If you want a quality location and "life making" memory's vacation, you will find it at the Sandy Toes Cottage. Quiet location, very close to the beach and restaurants was an outstanding experience. Walking path along with immediate access to the beach across the street make it the perfect location. One of the best my family has ever stayed. Highly recommend.

We have been vacationing in Destin for the past 9 years and this property is by far one of the best. It was very well stocked when cooking utensils and dishware. Perfect location away from the busy traffic and quiet neighborhood, but just a 5 min walk to the private beach. Will definitely be looking to book this property again in the future!

The few minor things that needed looked at were taken care of immediately by management. Their customer service was exceptional! Beautiful property, clean, modern and spacious. The beds were pretty comfortable too. I would suggest more plastic food storage containers in different sizes.

Just ok, based on pictures thought it would have been fine. Tough stay for a week with 5 kids a and 4 adults. Only stay here if with your significant other or other adults. Lastly house needs new beds and was in aware how close it was to the airport, that got annoying after about day 4.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sandy Toes. It has a great location to the beach which is really helpful. For the most part, the house is updated and clean. The grout in the master bathroom needs to be cleaned or updated. You can tell they did want they can to update the house, but the appliances and bathrooms are old and need to be replaced. Packing tips - They do give you what you need to start with - dishwasher soap, laundry soap, etc to get you through the first few days. One thing I thought was really strange was there was no salt, pepper or any spices. Also, there is no plastic containers to put in leftovers. So, I would recommend to pack that if you plan on cooking. Overall, we were happy with the house.

This was our second stay in the Beach Retreat Community and we plan on a # 3 visit in the future. 21 Cottage Row met all of our family needs and expectations. Cozy cottage style but room for a group of 8 or 10 with kids in the bunk bedroom. A 2 minute walk to the pool and 4 minute walk to a private beach. 21 Cottage Row provides beach towels which is a value add. The game in the entryway came in handy with a 5 year old and the adults. A couple of recommendations would include new box springs and mattress in the 2nd floor master and possible replacement of the electric stove cook top. It would be more accommodating to have a pull-out trashcan under the counter versus in the kitchen pantry and a re-calk of the 2nd floor shower floor would make an aesthetical difference.
Several good restaurants within walking distance or a short 3 minute drive. Beach service is available with the use of an umbrella and 2 chairs. Owners get preference in regard to the location of the chair/umbrella.
Communications with the Management Company could not have been any better. Timely information and follow-up on arrival and a call during the stay to see if the property needed any attention.

This space fit our party well. The kitchen wasn't very functional, but it was stocked. I am glad I brought hand soap because there was only bar soap provided. The beds weren't very comfortable and the bedding was cheap and the mattress covers were thin and kept coming off the corners of the mattress. But the location was great, access to beach was great. Two chairs and an umbrella was provided. It was nice that they provided beach towels. Can't really complain about much! It was quiet and a nice neighborhood. Would stay again. Wish I would have known I had to use a checking account to make our second payment before. It worked out, but it was a little complicated at first.

After not being able to travel with the family for the past 2 pandemic years, I decided to rent this property for our entire family for a relaxing vacation. This property did not disappoint, and the pictures were spot on. Let's start with the Pros; Very close to the beach and pool with just a short walk. Very spacious for alot of family fun, the balcony was my morning spot for coffee and discussion. The area was very quiet and everyone was very friendly. There was plenty of pots and pans dishes for us to make any meal of our choosing. Now for the Cons: We noticed there were a couple of toilets that constantly ran, I placed a call to management and they were Johnny on the spot with the repairs. I still noticed a day later that one of the toilets was still acting up but honestly forgot to give them a call to fix. If I had to pick one thing that was very disappointing, that would be the bunk beds on the main floor. They sagged like they were about to collapse, and they also made a very loud noise when the kids tossed and turned in their sleep. Other than that It was a very great stay.

Great location and beautiful home
This home is beautiful. Everything was so clean and spacious. The living room being upstairs was a little odd but it worked out fine. We had a problem with the garbage disposal but maintance was there to fix it within an hour! The beds were very comfortable! It even came with a portable box fan in the closet which saved me money from having to go buy one! It also had a high chair ehich helped as we had an 8 month old baby with us. Thank you so much for sharing your home!

Great place for family vacation
The place was perfect! Plenty of room for everyone, pool was super close, and the beach just a short walk away! Also loved that it is a gated community. We will definitely be back in the future!

Perfect property for our joint family stay. Easy walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants. The porch was wonderful for morning coffee and afternoon relaxation. Great property but could have done without the college age boys with loud music, drunken yelling, and apparently no adult on premise. Really well developed neighborhood but next time it will be a summer visit in hopes of a more family friendly neighborhood.

Not trying to nitpick, just a couple suggestions. The little courtyard is beautiful and location near the beach is very convenient. We would definitely consider this house again! Thanks

We had a great stay at Sandy Toes. The home was well-equipped and had plenty of space with four bedrooms and three full baths (plus another 1/2 bath.) The upstairs front porch was nice to sit out and relax. There was a great community pool right by the house and never really busy, and the beach was a short walk across the street. The included beach chair service was a great perk, and the house had nice beach towels to use. Pompano Joe's is a short walk with many other restaurants very close by. We rented a golf cart, and it was fun to take to all of the nearby restaurants. Thanks for a great stay!

The closest restaurant is Pompano Joes with downstairs grab and go or upstairs dining. Most days started with a run, beach, lunch, pool, going on or down to Crab Island. We got lucky with weather, every day was good, even though hot, no problem with ocean and pool. Although there were a lot of families in Cottage row, property is just far enough from pool to be relatively quiet.

This is our 3rd year in this neighborhood. We love this area and were happy to be able to stay there this year even though we needed 4 bedrooms. The layout was a little odd having the kitchen upstairs, but it all worked out fine and the entire group of us enjoyed our stay.

I never wanted to leave...
This property is beautiful. Well kempt, comfortable, and clean. A very short walk to the beach made the trip even more enjoyable. The rental price was a bit steep with deposits and cleaning fees but it's a newly acquired house for the owners and I understand they need to make a profit. Overall, I'd recommend and will likely be back in the future (especially if I can catch a deal lol).
