Everything was good however the beds could use an upgrade

We booked this rental last minute when we decided to take a quick weekend family trip. My husband was very weary of where we stayed due to driving his motorcycle down for bike week. I reached out to the owner to see about parking and security. He almost immediately replied back and informed me of a safe location we could keep the bike if needed. We ended up not needing any security due to the safe area. The resort is very quiet, clean, and safe. We had no trouble at all during our stay. Our dogs absolutely loved sitting on the screened porch and watching the golfers, squirrels, birds, and even a few gators around the pond/lake on the golf course. The location to the beach was better than we expected. One exit of the resort is literally right beside of the bridge that takes you to the center of sunset beach. I can’t say enough about how awesome our stay was. We cannot wait to plan another stay in the Egret!

We had a great time and enjoyed the close proximity to Sunset Beach. Our dog enjoyed the screened in porch and there were nice places to walk. Thanks for sharing the property!

It was very hard to locate the condo as it was dark. The only number you could see in the dark was a four on the building. I could not see the building number to correspond with my email. The linens on the bed and the towels were not very nice. I was unable to raise the heat and there were two very chilly days.

The condo is located in a great location and has been completely updated (other than the showers in both bathrooms). The master bathroom was not clean. The baseboards, doors and walls in the master bath were very dirty. The baseboards in the kitchen and living area were also dirty. There was some mold evident along the shower grout line. The entire unit needs a deep clean. We expected better for the price.

Perfect spot for our short stay as we waited to close on our new home in the area.

This property is exactly as described. Check in was quick. Property is close the the beach and great for golfers.

Our family loved the location of the property! It was close to everything including the beach and had everything we needed! The property is beautifully decorated and newly remodeled and has a beautiful view of the golf course. Ellis is great with communication and when there was a maintenance issue during our stay he immediately took care of it which we appreciated. We would definitely recommend staying here!

My family had a great week staying at this condo! The location is only a short drive to the beach, and walking distance to the pool. We enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch at night, and watching the golfers go by in the morning. Condo is very nice and updated, perfect for our family of four.

The amenities and space were great for our needs. The owner was quick to respond to our questions and the location is close to the beach. We hope to go back!

Loved our stay. The unit looks exactly like the pics and being on the first floor made bringing stuff in and out super easy. So relaxing to sit on the porch and look out at the Maples golf course and all of the wildlife along the river. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms looked great. Being able to walk to the pool and putting green were also a plus. Looking forward to coming back ASAP

This is the first time we reserved through VRBO and it was an excellent experience. Much better than a hotel and centrally located. We were no more than 15 minutes drive from any location or event. It was private and quiet. The local neighbors were friendly and helpful. The unit was pet friendly so we didn’t have to worry about the care of our pets. The owner responded quickly to any questions we had. I would return if we come this way again.

Loved the property and will stay there again. Only complaint is ice maker did not function. Great property and very quiet. Loved watching the wildlife including the gator!

The renovated condo was great. We spent 8+ weeks enjoying the condo, walks around the golf course, and being only 10 mins from Sunset beach. The condo was very clean and sufficiently stocked with utensils and paper supplies. The only downside was that many of the other condos in the building we being rented for short terms stay by goups of golfer. So every day or so there was a different group coming and going.

The condo was very nice and the surroundings were beautiful. The owner of good communication but we did have an issue with a lack of heat and it was difficult to resolve. I don't believe it was the oldest fault but it made this day less enjoyable

I am very familiar with the Sea Trail area and was happy with the location. Very clean and spacious, great communication with property management, will definitely try to stay here again on a future visit.

Great updated unit with close proximity to beach and local restaurants. Located in Sea Trail Plantation with several golf courses and good walking or biking options.

This was a great unit fully updated and spacious. Owner was great and very accommodating throughout our visit. Close proximity to beach and restaurants. Can’t express my gratitude to owner in helping us through our stay while our new home was being finished.

Lovely ground floor condo in Sea Trail resort. Very clean and comfortable. Location very close to beach, shopping and dining. Quiet neighborhood with nice walking paths. Can’t wait to come back. Owner very responsive.

Property was in a great location and very accessible for anyone who is not able to manage steps. The only suggestions I would make would be to provide insulated glasses and/or coasters. Very clean and up-to-date.

Inside updated and beautiful. To bad outside doesn’t match inside- exterior is dated, dark, and needs power washing.

The condo was great! First floor unit was great for 2 adults and 3 kids. Everyone had plenty of space!

The ball was dropped between the owner and management company. Our stay was not on their calendar so the unit was not cleaned after the last guest. We walked into the condo with dirty sheets/towels on the floor, dirty dishes in the sink and overall an unclean unit. Under normal conditions it’s scary, during these COVID times it was frightening for us. Had to quickly scrambled and make alternative arrangements for the wkend. After an 8 hour drive and only 2 hours to get ready for the event we came to attend, this was not the experience we were expecting. The owner who is out of the country was hard to reach. Once we finally made contact with the management company who was very gracious and apologetic there was no problem refunding our money and it was done quickly. It’s a shame....It is a nice condo.

The condo is very nicely renovated. It’s clean and met our needs very well. We also took our two small dogs and they loved the screened porch. They liked to bark at the squirrels. The neighborhood was great for walking and the view was great. Their was a pair of Osprey’s with two babies in a tree over the water. We saw several alligators also. My husband enjoyed the golf course.
