The house was perfect for a group of friends! The area was very safe and close to the beach.

We needed just a couple of nights to stay before our cruise for 3 couples. We each had our own baths and plenty of room to stay. Didn't eat there but could have. Everything was available. A little crunchy to get our suburban into the garage but doable. I guess thats just California. Little spaces and we hit bad weather but no control over that. Would stay there again.

Our experience at this Vrbo was awesome! We came for spring break relaxation and training with our track and field team. The home was comfortable and well-stocked. Jing, the host, was an amazing communicator, super generous and helped make our entire vacation awesome. The house is a short walk from the beach and bay, and there are lots of restaurants and shops in the area. This is the perfect spot if you're looking for a get away! Also, the garage was very helpful because finding public parking for our rental car was rough! We'll definitely be coming back here.

Location and home were great! We really enjoyed our stay. The owner was way over the top with communication. Texting /messaging us multiple times a day, every day of the trip. Even 2 weeks after the trip is over, still sending messages about the trip. Wonderful property, overbearing owner.

Wonderful communication with the host, Jing. She made sure we had everything we needed for the stay and checked in with us regularly. The residence itself was clean and well-stocked with toiletries, towels, a water filter, and other essentials. As an all-female group, we felt very safe in the residence. The surrounding area is beautiful - right next to the beach and a quick walk or Uber away to everywhere we wanted to go. Would definitely return!

We enjoyed a week vacation in this cute home. We didn’t rent a car but were still able to easily get around and entertain ourselves. We rode bus 8 and 30 to go to Old Town and La Jolla. We took a Lyft to Torrey Pines Natural Reserve (and Del Mar) and to the San Diego Zoo. We enjoyed many walks along the bay and oceanfront paved paths. There are shops and great restaurants nearby. We savored the sunshine on the front patio, and the interior of the home was well accommodating and comfortable for our group of 5 adults. It was delightful and a wonderful break from the Alaskan winter. Highly recommend.

Perfect little home for our group of adults and toddlers. Right next to the bay side, a quick walk to the beach side, and so much to do around town.

This house was absolutely perfect for our family getaway. The location is great, easy access to beach, shops and restaurants. Communication with Jing was prompt and very detailed oriented. Kitchen was fully stocked plus plenty of extra bedding. We will definitely be returning!

Perfect for our family reunion (three generations). The property is clean, and has everything you might need or want. The kitchen is fully stocked with good cookware and kitchen tools. Beach toys and chairs, and a wagon to get them to the beach. Can walk to the grocery store and haul groceries home in the wagon. Plenty of kids' books and toys - the kids were well entertained. Jing is a very attentive host - checks in often to see if you need anything else. A++

Myself and six of my friends stayed here and it was absolutely perfect! The set up was nice, having a bathroom on each level. The host, Jing, was very accommodating and his communication was exceptional. Super easy check in and check out process. The location is absolutely perfect, within walking distance to many coffee shops, restaurants, and shops. Our favorite breakfast spot was a place called Molly’s. Super short walk to the bay side and ocean side which made for easy sunrise and sunset viewing and walks along the boardwalk. I would definitely stay here again!

Jing was a terrific host! Great communication throughout the entire process from booking till checkout. She was very accommodating during our stay and even welcomed us with a batch of delicious cookies at the house. The property is beautiful with many amenities and is in walking distance to the beach, restaurants and activities. Would definitely recommend staying here and would be happy to book another stay at this property again.

We had such a wonderful time stay at this beach house. The owners hospitality and kindness is unmatched! Was so kind and communication was so fast. We all were so impressed with all the beach supplies that were there that we could use. Our grandkids has a BLAST with them! I truly feel so lucky that we found this property and I hope to stay there again! As my granddaughter put it "This place is AWESOME!"

We enjoyed everything about this property during our 3 night stay. The owner was available to communicate and help us, even when arriving around 10:00 at night. The home was furnished with everything that we needed in order to relax during our beach visits. We would highly recommend this property to anyone staying in the area…and would certainly stay here again if we end up back in Southern California. Great long weekend at the beach! House was wonderful, host was awesome - made sure we had enough beach towels and chairs (boogie boards too). Walking distance to the bay and the beach and some great restaurants. All in all and fabulous stay.

