the comfort of the villa, and most importantly the hospitality of Heri! He’s such a wonderful and welcoming host. Also his restaurant Sabor Espanol is on the property which is a treat within itself. We ate there twice because it was so good!

My absolute favorite stay in costa rica and I‘ve stayed at around 10 different hotels. Super clean, beautiful, safe and cozy. Right at the beach. Highly recommend for everyone! I was by myself which was great to have a whole villa for myself.

Everything was great. Just know you need to pay 7 usd for the beach in front every day because it‘s a part of the park. Highly recommend a car. Or rent bicycle from the shop 5 min away from the venue.

We had a lovely time in this Villa. Montse was such a nice hostess. Gave us very good tips about what to explore in the area and restaurants to go. The villa was spacious, confortable and very well equiped. The breakfast was amazing. Easy access to Marino Ballena Park.

The villa is wonderful, great location, quiet, private, clean, confortable and the facilities are really nice, the bedroom, the bathroom, the balcony, the living room and a well equipped kitchen, you will have everything you need in a beautiful place! Also the restaurant is really nice, beautiful and delicious food. Plus the cats in the property, love them!

A small pool would be awesome!

perfectly lovely home while visiting Uvita

The owner, Montse, and her staff, Diana, are super friendly and attentive! The interior design of the hut is very tasteful. Breakfast is tasty and served in a very nice open surrounding. The fantastic beach is nearby. We could access it with our swimming suits on, no need to change clothes on the way to the beach. Tukans, aras and sparrow hawks all came by for a visit.

Our stay here was absolutely perfect. It’s not even just a room it’s a whole little beautiful, modern house with a lovely balcony! Everything was super clean and tidy. We stayed here for two nights but definitely wished we could have stayed longer. We also had a meal at their restaurant which was great. The owners are lovely and helpful. 100% recommend.

Beautiful fairly new house, well-kept and very nicely decorated inside. Upstairs bedroom with a large bed and a nice balcony. Cold beers, sangria and wine in the fridge for an additional fee. Delicious breakfasts with fruit, natural juice and a delicious coffee. Very close to a beautiful beach. Wonderful owner, incredibly cordial and hospitable. The property was in excellent condition and decorated very well. The wood work was beautiful and the small kitchen was very convenient. The Restaurant Sabor Espanol located on the property had fabulous Spanish food prepared by a Spanish chef. We really enjoyed the fresh salad, seafood paella and Spanish wine. The property was a short walk to Uvita beach. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching and listening to the local birds. The owner/manager Munsi was very personable and spoke very good English. It was a great stay.

Super friendly hosts and staff who went above and beyond to make our stay special. We watched scarlet macaws from our balcony and walked on the beautiful beach, 3 mins away, at sunset each day. What more could you want? Day trips to waterfalls and national park were amazing. Great self catering cabin, just one of two on site and a great restaurant always full due to the exceptional food.

The hosts were warm and welcoming and available to assist with recommendations and questions. The property is well off the beaten path but a $5.00 cab ride to town and a short walk to a gorgeous beach. Exactly what we wanted!!!

With only two small, well equipped bungalows next to the owner’s home, this is a nice, quality private retreat as close to the beach as you can get. The property boasts a small restaurant offering Spanish fare. unfortunately the restaurant was closed during our stay, but we understand it’s well regarded in the area. The bedroom is on the second floor and has a comfortable king bed, a bathroom with shower shower and a balcony. First floor has another bathroom with shower, an equipped kitchenette and a couch. The rooms are made up daily and are kept ultra clean (as Is the rest of the property). Delicious breakfasts are served in the restaurant. WiFi is excellent. The owners are top quality hosts. Compared to most of the other “touristy” accommodations in Uvita, this is well worth it.

The villa was lovely and clean, with a large bathroom and nice hot shower. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen was large, open concept, with a nice new stove and oven and a large fridge. The air conditioning and fans worked well. The breakfast was amazing. Unfortunately they did not have other meal options, as we had hoped, as the chef was away. The host and the staff were very warm and welcoming offering meal suggestions and suggestions of places to visit. Location is great as it is very private and quiet with good secure parking. The beach was a 10 minute walk and was really nice and not crowded.

The WiFi was not as good as we had expected although when you enter the restaurant, it seems to be a better place to connect from.

Absolutely gorgeous property with lots of unique touches. The villas are large and roomy and there is a great balacony with a cozy egg chair for enjoying the rain with your coffee. Owner is very sweet and helpful while the breakfast was amazing. Easy parking with secure gate and close to both beach and town. Excellent experience!!!

Montse was by far the best host in Costa Rica. My husband and I went on our honeymoon in September, and part of our Costa Rican journey was in the beautiful Uvita. There, we stayed at Montse's villas, which was absolutely magical! The villas are located in the most breathtaking place, each provides its own parking space, and contains two floors. Downstairs there is a well-staffed kitchen with a small living room, and upstairs; a bedroom, a shower&bathroom with all its vanities and a good shower stream( a big deal in costa Rica")!!, and the icing on the cake - a personal balcony to take it all in. It's basically a little home, rustic and warm yet new in its design, and the bedroom is massive. The views and the nature surrounding grants the most amazing feeling of peace, excitement, and wonder. if all wasn't appealing as is, the property has its own restaurant which is specialized in traditional Catalonian food, which is open for locals and for you ;). We arrived at Uvita mostly because we wanted to experience whale watching, and Montse helped us book it right away at half the price we originally planned on spending. She and her husband were the kindest hosts helping us with anything we needed and making us feel so welcome in their home. Our time there was like a dream, as if you arrived to a little slice of heaven, and we would come back in a heartbeat! And to our graciuse host: Te queremos mucho, GRACIAS por lo que eres!!! Te deseamos felicidad y toda la suerte del mundo! Pura Vida❤️
