This property is very family friendly! Dining, beach access and so much more just steps away! Great presence from law enforcement! We’ll definitely be back!

We enjoyed our visit! The house had everything we needed and it was a 3 minute walk to the beach. Enjoyed the view and our long walks on the beach.

Great location to the beach and beautiful property. The host was very easy to communicate with through the whole process. They even contacted us prior to our trip to remind us to bring bug spray! The bridge over the dunes does have stairs, so if you have a cooler or anything heavy, it is worth the $12 beach access to drive around to the beach. NOTICE....the beach is one way. I had no idea and now I have had the privilege of being pulled over by a cop in a golf cart. Overall experience was great. Would book again.

Everyone liked where they slept and we spent a lot of time on The porch. The house was comfortable for the five of us. We had HEB deliver groceries from Lake Jackson and was convienent and helpful. The host responded quickly and made the trip very easy to manage. . Beach was great too.

We loved the house. Location was perfect! 3 bedroom and 2 bath was perfect for our family of 4. Outdoor deck patio was awesome. Beach is just a walk over and very close. We would love to stay again!

We loved the home. We loved the very short, easy walk to the water. We loved sitting on the porch and enjoying the music in the air from the place down the road. We loved the waves and the sand! It was perfect.

We left Iowa where it was -8 and arrived in Surfside and it was 52. The house is close to restaurants and bars on the beach. We walked or drove on the beach each day. The owners have equipped the property with almost everything you would need for a sunny or raining vacation. You can see the waves but have green space to wipe off your sandy feet. We enjoyed the games and oversized tv for the living room. Thanks for being pet friendly.

John was great! As advertised. Great location. Literally across the way from beach. Easy walk. Plus nice little bar/grill couple doors down w/ live bands on Friday/Saturday. We’ll be back.

Absolutely beautiful beach. Maybe about 50-75 steps to the beach. There are two houses in front but you can see the waves between them while sitting on the deck. Very clean house. Has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Each bedroom has its own tv which is nice if your kids want to watch something different. I happened to meet the housekeeper and she was very accommodating giving me sunscreen which we forgot to bring and mosquito spray. Also very interesting to learn how the recent hurricane Nicolas impacted everyone down here. It was nice to have a local person to talk with. I would love to visit again when the opportunity comes.

My husband and our two fur boys had a great experience. The house is clean and had above and beyond ammenities such as boogie boards and beach towels as well as everything we needed to make our own meals. The beach access is just a short walk across the lawns and over the walk way. We went during the week so it was very quiet with only a few other houses occupied. Morning coffee on the porch is a must! When I realized I left a few items, the owner was quick to respond and help me to get them returned. We will definitely be back to this property! **On a Surfside note: This area of the beach does allow cars and I could see it being very crowded on weekends or prime times. While we were there, it was clean and quiet. Very dog friendly with easy surfing by the Jetty.
