We arrived to the beautiful cabin, entry was very easy with the instructions being very clear. The cabin was beautifully decorated giving an instant “homey” feel. The entire place was very clean, kitchen well stocked with dish ware, silverware, pots, pans, a roomy fridge and with the extra kitchen downstairs we were set up to cook great meals each morning and evening. The hot tub and fire pit were a nightly favorite. The bedrooms were well suited for couples traveling together or families. Bedrooms each had a bathroom which was a wonderful plus! The Boone, Blowing Rock and surrounding areas were easy to travel to and plenty of great local breweries and restaurants. The location of the cabin is very quiet with several permanent residents on the mountain. The trip up the mountain was paved with some loose gravel, with the last 200ish feet to the cabin being more rock, but not rough. With so many attributes with this gorgeous cabin, the one thing we wished had been a little better were the mattresses, not as comfortable as we had hoped, but not enough of an issue we wouldn’t book here again. If you choose Windswept Vistas you will not be disappointed!

It was wonderful spending time with family and friends to celebrate our son’s college graduation at App. This house was large and Comfortable. Make sure you have four wheel drive to get up the mountain!

My family and I just stayed at this property for the weekend and I am so happy we found it. It was clean & stunning inside and out. We had dinner plans the night we arrived but decided to eat in because we didn’t want to leave the house lol do yourself a favor & book this house! We will definitely be back! Thank you so much.

Great home in Boone to share with two families

The cabin was just the right size for both families. Location was super-convenient to attractions and shopping. Will definitely return again!

Cabin was beautiful, though I think we were expecting better Mountain View’s and not in a residential area. Fridge was damaged upon arrival and Not keeping food cold but luckily there are 2 on property.

The photos are exactly what you see when you walk in. Beautiful cabin and property that is perfect for rest and relaxation. Just a few minutes out of Boone, you are away from traffic and noise, completely surrounded by nature.

Great house for large group of eight. Ping pong table became a nightly tournament. Fun! The house could use larger pots and pans to accommodate a large crowd.

My husband and I rented this property for our 25th wedding anniversary and invited 6 of our closest friends. Everyone had their own room and bathroom. There was a beautiful fire pit outside which we used every evening. The property was easy to get to and close to the town of Boone. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and kitchen ware. The common areas were cosy and comfortable. I would recommend this property to friends.

Property was beautiful and well kept, however; we encountered a great deal of snow and although we came prepared with 4 wheel and all wheel drive….the property management was unable to provide a plow service. We had to stay an additional night (missing planes and work) and had to pay a private plow service which was rather costly. Stay away from this property in the winter months.

We spent 3 weeks where family and friends visited us to celebrate my milestone birthday. We had a wonderful time in the mountains and really enjoyed this staying at this amazing property.

This was a return trip. We really like the property. There is very little view, you are totally surrounded by trees, which I like. My wife had been injured in a fall before this trip and was unable to sleep on the master bedroom bed. It is extremely firm and made her very uncomfortable. We moved upstairs. Because of her injuries we didn’t try to keep any schedule to do anything much and spent a lot more time at the house than usual. This would be a very nice place to get snowed in. Met the young lady who cleans the house and gave her an extra tip for always doing an excellent job.

This was the perfect home for our family of five to stay for our daughters ASU graduation. It is very close to campus. The house is well stocked with everything you could need and all four bedrooms having their own full bath was helpful. We enjoyed the ping pong table and the fire pit outside. The only thing I would say is that the short dirt road that leads to the house really needs the holes filled, especially where the pavement ends and the dirt road begins. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

My family and I stayed here from2/18/21-2/21/21 and the home was amazing! Vey cozy, many games for the kids to play. Kitchen was stocked with cookware and serving ware. Bedrooms were clean, beds were comfortable and baths clean and adequate. Over all would stay here every vacation trip to Boone.

This is a large and very well kept property with plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen was amazingly well equipped. We loved the fire pit too. We would definitely stay there again.

This house was amazing! The location was absolutely perfect, close to town if you needed anything as well as close distance to many hiking trails. It was located at the end of a winding road which was great so we did not have to hear any cars driving by during the day or at night. The view out of the back of the house was beautiful, even on foggy days. The house was beautiful, clean and very well stocked. We had 6 adults staying here and we all had ample room to ourselves as well as a great space for gathering in the living room. Having the extra kitchen/refrigerator on the lower level was great for our food overflow. The house gives you a starter kit of items (soap, detergent, paper towels, toilet paper) which was great to get us started and in some areas got us through the week. Blue ridge rentals were easy to get in touch with and were extremely helpful with looking at things to do while we were there. The hot tub was just what we needed after days of hiking, great location on the lower level, shielded from the rain. The fire pit was just great and the firewood we were able to order ahead of time and have at our arrival was perfect. I would highly recommend this house to families or larger groups, it was absolutely amazing!

Cabin was outstanding. Very spacious with 'luxury-level' amenities - showers, tubs, towels, etc. Had everything you need for a mountain vacation. There are neighbors close to the property, yet they were quiet and did not impact our enjoyment.

The cabin is very well kept. Amy from Blue Ridge Rentals was excellent on check in day and went above and beyond to make sure that we could check in early which was very much appreciated. The cabin was beautiful and had all the amenities listed. We had a wonderful and stress free weekend away.

Great for a girls weekend. Loved that every room had its own bath and plenty of seating for watching TV. Great location and close to town. Will be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Windswept Vistas! When you stay at a property it's the little things that really set properties apart. We checked in two days after Christmas and the entire cabin was very nicely decorated for the holidays providing a very comforting feeling instead of the typical sterile environment. I would highly recommend this cabin and hope that we can keep this worked into our "must visit" places!

The overall house was very nice for 3 couples however we were a little disappointed by how close the other cabins were. This was not shown on the pictures of the house. The other complaint we had was with the condition of some of the items in the house. The master bedroom had torn and stained sheets, the bar stools were so stained you would not sit on them and the dishes and glasses were in need of replacement. A lot of them were cracked and a glass I was about to drink out of was shattered on one side. We enjoyed our Christmas but would probably not stay at this location again.

House is great. Well made and well maintained. They’re attentive to every need. We would come back anytime. Make sure you have 4wd if the winter weather will possibly get bad!

We had a blast, place was spotless! The layout was great and the cabin had all the amenities you could possibly need & more. I highly recommend this place.
