Frühstück war sehr gut und abwechslungsreich. Das Hotel ist sauber und gepflegt. Personal korrekt und höflich.
Für Radfahrer gut geeignet.
Schwimmen war schlecht alles voll Schlingpflanzen und die Leiter in den See glitschig voll Algen.

Die Lage direkt am See und der Blick aus dem Restaurant bzw. Auf der Seeseite ist einmalig.
Sehr viel Verkwhr und Lärm auf der Straßenseite. Daher sind eher die Seeblick-Zimmer zu empfehlen

The setting by the lake is awesome. Very relaxing and sumptuous atmosphere. The breakfast was excellent. We ate in the restaurant and were very impressed with the quality and presentation of the food, with gluten free options.
Although this felt like a luxury hotel at a price to match, for some reason there were no facilities for making tea/coffee during the day; if you ordered it, you had to pay the restaurant tariff. The offer of gluten free bread at breakfast (for my wife who is coeliac) was very disappointing; we had much better/tastier provision at the other three hotels this trip.
There was an issue with the WiFi which was intermittent at best - a newly installed system was causing problems.

Great location, with Lake Ratzeburg on either side of the hotel.
The hotel was a welcome oasis after riding over a 1,000 miles on our motorbikes.
Comfortable, friendly and in a great location.
The food was good, a nice bar for an evening drink and the VIEW over the lake from the dining area is simply stunning.
Ratzeburg is the sweetest town, with great walks around the lakes, friendly people and some good bars and restaurants in the centre.
For the non-German speaking amongst us, some English speaking TV would have been nice in the bedrooms. Apart from that, it's a good hotel in a beautiful location. ☺
There is little that could be improved.

The room was spacious and clean, very tastefully decorated in a way that made it immediately feel like home! The beds even came with essential oil tissues to help you sleep better... the staff was also very kind and helpful, and the view from the dining area is gorgeous and very peaceful. A great start to the morning!
The covers were not too wide, kept slipping off during the night.

The size and standard of the rooms was a very pleasant surprise! Very silent, and comfortable. And the food in the restaurant was so good. And the desert ... wow! And the breakfast was served with a fantastic view of the lake ... very relaxed environment ... you just wanted to sit and enjoy for hours :) A perfect start of the day!

Lovely 'countryside' hotel, nice large rooms and bathroom. Restaurant is very good and breakfast as well.
No comfortable parking places. All spaces were taken by cars with bike racks. No air-conditioning available and with open windows the street is very noisy.

Great hotel! Very friendly staff, competent and professional 👌
We stayed with our 13mo child, and were very glad to see that the hotel has a small corner for the young guests with books and toys too.
The breakfast was very delicious 😋 and we also enjoyed the 3 course menu dinner there. Highly recommend to have at least one time dinner there.
Overall, we are very satisfied with our stay and would gladly come back 😀

Situated at the lake, Küchensee.
Very big room with a large balcony.
Great breakfast. Big assortment of excellent quality including fresh made cappucino, a selection of Danish and salmon.
Very reasonable priced considering the above.
Restaurant also was of high quality at reasonable prices (and situated right down to the lake).
The interior decoration was maybe a little anonymous (yet with some strange choices like knitted lampshades!). Still of course this is a matter of personally taste and everything was certainly of fine quality.
The hotel has very little private parking and refers to a parking lot on the other side of the road. It only had a few free spaces, when we arrived (and it costs money).

The location is pretty. It is right on one of the small lakes that surround Ratzeburg. Close the the boat tour starting point, a little swimming beach (in addition to the hotel’s own little swimming area), a nice ice cream place, and a good seafood cafe.
