Enjoyed our Vermont family ski trip. The house was well equipped clean and good location. The bedroom set up of this property is quite odd. The main bedroom/master is situated in a hallway that makes it wide open lacking privacy from the other 4 bedrooms. The owners were responsive and fantastic throughout the process.

Perfect Weekend Getaway!
We absolutely loved our stay at Tallwood Timber! Perfect for large groups with plenty of beds and lots of space for socializing. The property was very clean and had all of the necessary amenities (and more). The hosts were very helpful and quickly responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely stay again!!

Over all the house was nice. Our only issue was the bedroom situation was not ideal for our families.

We had a lovely stay at the house although we went in between seasons and therefore there’s not too much to do. The owners were great and easy to communicate with. The bedroom layout is a little bizarre but there was more than enough room for an extended family of 11.

This place is in a beautiful neighborhood. The host is responsive and respectful. Had some issue of heating. But as the host was helpful and responsive all good.

Awesome VT house
We had such a fun time staying at the Barbour’s home. We were in town for our best friend’s wedding and they were so accommodating!

This ski rental is perfect! Great location & close to multiple mountains. The house was cozy, warm and welcoming, also very clean. We will definitely be returning tallwood timber for another Vermont weekend!!!!

We booked a stay here and it was perfect for our group of 2 families. The house is near Okemo and is 5minutes away from the local grocery shop. We had all the things we needed to keep comfy and warm. The house was very clean and inviting. Lots of wood available if you want to turn on the fire. Plenty of cookware to use for cooking and mugs were even frosted in the freezer. It’s in a nice quiet area and very easy to get to. Would recommend all wheel or 4wheel drive car if you have one available. Once you get into the streets around the neighborhood there are some areas that can be a bit tricky to get through if you are not used to driving in slippery conditions. I would come back and stay here again. Our overall experience was fantastic!

Loved out stay at Tallwood!! Very warm and inviting home for our Christmas vacation! Home was exactly as described! Loved all the hotel quality bedding and bath towels!! Owners were a pleasure to work with! Can’t wait to go back!

Perfect ski house
This property is absolutely perfect for a group ski trip! Plenty of bed space, ample dining / lounge room downstairs, and a convenient mud room made it easy for everyone. The house is within thirty minutes from a number of mountains, which is a great plus. I highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a spacious rental!
