This house was perfectly suited for our party of 9. It was a generously stocked home with a lot of basic necessities provided. The owner was excellent and communicative. We enjoyed the canal immensely with fishing and boating and lots of pool time. Being situated by the accessible beach ramp was perfect for our specific needs. Our kids loved the board games supplied, especially learning magic tricks. This was a fantastic place to stay and would recommend it to all.!

Jason was very helpful in answering questions prior to our stay and during our stay we had no need to contact him because everything was perfect. The home was well stocked with everything you might need and beautifully decorated. Pool was small but very refreshing and clean. Dock was awesome . We brought our fishing boat. Execellent rental!

This house will not disappoint! Second stay and we cannot wait to come back. Plenty of room for a big family, beautiful kitchen and master, and amazing deck space. Owners supply linens and there are three kayaks. Bonus this year was the addition pool!! Owners Jason and Mary Lindsay are very attentive, and have decorated beautifully. It was an amazing week!

Best vacation we had in a long time. The house was better than described and the location was perfect. Just two blocks from the beach with almost no traffic going by the house. Would definitely recommend!

Another great vacation at OIB. This is our 2nd year at Jason's property. We couldn't wait to come back. It's perfect for a large family like ours. Bright, clean, well stocked and up to date. The multitude of decks is fabulous. A great place for morning coffee. And the crow's nest has amazing views of the area and is a perfect spot for watching the sunset. Love the proximity to the beach. The beach cart and chairs were a huge bonus. My family fished from the kayaks every morning and from the dock in the evening. The pool was a great addition to an already near perfect vacation home. My non-beach kid made good use of it. Can't think of a better place to spend a week on OIB.

We had a fabulous time at this property! The house is so well stocked and has just about everything needed for a week of sun and fun. Nice welcome bag from the hosts greeted us and the host even let us know the cleaners finished early and we could check in early. Since we were traveling with a child who had just started walking we were pleasantly surprised to find that the porch had a gate to latch shut. There was also a portable booster seat and a pack and play that we found in a closet. We had brought our own but this is a nice touch. The canal was quiet during our stay and we floated on rafts for hours and then relaxed in the new pool. The young adults were glad to find a bike for a trip to the Creamery and they made use of the beach cart to haul things over to the beach. Host was great and super responsive. The park down the street had lots of events and a splash pad for the kids. This was our first time in the area but we plan to return to this house next year since everyone in our family loved it so much. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

This property worked so well for our family. The house arrangement was great and really clean. There was a boat dock for our boat and the access to the beach was only several minutes. The new pool was great. The owner was very accommodating and quick to respond with any questions we had. We would definitely stay there again.

This house was perfect for my father's surprise 80th birthday trip. Our party of 11 had plenty of room to relax when not at the beach, which is just down the street. The house is was very clean and well stocked. We took advantage to the bikes, beach chairs, and kayaks. The owner was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. Sitting on the back deck at sunset, my dad said this was "The best vacation ever."

This house is amazing. The BEST stocked house we have ever stayed in. Access to the beach is a very easy, short walk. Fishing right off that back dock. Kayaks were fun. A second refrigerator would be nice for drinks but the one in the kitchen is big. Communication with Jason was perfect. We are considering this house for our trip next year.

We spent our family vacation in this house. It is a beautiful, well appointed home. The beds were comfortable. The view was great of the canal. The dock was perfect for swimming and to dock our boat. The short walk to the beach access was nice. The house was super clean. There are a lot of extras that this house has available such beach chairs, kayaks, bikes, life jackets and a gas grill. Jason was a very responsive host.

This is a lovely place with nice updates, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and is well equipped. We enjoyed using the kayaks and like the newer looking dock. The beach cart was very handy to pull our belongings to the beach. We also enjoyed all of the decks, including the crows nest which can be accessed by an upstairs hallway. On a rainy day, we enjoyed the TV options. The owner is very responsive/responds quickly and is easy to work with.

Our family has been coming to OIB for years. We've stayed in 4 or 5 homes and a few condos. This was the best house we've ever rented. The location was wonderful, on a handicapped access road, so no stairs to the beach! The house was even better than expected with everything we needed. The view from the crow's nest was beautiful. Beach gear was a nice perk. So many beach chairs, a lot need to be tossed, but we found 4-5 that would work. Salt water does a real number on them. The kayaks are an amazing bonus. Early morning fishing in the intercoastal was fun and productive. We enjoyed the amazing hot tub a couple of evenings and did a lot of crabbing on the beach at night and even got to watch a loggerhead turtle lay her eggs in the sand our final night. What wonderful volunteers they have overseeing their turtle programs! The weather was oddly stormy all week, but still one of our favorite trips. Jason was wonderful to work with. Communications could not have been easier. He was always ready with help and advice. We all agreed that we need to return to Jason's home again next year. Thank you for a memorable week!

