Fantastic weekend with all our kids, some cousins and our dogs! Beach and baseball by day, games and movies by night. Great experience

This property is a perfect location! Not too far from the heart of Galveston but just enough to enjoy the ride and the ocean view. We did have some concerns where our bike trailer could be stored (with other homes allowing them) but we went ahead and parked on Sea Butterfly with plenty of room and within eyesight of the home. This home has such a great vibe and everyone enjoyed the weekend here!

Everything was clean. Home was close to stores and beautiful scenery. The ONLY negative was the loud sound the compressor made when the air conditioner came on. We would stay in this same area again!

We had 7 in our group plus pups for 6 days. The Host HAS done an EXCELLENT job stocking this house with all you will need - an abundance of beach items, kitchen has more dishware and cookware than needed; and every other often needed item (irons, pack n plays, pillows, indoor games etc.) No "doggie" smell - none at all so a big THANK YOU for allowing pets and keeping the home so odor free! Down side - almost over-providing at the expense of the guest. On main level, neither of the two BRs had usable closet space at all (one was completely blocked by bunk beds and the other was FULL of baby items). None of the BRs had dressers and are on the small side so spending a week having to live out of the suitcases in the little available floor space was not the best. Not a big deal if just staying 1-2 nights but after a 5 nights it gets old. Compounding this, the home has been optimized to allow for 12-14 guests - squeezing Bunks and Trundles into little BRs, completely blocking the deck access in one (that is a NO-NO). With only 1 indoor living area, there really was nowhere to "escape" to. The pantry was so full of dishes and no proper shelving - nowhere to unload groceries. Shades are needed in upper windows to help A/C work. Lower patio is awesome but with 100F+ days it needed ceiling fans. Fridge not as pictured. This is a lovely family home, albeit aged, but is not caliber beach destination that we seek. All that said we had great time and appreciate the Host/home!

We had a wonderful time! House was fully stocked with everything imaginable from kitchen spices to toiletries ( ex make up wipes and extra toothbrushes), and beach gear/beach toys. The Host has thought of every detail. Communication with the host was also easy and fast. Would stay again! Thanks again for the wonderful memories!

We have stayed at many rental properties in Galveston. This is by far the best. The best in every category… Proximity, cleanliness, host friendliness, and accessibility, and a beautiful property. It just could not have gone more smoothly. There were six of us and plenty of space. Plenty of activities provided by the home and more supplies and we could’ve ever used. I just can’t say enough good about it. We will absolutely be back. We also had dogs on our trip. The property was extremely conducive to traveling with dogs. The fenced in yard was a complete blessing. I would go so far as to say our accommodations made the trip a huge success.

Great property for two families to share. We had four young children (six months to 3.5 years) and everyone had plenty of space, plus a great kitchen/living/dining area and porches for the whole group. Short walk to the beach was a plus. The kitchen was well equipped and the house had plenty of toys, beach gear, and beach towels. We’ll hopefully be visiting again soon!

Wow! All I can say is wow! Totally awesome experience. My whole family of all ages enjoyed the beach house. The location, the beach and the house were impeccable. Even through the Texas heat we were able to have a great time. Would definitely recommend this beach house for large family gatherings.

Wow!!! So glad we chose this house for Our family vacation which was amazing. This house has every single thing needed for a fabulous stay. Even extra chairs and beach toys. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. Very rare that you find a great home with lots of amenities like theViking gas stove and oven.

If I could give a ten star review I would. The house is beautiful, location fantastic. Owners have gone above and beyond to provide many extras to help make the stay enjoyable and to help families make great memories. Sheryl was very helpful with my many questions. We are planning a return trip to this perfect property.

The house was perfect for our stay with our friends and kiddos! The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to prepare and enjoy our meals. The neighborhood was perfect, and access to the beach couldn’t have been better. This was a great getaway to kick off our summer, would absolutely stay again!

I, Heather, took my daughter and a couple of her friends here for her 18th birthday and the house was just amazing, in an absolutely beautiful neighborhood. The beach is just a short walk. The garage is full of everything you’d need for the beach for all ages!!! The wagon was my favorite, it made it so easy to get everything to and from the beach!!!

The beach house was very clean and spacious. It had literally anything you would need for cooking, toiletries, etc. We did a family trip for Memorial Day Weekend, and everyone kept raving how great and perfect this place was for a beach getaway in Galveston!

This was a get away for Mother’s Day with my brothers. It was a quick walk to the beach, perfect for my 76 yr old mom. The house was comfortable and perfect for hanging out, playing games and had a very nice outdoor area.

We had a great time at the beach house. We threw a little sweet 16 for my daughter with her friends who stayed the night with us, and we went to the beach, did a fire a barbecued everything was so perfect. The manager was in touch with us, and was very friendly. I would highly recommend this place for your next stay. It wasn’t too far from the water and moderately priced. The neighborhood is very cute with friendly people!! absolutely loved this place would stay again!

The house was a dream and literally less than a minute walk to the beach. The homeowner, Sheryl, was so nice and accommodating. If she had more properties I would rent from her all the time! I recommend everyone staying here!! The house was clean and there was so many beach things for the kids to play with that she had ready to go at the house. Thank you for making my 40th one to remember Sheryl!

Such a lovely and comfortable home. Plenty of room for all. Enjoyed sitting on balconies. Easy walk to beach and home had all the beach amenities you need for beach. Especially liked the bicycle since I have a bad knee; made going to beach a breeze. Would definitely come here again!

This house is amazing. The description of the house is 100% accurate. The garage is filled with beach toys and the kitchen is fully stocked, everything you need and more. I was surprised to find a really nice crockpot, I forgot mine and got lucky they had one! Loved having the big grassy area behind the house for the kids to play on when not at the beach. We will definitely rent again. 😊

We had a blast despite the cold blast!!!

This is the second time that we have stayed here in the past two years and to be honest it was even better this time around! It is perfect for multiple families and it has everything you need!

This house is Amazing!!!! When we arrived, smooth Jazz was playing, and a welcome bottle of wine was on the bar. The house was clean & beautifully decorated; well stocked with all the necessities you will need and then some. You literally only need to bring your clothes, deodorant, toothbrush & paste. We instantly felt at home. We brought our 2 small fur babies and they loved the yard! It was nice and enclosed with a cute white picket fence that you can close to keep the in the yard. We did cook our breakfast every morning & all the cookware we needed was there too, including the seasonings!!!!! There's also a wraparound porch on the 3rd floor with a secret balcony that you can only access from the master bedroom. The patio on the ground level is setup like a lounge with plenty of seating and a super-sized cooler. It was enclosed on 3 sides with just enough fresh air flowing through. The only thing I would suggest is a fire pit for when it's cold outside. We would've spent much more time out there if we could have kept warm. The only thing I would do differently is to go when the weather is much warmer. I would recommend this home to anybody going to Galveston. It is money well spent. Check in and checkout was an easy process. Beautiful home. My family had a wonderful time. Enjoyed the beach ……. which was easily accessible .

The house is in good condition and is decorated nicely in a Beach-theme. We had a small issue with a shower valve and the host addressed it very quickly.

Very nice home, highly recommended.

We had a group of 6 adults and 2 young grandchildren plus 2 small dogs. This property was great for us. The back yard was fenced so the dogs did not run off and we did not have to worry about the grandchildren. We asked for an early check-in and the owner graciously replied quickly and allowed for this since there was no one at the property that day. The beach was clean and within a 5 minute walk.

So happy we decided to do a do our family time this way and the house was perfect for our weekend! Everything we needed just like home. And the views 😍
