Nix zu meckern…

Superb breakfast, imaginatively presented and excellently cooked. The food generally was magnificent, under the auspices of the chef patron, Mr Rebers. Immaculate air-conditioned room in the contemporary extension. Delightful staff, particularly the charming and welcoming lady who presided over breakfast and dealt with administration. Altogether a resounding 5/5.

I liked that it had an outside seating area with tables so you could sit in the sunshine. Across the street is a place to eat with beers and sausages, etc that was conveniently located. I liked that breakfast was included and it was good. The staff was very welcoming and accommodating.

The only negative I can think of is that when we arrived in our room for my husband and I we only had one towel and one duvet for a double bed. When we told the staff they came up and fixed it. The hotel worker said this should never have happened and he was sorry. Again, not a big deal, but its the only negative I could think of.

It's a bit hard to carry big luggage to the second floor without elevator.

Restaurant

We arrived just before 2p.m, after Whit holiday and the hotel was shut, due to everyone having a rest day. About 10 minutes later someone came!! Should have had someone on the premise.

Beergarden opposite. Food excellent. Staff brilliant.

I did not dislike anything.

Very clean and newly remodeled.

A bit far from town, but a pretty location.

This is a deservedly-starred restaurant-with-rooms, rather further from Schwaebisch Hall than we expected. Our room, in the eaves, was lovely, with a sumptuously-comfortable bed, good seating and lighting, and a super-modern bathroom. The restaurant was very expensive, but worth it, with lots of special touches and a focus on superior local produce (great steaks). Breakfast was also very good, with superb breads.

Our window overlooked a construction site for a new wing.