We had a great time. The house was super clean. Crow's nest was an awesome view. Dock was great if you boat. Be careful at low tide walking down it (it can be slippery) Kitchen was well stocked and worked for us. We cooked almost all of our meals. Grill was great too. No problems! Thank you so much.

This rental is beautiful! My family and really enjoyed all the outdoor space. It was also very well equipped with many extras.

We had a couple of families with lots of teens, and this house was just fantastic. It was so well stocked with everything we needed...especially in the kitchen and for the beach. GREAT location on the canal. We loved the decks and the dock so we could enjoy both the beach and time at the house. Would agree with others that a garage refrigerator would be a nice add for large families to help keep drinks and food cold but we managed just fine!

Jason always replied to questions promptly. Great house for our group of eleven 16 yr old boys and 2 chaperones! No shenanigans bc plenty for the boys to do - swam in canal, direct short walk to great public beach access, fished in canal and nearby intercoastal waterway, hot tub, ate at Sharkey’s and played mini-golf on their own, movies on big screen TV, and after dinner surf fishing for sharks!😳 In addition to a few kayaks the host provided, there were lots of pool noodles to use in canal, several life jackets and few bikes for young children, many beach chairs (some old/broken, but lots good ones), umbrella, beach cart to haul our cooler and chairs. Kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, pans, and utensils. Unfortunately, the large non-stick fry pan is no longer non-stick because many people do not know not to put them in dishwashers - so almost impossible to maintain one in a rental house, therefore you may want to bring your own. We brought all of our own kitchen/laundry cleaning supplies, but there was already a great supply…even Febreeze in the powder room😂. The main deck facing canal was awesome and is where the boys ate all their meals. If anyone has concern over height of upstairs deck and crow’s nest, we simply kept access doors locked and boys followed our rule of them only using the lower main deck. Wireless charging pads by beds were a nice feature. Listing states parking for 4 cars, however we easily parked 5 and still had room to set up travel ping pong table in carport. If I had any suggestions at all for the owners, it would be a 2nd refrigerator/freezer - maybe in garage or ground level entry area. We planned ahead and made out fine w/ several coolers for drinks and waters, but was inconvenient to go buy ice to refill them and to grocery shop during our stay because we knew 1 frig wouldn’t handle enough food for our 4 night stay of 14 people. However, this wouldn’t deter us from renting this home again. All in all, it is a terrific vacation home to rent. I would give it 6 stars instead of 5😊

Our family truly enjoyed staying at this property. We brought our boat and used the dock (which is very new). The owner was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We would recommend this property to any prospective renter…and hope to return to this property next year!

Our group greatly enjoyed our stay in your property. The home was spacious, bright and welcoming and the beach is just a few minutes away by foot and plenty of local golf courses to choose from.. It was probably the most well-stocked vacation homes in which we've stayed - everything from kitchenware, beach gear, kayaks and other creature comforts. There were plenty of porch and deck space options to sit back and relax. The hot tub was clean and used often by our group. A great amenity to an already great property. We'd certainly stay here again - thanks for everything! Rich A.

Everything was as described and the updates to the house were great. Lots of deck space and we loved the roof top deck. Also loved the chairs, kayaks and beach toys we were able to use with this house. Right across the street to the beach access which made it easy to go back and forth with kids. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed, and it was a nice surprise to find out how well-stocked it is with beach gear, kayaks, life jackets, etc. The hot tub is huge, and the house is in a great location with a short walk or cart ride to the beach.

My family and friends have been visiting OIB yearly for 10+ years. We used to get multiple condos but have since bought a boat and wanted a home with water access. This home had everything we wanted and needed. Kitchen was stocked well, porches were amazing and access to the garage was an added bonus. We loved this home and hope to stay again next year!

Beautiful home. Well appointed kitchen. Very clean. So tastefully decorated. Wonderful decks and loved the Widow's Walk for viewing the sunsets. The owners were so generous sharing their chairs, kayaks, etc. I'll give this home an awesome rating!
