Location - short walk to old town - great Breakfast selection - comfortable room

Excellent staff food was brilliant room was excellent and great location ,couldn't ask for anything more thanks for a great stay Mr T Gray.

Really nice location, modern, clean, lovely reception area & helpful staff ,beautiful roof top bar with views all over Tavira , lovely spa & gym .

They were doing building works with which were mentioned on the website & our room luckily was the opposite side so this didn’t affect us but there was no mention of both swimming pools being closed .. I like to swim outside first thing in a morning so this was a massive disappointment & I felt this should have been made clear on the booking & I probably would have booked somewhere else with a pool .

Building work happened only made away when we arrived, we got speaking to other visitors and they were told before they arrived by company they booked with.

Clean and comfortable

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Spa area was nice. It was my birthday during the stay and a cake and sparkling wine was left in my room for me - that was a nice touch. Good pianist every morning in the breakfast room - I really liked his Pink Floyd renditions.

Elevators were very unreliable. I got stuck in one for about 15 mins. An engineer spoke briefly to me from the other side, then nothing until the doors opened about 15 mins later. It would have been nice to have had some reassurance that a resolution was been worked on? My mobile phone was up in my room so I had no means of communication. Both elevators were out of service when I was checking out so bags had to be brought down the stairs. Coffee was not very warm in the breakfast room. Rooms were clean, but cleanliness in the general areas could be improved - window cleaners are overdue a visit!!

I stayed just one night. It was my first time at this hotel but it will probably not be my last. I liked the general vibe of the hotel; it was quiet, no kids running around, check in was fast and efficient, room was just the right size, tv worked fine, good selection of international stations, the wifi voucher was good and I didn't't have to log in every time I connected to the WIFI (Yayyyy!). The bed was very comfortable and thankfully I wasn't subjected to those HORRIBLE latex mattress covers (though a topper would have been nice). The pillows was supportive. Everything in the bathroom worked and the amenities were good. I liked the roof-top restaurant and they served me at 21h30 with no complaints. Great views from the rooftop terrace. Free outdoor parking. 2 electrical sockets placed on the desk to charge phone and computer. Proper hot-water kettle, tea mugs and Tetley tea-bags were also a nice touch.

Really, not a lot. The paintwork in the rooms need a bit of a touch-up, and a slightly higher chair would be better to work on a computer at the desk next to the TV. An additional lamp would have been perfect to add more light on the desk when working on a computer as the room lights don't really give off enough light to work by comfortably. The pork-belly dish I ordered at the restaurant was more fat than meat and the pure was a bit cold - I'll try something different next time.

close to town and hotel facilities perfect for what we wanted as a chill at the end of the year which we were able to do by the pool as weather was great. breakfast selection good too although the coffee was dreadful - had to pay for an espresso or cappuccino which wasn’t great, most hotels we have stayed in Portugal which are many this was the first time, disappointing so we went out for coffee after breakfast and paid 70cents a cup!

the service in the restaurant if you wanted a snack or room service during the day was lacking both took an hour which just isn’t good enough. again go outside the hotel for that and there are so many great restaurants and cafes you are spoiled for choice.

Very friendly staff, very clean hotel, great location and great views over Tavira on the roof terrace bar. Comfortable beds. Excellent choice for breakfast.

walking distance to town, staff generally friendly, passable breakfast, good coffee, live piano music during breakfast was a treat. good sized suite but noisy, can hear train passing late at night and early morning, also street noise, VERY POOR lighting. Basic gym, very small indoor heated pool. Nice bar with view.

adequately sized suite but NOISY, can hear cars , train passing, very POOR LIGHTING, small bathroom in relation to room, no conditioner/facial tisssues, excessively loud exhaust fan; given run-around for request to change room but finally not able to, one particular condescending staff by counter; silly rule to deposit 10 euros to get pool towel.
