The house we rented was exactly as the pictures indicated. It was perfect for our short trip. The kitchen was very complete, even had JT coffee!! Clean, open and airy.

Host was very responsive! Very clean and modern house with everything we needed. Grocery stores a short drive away. Cool farmers Market on Saturday. Loved being so close to the National Park.

Kathleen’s property was ideal for our Joshua Tree vacation. The home is gorgeous and very well set up for meal preparation, dining and comfortable lounging. The beds were comfortable and the home was perfectly heated and quiet so that we slept well. We loved the decoration and the close proximity to the park entrance.

Kathleen was great to work with. House was clean, equipped, and walking distance to everything in Joshua Tree. Zero complaints!

Mojave Haven had everything we needed for a 3 day trip. Close enough to the hikes and trails we wanted to visit and comfortable beds to rest on.

My wife and I stayed at this property during our visit to Joshua Tree NP, and we loved it! The house is clean, well organized and tastefully decorated. It has full supplies of amenities, and conveniently located near the national park, weekend events like outdoor market, and surrounding areas. We typically came back to rest in the afternoon before going back to the NP again. Kathleen was responsive and helpful throughout. We highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the Joshua Tree NP. Please note that this rental home does not have washer & dryer. We were fully informed and okay with that since we only stayed for a few days. One just needs to be aware of that for longer stay.

I booked this house to check out the annual summer Perseid meteor shower and it didn't disappoint with the tiered back yard and clear view of the sky. The house itself was expertly cleaned and the two bedrooms are huge, the size of a suite. They provided everything and access was super easy. The owners are also extremely responsive and made sure I arrived safely. The location is perfect and is right off Palms Highway, which is the main thoroughfare through Joshua Tree where all the food and shops are. It's no more than a two minute drive, at most. I'm thinking of making the trip an annual thing for the meteor shower and will definitely try to book them again next year. Five stars all the way.

We had an incredible VRBO stay that exceeded all expectations! The property was immaculate and beautifully designed, providing a luxurious and comfortable atmosphere. From the stunning views to the thoughtful amenities, every detail made our stay truly exceptional. We can’t wait to return!

This property was exactly as described. We were able to book this on short notice which was great. It was clean and well equipped. Communication with the property owners was great and they even had a manual for us to use with information about the home and local places. We enjoyed the backyard area which was fenced in and the neighborhood overall was nice. We enjoyed the home and it was a great place from which to explore Joshua Tree.

Can’t wait to come back to this immaculate warm inviting home with all the touches, perfect location: easy walk to local shops, even a spa for massage, and very close to Joshua Tree park entrance! Feels so private and I had the best sleep on fabulous bed. Thank you for leaving out the guitar…haven’t played in years!

Everything was clean and orderly. It was very spacious and very nice. Had a couple of games to play which was fun! Close to the town as well.

I went for a concert called rolling loud and had to drive a 1hr 30 min everyday lol but it was so nice to enjoy peace and quiet. It was so clean and it felt so homey.

The house was well-equipped and a great location for enjoying Joshua Tree. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. I would stay there again and highly recommend it.

We spent the weekend here for a girls' trip and had a great time! The house is absolutely gorgeous and close to all the fun amenities Joshua Tree has to offer. The beds are super comfortable... perfect for a good sleep after a long day of hiking! The TV has various apps installed (Netflix/Hulu/etc) with their own accounts so you can sit down, relax, and watch tv. The backyard is beautiful and has fun outdoor games to play while hanging out. I would absolutely recommend Mojave Haven to anyone -- it's a must-stay!

I had easy communication with the owner and checkin/out was a breeze (no crazy complicated wash two loads and dry two loads of linens) I did not find the kitchen packing anything (there is even a kettle). I love tea and tend to bring my electric self water kettle because I find this is usually missing. We had two adults, a teenager, 11 year old and 5 year old. If you have a busy toddler you will want to do some decor vacationing during your stay (glass decor all in easy reach distance) We always had hot water. The bathroom connected to one of the rooms is a little quirky. In order to get your head wet you need to almost lean onto a built in bench The home is older (although updated very chill-like) so at night it is noisy just with temperature changing. I’m a light sleeper so it kept me up. Like the creaks snd what sounded like doors opening at night (no, I don’t think it’s haunted-but maybe just could use a sage cleanse to be sure? J/k) There are not dressers (so a longer stay would be harder for avid drawer users-myself) but suitcase life for three days isn’t bad. Location is fabulous to the park (Joshua tree is why we went) This would be perfect for two couples on a trip. I didn’t ask while there-but there are lights that stay on all night (solar) I’m sure there is a way to switch them off as anyone sleeping on the futon will not get a dark sleeping habitat because of them. Also, stargazing in the backyard not ideal with outdoor lights on. Not a deal breaker as I’m sure there was an easy solution (frankly after a full day of Joshua we were just ready for bed) If you are a fussy sheet person (I admit I am) I prefer cotton, no sateen and no microfiber-the duvet was a microfiber. I am a traveler that often brings my own blanket so if that at least puts it in perspective 😂 wondering about why I am mentioning this. The visitor center snd the quick stop sandwich shop was not a disappointment-picked up adult lunches everyday there to take into the park-so good! You can also buy a park pass at the visitor center I would stay here again and would love to come here on a family sister getaway sometime
