Super clean. Pretty well.stocked with everything ( except food of course). Has bed railing for kids. Great views, nice pool. Master bedroom definitely needs another lamp or 2 ! Really all the bedrooms need more lamps! Beds were nice and comfortable.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. The kitchen equipment was great, which we appreciated as we fixed some fresh seafood. There were many extra touches that made us feel like guests instead of visitors. Thank you so much!

Great five-star condo! Very clean. Well stocked with appliances, beach, chairs, beach towels, pool noodles. Comfortable beds. Cozy place and well decorated. Great ocean view! Saw Dolphins from our deck! Would highly recommend and come back again!

Overall great beach vacation

The condo was incredible. There wasn’t anything we needed in the kitchen that wasn’t supplied. It was so well equipped. The condo was clean upon our arrival. Linens were included. There were also beach towels provided for the renters. This is highly unusual in my experience. I would definitely stay here again.

We were very pleased with our rental. We traveled with 28 family members and rented six different condos at Summer Winds. Our condo was very clean, modern and came with many amenities - games, linens and even beach towels! It was perfect for our family of six - two adults and four kids. Communication with property owner was excellent. I highly recommend this rental property!

This is our second time staying in this property. We were extremely pleased with the unit and grounds. Our family loves being right on the beach, but also so close to the offered amenities. A great week at the beach was had by all!

Condo was beautiful and just as described. Weather was mild for June. We saw several dolphins from the balcony every day. We enjoyed some amazing sunsets. Of course we got in plenty of pool time and lounging on the beach. This is a great beach if you like relaxing because there is not any nightlife and very few teenagers. We are all older and enjoy our time together doing nothing!

Everything about our stay here was fantastic!

Overall it was good, not great, but good. There are a few things I would recommend to make this a more appealing property and to make it a more honest listing. First, be honest about what's open what times of year... don't make people so searching for it. The property pics show mutliple pools and hot tubs, an arcade, indoor pool, etc. The indoor pool, work out facility and tennis courts close daily at 5 pm (not 9 pm) when not in season. The arcade games (even when the facility is open) are unplugged and you have to ask and feel like a bother. The outdoor pools and hot tubs are all closed until May. What you see in the pictures isn't what you get for an April spring break. With regards to the specific condo, it was clean and nice but add just a few things to make the experience better (i.e.- salt and pepper shakers, an extra trash bag, etc). These small things make a huge difference.

Notes and observations from our week long stay at this property: Very quiet when we were there-off season. Property grounds were well kept. Felt safe being gated/security guards. Blackout curtains and table top fans for all bedrooms. Lots of seating indoors and great outdoor patio table set. Comfy beds and lots of towels provided. Extra blankets and pillows. Closets and dresser for storage space. Dishwasher and washer and dryer worked great. OTHER: • The floor was gritty. • The remote batteries in the blue room remote needed to be replaced possibly. • There were no Kleenex available and the two bathrooms had one ply toilet paper. • There were no extra trash bags, laundry soap or paper towels available. • There were no extra hygiene products available. • There was an initial smell of dead fish. • The stovetop light was out. • The PlayStation in the blue room was missing cords(non operational). • The king room did not have a nightstand on the left side. •. living room tv would turn off randomly and come back on quickly while in use. •. no pantry cabinets for food storage We hope that this feedback can be helpful in improving the experience for future guests. The unit was clean, updated and well stocked. It was tastefully decorated and the complex had lovely amenities, especially given that it was off-season. We had amazing weather which made the experience even better!

Beautiful place and we had a wonderful time. Wish I had known about all the construction going on though. Very loud and if you plan to sleep in on your stay to relax, forget it! Condo is in a good location and spotless!

Our stay was wonderful , owner was very quick to respond to check in issues . The condo was very nice and well equipped. I would gladly book the condo again if the door code and lock were replaced . It was a 10 digit code ( too many numbers to memorize) with a lock the did not turn properly. Very difficult .

I would change the door codes..it was difficult to work. Loved the condo and all of the appliances.

Beautiful property and beach!

This little condo was just what our family needed on summer vacation. The condo itself is well equipped, clean and comfortable. Lynn was very responsive any time I reached out. Beach and pool access were extremely convenient and absolutely gorgeous. The condo is very family friendly and every month we encountered was a pleasure. Absolutely nothing negative to report. We would definitely return.

Property is very well-kept, has plenty of space for my family of 6, and is in a great location steps away from the beach and access to indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs, and many other amenities. We drove a few minutes to the aquarium, mini golf, and go carts. The condo itself had all that we needed such as pool towels, beach chairs and umbrellas, sand toys, laundry and dish washing detergent and so much more. We brought our own bed rail guard for our toddlers but even found one in the bedroom closet. The entire family had a great time and have already asked to return to this same location in the summer.

