House was great, plenty of room, large outdoor area that was perfect for our group. 10/10!

We had the best family vacation at this house! The yard and dock were so kid friendly! We loved the fir pit for S’mores and the kids enjoyed the “movie theatre” and games!! Would love to visit again!

My family and I stayed here and it truly was amazing. It was very clean, comfortable, and accommodating. It has 2 washers and dryers which is great for such a large group. The kitchen is a bit small but we managed. The outdoor space was incredible - gas fire pit, boat house for a pontoon rental, kayaks! The house was a great proximity for the jumping rocks, Chucks, and more! I would definitely stay here again. The only two suggestions I would recommend is that the owners put more towels/wash clothes in each bathroom. Also we did not have any hand towels. The other suggestion is to have more serving utensils as well as cooking sheets. I didn’t see any while we were there.

The home was perfect for our group of 11 (even had extra room). There are some a few things that need a little of attention on the property, nothing major. Our family had a fantastic time on the lake.

This property is well kept and fully stocked with entertainment that will enhance your stay at Lake Martin. We enjoyed the ping pong table, outdoor seating, and kayaking the most. We felt very comfortable and welcome in this home. We will be back!

I am reviewing this whole experience as a guest and a property owner/manager of multiple vacation rentals. All of these issues have been discussed with the owner/manager...I'm assuming he is still "researching the issue"? He mentioned refunding one night, but I haven't heard from him. On a positive note, the home has a great back patio area, outdoor kitchen, game room and a beautiful view! Hopefully these issues will be handled before the next guest arrives... 1. I gave 2 stars to the accuracy of the listing because he gives no information to how many beds are in the house. The listing says 1 bed with 5 bedrooms. More information needs to be added about the entire house. That takes time, but it's an easy fix. 2. Walking into the home, we were welcomed by lots of spiderwebs covering the door. It must have been quite some time since cleaning crew had cleaned. We walked to the back porch to have more spiderwebs covering doorways and stairways. We had to wipe down the kitchen counter because of the dust that had accumulated. 3. My friend took a shower in the dark because the majority of the light bulbs were out in his bathroom...multiple lights were out throughout the house. 4. Speaking of baths...be prepared to bring your own SOAP. Don't expect him to furnish soap, much less shampoo or any Kleenex or anything "extra". Also, bring your own towels, because you only get a couple in each bath and they are paper-thin. 5. There are only 2 tv's inside this large home. The den and the game room. Some people enjoy watching tv in their room..can't do that here..no tv's in the bedrooms. This is SEC Country..we come to watch football games, but if you don't subscribe to a streaming subscription with ESPN, you won't be watching any SEC games here because it is ROKU streaming only. On a positive note: there are 2 kayak's available for guest use.

This home is a wonderful property for family or friend groups. House is very nicely furnished - plenty of in home activities - games, books, movies, ping pong table, game table, well stocked kitchen and the list goes on!! Located in a nice quiet slough.

Excellent location. Beautiful property. We had problems with the air conditioning our first night there but we contacted the owner and he sent someone out and fixed it immediately. Brandon was awesome and we would be happy to stay again and again.

We’ve always spent our family vacation at the beach but after staying here we all decided we like this better. There was so much to do - boating, swimming off the dock, kayaking, movies in the game room, relaxing on the decks or patio, s’mores around the fire pit, watermelon eating on the shady part of the yard, grilling in the outdoor kitchen. The owner has put a lot of thought into making the place comfortable and entertaining for his guests. It’s nicely decorated, roomy, and well stocked with lots of extras. We’re already planning a return visit.

The lake house was lovely and we made many cherished memories. Other than a few minor issues we have already discussed with the host, we enjoyed our trip. Lake Martin is a wonderful vacation spot for all ages with chimney rock, a rope swing close by and water everywhere.. With our two jet skis and a pontoon boat all 12 of us spent many memorable hours on the lake. K. June 2022

Wonderful home with lots of space for a large family. One of the bedrooms even had two large walk-in closets with vents for sleeping toddlers. Outside is right on the water in a quiet slough that’s lends to swimming. Very nice yard and awesome back deck with outdoor kitchen, fireplace, and propane fire pit. When the weather isn’t as nice there’s a movie room with nine recliners. Big thumbs up from the whole family!

Fantastic stay, clean, fun, easy.

The home was really nice and well laid out. Had everything we needed for our small family group of 7. Everyone loved the game room and theater chairs with big screen tv. The best spot was outside! We had a friend bring over their boat and the dock made it easy to come and go. Great grill area that has natural gas and a fire pit and fireplace. I highly recommend this home for any gathering. Could easily sleep 14 or 15. Oh, and the morning views from the master and bedrooms facing the lake were amazing!

So much fun with family & this place has everything you need!! Beautiful inside & out...great outdoor space along with a fantastic movie & game room You will not be disappointed if you book this fabulous Lake home🤗

We stayed here for the Auburn Georgia game, 3 couples and a teenager, with a visit from AU Freshman who thought it was so cool he didn't want to leave. Great, clean, perfect house for a family. Would love to do it again!

We had a wonderful group of "senior" adults (all over 60) enjoying this house for five days. There are lots of stairs but we managed them all. The outdoor space, the game room, and the kitchen were all great for us. Wonderful home!

We loved every minute at this house! Basement was perfect for teenagers and bedrooms were spacious and clean! Front yard was so fun on evenings we cooked out! We would love to come back!

This property was perfect for our family vacation. There were 10 of us ranging in age from 3 to 63 and everyone had a great time. The location of the house, in a small slough, was perfect for floating and swimming without boat traffic. It was also close to Chimney Rock, Goat Island and marked walking trails along the lake. The entertainment area on the bottom level provided a getaway area for the children (and some of us adults). We made use of the outdoor grill and patio area for several meals. Brandon, the owner, was easy to communicate with and responsive to anything asked.

Wonderful quiet cove on the lake. Close to Chimney Rock and local marinas. The three stories and five bedrooms allowed for easy and comfortable retreat. The outdoor kitchen on the back deck with fire pit and fire place was a fantastic and favorite gathering area.

We celebrated my husband’s 30th birthday here and it was perfect! Beautiful home with an amazing outdoor area! We will have to book again!

This is a great property! The game room is really great for the kids...and the adults! The outdoor area is as good as it gets! Outdoor kitchen, fire pit and fireplace, we spent our whole trip hanging out there. Brandon was so easy to work with and checked in on us throughout the trip. Very personal touch!! I would recommend this place 100% and we will be back!

The house was perfect for our family. It was clean, abundantly stocked with linens, kitchen and laundry supplies, and entertainment. The outdoor space with the kitchen, fire pit, and yard was perfect for outdoor cooking and relaxing. There was also a basket of “things you may have forgotten” which was perfect since we had 2 that forgot toothbrushes and needed bandaids for minor injuries. The owner was always quick to respond and very helpful. I highly recommend this wonderful lake home.

This is a wonderful house for our multigenerational family. We have stayed here many times over New Years Eve. While it has rained some on most of our visits, the ping pong table has been a perfect distraction while waiting for the clouds to part. We all love the outdoor fire pit. Even on the coldest days, it is the perfect gathering spot. The yard is large enough for our yearly lazer tag games...adults vs kids. We typically end each night with s’mores at the patio fireplace. We plan to go back soon.
