Overall it was a great home and beautiful view. The management team was somewhat responsive but there were no usable ping pong paddles and the outside lights were completely disconnected. They did end up sending ping pong paddles but they were extremely low quality. The Wi-Fi initially didn't work because the modem was disconnected.

Stunning home with plenty of space. Comfortable beds and clean. I would return to this home.

We were in Folly celebrating a 60 th birthday. Had a great time and the house met our needs.

This house is perfectly located, very easy to get to the main strip and the beach access is stellar. The view of the house from the curb is not great, but that all melts away as soon as you walk out on the patio and see the ocean. There was a significant leak into one of the rooms downstairs, but the property manager was very communicative and the maintenance was not disruptive. The house wasn't sparkling clean, but we had everything we needed to be comfortable and enjoy our trip. The services provided by the concierge company were a huge bonus. I would highly recommend!

We stayed here for a guys golf getaway and had a fantastic time. The house has great proximity to the beach and comes with several games in and out of the house to keep everyone well occupied. We would definitely return!

This home sits right on the beach and is gorgeous. It is very spacious, several bedrooms, pool table, large kitchen table, multiple tv’s to accommodate all ages/variety of shows/gaming systems. The only complaint is that the AC in the upstairs master bedroom doesn’t work at all. It was impossible to cool the space. And we needed the space. And for some weird reason the heat would randomly come on, overnight. A couple of the mattresses probably need updating. Being beach front, made a huge difference with kids, as they could easily go back to the house for lunch, breaks, cool down, etc. The coolest space in the house is the upstairs loft, with an amazing view. The check in/out process was easy and any questions I had were answered by the AvantStay team quickly. The house was very clean and ready upon arrival.

This home was perfect for the week of our sons graduation, commissioning, and wedding at the Citadel. Perfect space for family and groomsmen. We loved being able to bring our puppy with us on vacation too. The views every day, all day were amazing. The kids liked being able to walk to the bars and I felt safe running every day. The only negatives we saw were the wood floor in the kitchen has a strange slanted trim piece that causes the floor to be uneven and caused people to trip and fall all week. We ended up putting up a row of chairs in the entry hall and painters tape to prevent people from walking in the front door after my 80 year old dad fell. The only other issue was the lack of bathrooms, other beach houses we’ve rented have baths with all bedrooms, in this home we had to share bathrooms. An extra refrigerator would be nice too!!! The home came as pictured online with lots of extra bed linens, beach towels, outside toys and lawn chairs! Thank you for a fun and memorable weekend!

This home was absolutely perfect and just as advertised. We had an incredible stay and did not want to leave!

What an awesome property! We had an amazing time in an amazing place.

The property managers were extremely responsive and helpful! Great property, great location. If use the Concierge to order food ahead of time make sure you check it right away. That was the only issue we had was incorrect items or items not recieved.

For our large group the house worked out quite well and we had an amazing time. Excellent location being able to walk to the beach steps away. We felt house needed some TLC. House is clean—no complaints there. However the house is “worn”. Initial appearance leaves a lot to be desired as it looks kinda dingy from the outside, like it hasn’t been power washed or painted in years. Upstairs has 3 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms and a loft. 1 bathroom is an en-suite & the other has access from the living room and a different bedroom. Not an ideal layout but you know that before booking. The AC struggled to cool the house when the outside temp was above 85-88 degrees and was worse in master bedroom. Inside temp would be 75 with AC set to 70. (Outside highs for us were mid to upper 80s). We had to keep fans running. (If the temp outside was lower like at nighttime, it worked fine). Kitchen very small for size of the house and number of people it can hold. Making meals was a bit of an adventure. The pots and pans are super cheap and a bit frustrating to use. Notably, the floor in the kitchen area is recessed about 1/2” lower than the floor in the surrounding areas which means there’s a 1/2” ledge that you have to remember is there when you leave the kitchen area or you will trip. The large table however was great for eating & games. Pool table was also a lot of fun. About half of the pool sticks are missing their tips though and aren’t usable. Downstairs has 4 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms—both of the bathrooms are hallway access bathrooms. Unfortunately the downstairs is kind of “dank”. It feels and has a subtle basement-like smell. The carpet looks pretty old, and could really use a cleaning. You can pretty easily see old stains in the carpet especially in front of the TV area downstairs. Outdoor deck is nice w/ firepit & sofa to hangout. There’s an outdoor-shower area (w/ warm water!) to rinse sand off. Ultimately, the house has five star location, but is about the equivalent of a 3/5 star hotel. We look for something a bit more updated for our vacations, but we had a really good time and felt that it was “good”. I think many families will have a blast at that place and will enjoy the house and the beach. Also, I’m usually reticent to rent homes that are owned/managed by a company instead of an individual. I will say however that Avant stay’s team was very professional and responsive. Property manager was very responsive.

All of my extended family gathered for family vacation. The house was exactly as described. I could not have asked for a better location! The kitchen window leaked after an unusually hard rain but the property manager responded immediately and came out the next day to fix the leak.

Beyond belief perfection!! Beautiful home with lots of room. Can’t beat the location. Amazing trip!!

We had a wonderful time spending 4 days/5 nights at this beautiful beachfront house. The house is very big with lots of space. Very clean.
