Very friendly staff, accommodating. I needed an early check-in because I arrived after an over night flight. They did their best to get my room ready for me and even upgraded me. The restaurant staff was also very nice. The room was clean and quiet. I liked that they didn't clean the room every day, one can choose if you need that or not. Fitness room and Sauna are awesome!! Only 5 € for guests. Very Very nice.

They had some wall painting going on and that was a bit tricky at times as the lift was blocked for a day. But it wasn't a major issue.

It was allowed to take a hot tea away for the day.

We have stayed here before, a few years ago, so knew what to expect. It was good to see some of the same staff here after all this time, and all were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing, as usual. Was very pleased to see alternative milks offered at breakfast - lactose free, oat and almond milk. A good variety, good quality, and the great breads that are prevalent in the area. We chose the larger room so we would have a little more space, which we appreciated. We had a balcony overlooking the front of the hotel and towards the Kurpark and the Kurhaus. As the weather was warm and like most European hotels there was no air conditioning, we appreciated the ability to open the door and windows in multiple ways to allow airflow. Make sure you have a translator on your cell phone, as this quaint town has most things written in German and you may need to translate some of the notices in the hotel/room.

There were often smokers right near the exits, both the front door to the hotel and just outside the dining room (breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets). As non-smokers, walking through a group of people smoking to get in or out of the hotel was not ideal. WiFi in the room was extremely spotty, the best was one spot in the bathroom that had 1-2 bars. However, most common areas of the hotel had good WiFi.

the hotel was right next to a beautiful park and in short walking distance to the city centre. Everything was so fine, the room much bigger than expected and breakfast was just with everything you could dream of.. and parking at the hotel.. and a very friendly and helpful staff. There was a spa area but we were only staying for one night, så we didn't use it.
