Cleanliness on arrival.Missing blinds on windows.No soap provided——given the impact of COVID totally unacceptable. 2single beds in one room utilitarian—-short and uncomfortable.The only shower / bathroom was upstairs as an en suite accessed through a bedroom.Woefully inadequate for 6 paying guests.Kitchen facilities dated.All in all property requires significant upgrading.

Beautiful cottage in scenic location. The owners couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful. Everything was thought of right down to dishwasher tablets and clean tea towels. Great attention to detail with clean crisp bedding and fluffy towels in each room. The cottage was spotlessly clean. We enjoyed a roaring fire and the bonus surprise of a hot tub (it's not currently advertised as it's a new addition). We would thoroughly recommend booking here. You won't be disappointed!

Wifi was difficult to organise. We paid for three days but never managed to connect. I think this is more of an issue with the provider than the owners of stone cottage. I'm hoping for a refund via PayPal.

The cottage is immaculately decorated and carpeted throughout. There were lots of personal touches like ornaments. It was as if it was someone's home.