Our stay was at the end of a trip down the coast. The house was perfect - close to the beach for relaxation before heading home. Jing was in touch with us on the day of our arrival and was very helpful - providing details to make our check-in and stay uncomplicated! The house was perfect for 3 couples!

This house is so beautiful, clean, steps to the beach and places to eat, it comes with a gourmet kitchen stocked to cook for a large family and lovely plastic items for a picnic on the beach. Has a big BBQ with propane and beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, for everyone! The owner Jing is so lovely and friendly, she had freshly baked cookies for us and is the best hostess ever! We were here for my niece’s wedding and it was so nice to have a beautiful house to stay is with my sister, husband, and nephew, I would definitely stay here again and I would give it a 10 hands down!

I enjoyed my stay in Mission Beach. It was an efficient check in and Jing was personable and easy to get a hold of. The place was clean and well stocked for fun and relaxation. I enjoyed the central location and both the easy access to the ocean and the bay and really enjoyed the bike rides. I highly recommend this property and will be returning soon.

The property was exactly as listed and the owner was incredibly gracious and checked in frequently to make sure everything was going smoothly. The owner went above and beyond providing cookies and a box of chocolates for a birthday celebration. The location was perfectly nestled between the bay and oceanside of mission beach. Would stay there again!

My family of 5 had an amazing week in Jing’s beach house. I reserved the house in January for an August week and Jing immediately welcomed me via email. She’s very warm, kind and communicative. We had a long travel day from Massachusetts and arrived late at night to find fresh baked treats on the kitchen table. The house was stocked with everything we could need including shampoo, soap and conditioner. Everything was super clean and very family friendly. The beach chairs, boogie boards and beach umbrellas were like new. The beach and bay are super close and there were lots of restaurants within walking distance. I can’t say enough about Jing’s hospitality and we will definitely stay again if we come back to San Diego.

My family and I had a short but sweet trip to mission Beach in San Diego! The weather was just so right for all of the excitement and emotions we had the days we stayed meaning nothing but GOOD VIBES! Jing was an awesome and very on point with his hospitality! He knew we were coming for a short stay but wanted to make us feel very welcomed and he succeeded! He made sure that our family had all we needed for the beach while we were there. He made sure to suggest restaurants we had never been to and made sure that if we needed anything from the grocery stores where they were and how far! All were literally in walking distance! If you can get a chance to stay on his property I would highly suggest him! He communicated with us and was very prompt with his responses if we had any questions. His place literally had everything a home needed. All we needed was just a few groceries for the short stay we were there. Great views , neighbors were friendly, family friendly but best of all an awesome host! Couldn’t have asked for our first time renting a beach home the experience was amazing! Thank you Jing for being so great we appreciate you! We will definitely have to have another trip that way on your property!

We had a brief stay at this property, but wish it had been longer. The home was beautifully decorated and had everything we could possibly need. And, Jing was a pleasure to deal with. It's not a house for someone who can't do stairs, but if you are able, this house is top notch.

We really enjoyed our three nights at Jing’s rental. It was clean and one of the best stocked VRBOs we have stayed in. Our two families of 4 all had lots of space to spread out. We enjoyed drinks on the sunny patio, cooked great meals - and the kids took the boogie boards to play in the waves. The house is perfectly located with a two minute walk to the beach and lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. We appreciated the double garage - it fit out two intermediate sized rental cars with only a few inches to spare. I think parking in that neighborhood would be a nightmare without a garage. Jing was a gracious host. Fresh baked cookies were a welcome surprise. She checked in frequently to make sure we didn’t need anything and had settled in well. We were lucky to find this place and wouldn’t hesitate to book it again if we were in San Diego.

Jing was very attentive from the moment I booked the house. Upon arrival my family was so happy with the choice, the house was so fresh and clean! My husband kept commenting how thoughtfully stocked it was. Location was awesome to either bay or beach, walkable to many fun coffee shops, juice bars, restaurants, and the grocery store. I will not hesitate to book this Mission Beach gem again!

We’ve stayed at Mission Bay for quite a few years. As the family has grown We’ve needed more space. This was perfect for our growing family. The bedrooms on different floors were good for the separate families. The location was perfect and very quiet. Jing was the perfect hostess. Very sweet and accommodating. We definitely recommend and will be back.