This is a spacious and spotless condo with an amazing view of the ocean! The beds and furniture were comfortable and updated. The agent Lynn was wonderful when we had a question! We would highly recommend this condo as a great getaway vacation spot!

Exceeded our expectations! The grounds were so nice and had everything! Our condo had everything we needed and more, from beach chairs, to umbrellas, to sand toys. Super clean! The beach was just a few steps away. Would definitely recommend this for anyone!

We were late arriving to the condo. We got in at around 7-8pm. When we arrived the condo was not clean. Check in was at 4pm, so they had plenty of time to clean before we arrived. The bedding and towels were all thrown on the floor in a big pile with wet towels and sheets. We contacted the property owner about the situation and she immediately contacted the cleaning crew to come to the condo. Once they arrived, I noticed that they walked in with only "white sheets." We left for a little bit to let them clean without interruption. I had to go back to the condo to grab an item from our luggage. When I got back to the condo I noticed the big pile of blankets and comforters that were all in a ball on the floor were picked through. Hmmm? I looked at the beds and noticed that the cleaning crew had re-used the same blankets and comforters that were previously on the floor under wet towels and sheets. Remember they only brought in white sheets. When I confronted the cleaning crew about this issue they lied to me and stated they brought new blankets and comforters for the beds. But I then showed them the picture I took of all the blankets and comforters on the floor under wet towels and sheets. After a few moments of uncomfortable silence, I asked the cleaning crew why they lied to me. Their response was "their boss says to re-use the blankets and comforters!" I explained that we are in the midst of a pandemic and there is no way they should be reusing blankets and comforters. After composing myself and burying my anger, I asked them to leave. We contacted the property owner and explained the situation. She was very concerned as well, and had a linen company drop off clean linens and blankets to the condo. She kept in touch with my wife over the next couple of days to make sure we had what we needed. The condo is nice. It needs updating and the carpet needs to be removed. It is loose and has stains everywhere, pretty gross. The complex is also dated. The stairways are literally rusting through the support beams. The pools are very nice and the property is kept clean. Beach access is awesome. You do not have to walk far to get to the beach. Overall after our initial shock at how the cleaning crew tried to re-use dirty blankets and comforters, we had an enjoyable time staying at Summerwinds. I'm not sure we would ever stay there again, as we mostly like to stay at homes that do not have large crowds.

Very nice condo, access to the beach is great! Security is top notch, condo was clean and very comfortable.

This is a great option for a beach getaway especially for family! It was a private place that is well-secured. Nice places to eat but you do have a longer drive to get there. It was nice to not see the beach crowded like other places we have experienced. We met some really nice people that have been at this place for years and shared their experiences with us. The hot tub was a special treat in the evening time! We had a great time and took in alot of different sights in the area!

We really could only enjoy the indoor pool & spa (which we did every day!!) Staff we encountered were so friendly and helpful. Communication and response from Lynn was TOP NOTCH!!!! I would recommend brining the majority of your groceries and supplies with you - there is a Dollar General about a block away, but the closest grocery/drug store is either in Emerald Isle or Morehead City. The food truck, Captain's Kitchen, parks right across the street and we thoroughly enjoyed lunch there!We can't wait to go back in the summer when we can enjoy ALL the amenities :) Would definitely recommend this condo for a family of 6 or less!

We had a great time and enjoyed the property. The master had not been throughly cleaned. I snapped and texted pictures to the owner and she was apologetic, offered to send out the cleaning company, but I declined already cleaning the room.

This Summer Winds condo was lovely - beautifully decorated, with new and comfortable furniture and appliances. We only used the master bedroom so can’t speak about the second and third bedroom beds, but the master king bed was very comfortable, which is a rare find in a lot of rentals. The kitchen was well stocked with everything - pots and pans, silverware, glassware, and even glass storage containers which we really appreciated, we try to avoid glass. (Although we left a few of ours there by accident so the next guest will have an extra selection!) The views from the living room area, master bedroom and outdoor balcony both had ocean views. There was a stocked closet of games and puzzles, perfect for rainy days and evenings. The facility was good; the exterior of the building and sports complex could use a little upkeep. We enjoyed some of the facilities, including the sauna, pool and racket ball courts. The complex is very well located, half way between Atlantic beach and the heart of Emerald Isle. We brought our bikes and also took the bike and walking path which runs nearly the entire way between the condo and the Point of Emerald Isle - it was about 13 miles each way. Great visit, I highly recommend this condo!
