I wasnt even looking at NC but the picture of this house popped in my search and grabbed my attention. I am glad that happened because the house was very beautiful and cozy and just right for me and my husband. You can't go wrong with this place if you just want to get away by yourself or a partner. On the plus side, the beach is approximately 7 minutes away and there are many places to go nearby for meals. The owners, although I met them very briefly, were very nice. They made sure to send me a welcome text message, which I appreciated. Again, you will not be disappointed if you come and stay at this place. Hubby and I will definitely be back, which is saying a lot because I don't like long distance driving (we traveled 6 hours)!

Everything was AMAZING(right down to the freshly baked chocolate chip cookies🍪) and super quiet. Enchanting, cozy, & sweet retreat.

Everything we needed, was there, snanks, coffee and Alexa. Which really added to the already romantic setting. We shopped, fished and walk the beaches. We returned to enjoy a warm shower wine and hot tub just for us. Access to a golf cart, beach chairs, bikes. I highly recommend this little get away to anyone. Handsdown the best place we have ever stayed at.

From the moment we parked in front on our Suite Retreat, I smiled with joy. On the door, was a special made big red heart with our names on it. Upon opening the door, I first heard the sound of sea waves and a crackling fireplace. Dim lighting only reinforced my shoulders relaxing, as our eyes took in every precious detail Carolyn, ( the best host imaginable) arranged for our arrival. Candlelight everywhere, homemade chocolate chip cookies, rose petals and a bottle of wine arranged about the bedroom. Complimentary waffle robes and bedroom slippers hung by the bed with a rosé tastefully placed. The subtle twinkle lights along the headboard glowed like tiny stars. As, I looked over at my husband, I found his eyes sparkling just as much as mine as we took it all in. As a couple that is middle aged we both dropped our luggage, laughed and settled right into a peaceful rest. This was our first vacation alone in over 10 years and Johnathan and Carolyn provided us with a perfect getaway. Carolyn is both professional and so personable. The moment you meet her you can’t help but smile, hospitality just seems to flow from her. She answered so many questions I had. The suite was so clean and cozy. Even the patio was so inviting that we sat bundled up in blankets watching the patio lights swing in the breeze. We needed help with Netflix Johnathan was there in a flash helpful and smiling. The area provides amazing food, art and activities. Don’t wait book now!

We LOVED staying here. The hosts are amazing! We took advantage of the "extra" celebration package and were greeted with a banner in our parking spot and by the host. It was delightful. We entered the property to find relaxing calm music playing in a well lit and VERY CLEAN environment as well as romantic pedals, a cheese, crackers and wine tray, luxurious bathrobes and slippers and just an overall comfy cozy retreat. The next morning our gracious hosts blessed us woth lemon delights that were just that, delightful! The hot tub was incredibly relaxing too! The unit is equipped with voice commanded light and music, or you can use the remote for the lights. It was all so easy and made relaxing even more doable. The hosts provide everything you're ever going to needs, coffee, twa, snacks, drinks, toiletries, accessories and RELAXATION. They even extended a late checkout for us so we could enjoy our last day there and take our time. You'll not want to miss out on this property or any others these hosts have. They think of EVERYTHING to make your stay worth it in every way! I just cannot say enough positive about it. The unit was so cozy and comfy and just right for a weekend getaway for two. Definitely giving this place 5 time 5 billion stars! Stay here, you'll be so glad you did! It's peacefully secluded, yet aptly located to everything a beach getaway could want!

Everything was pristine. Carolyn thought of everything including wonderful fresh chocolate chip cookies. Downside, no place for your cloths. Unfortunately our trip was cut short by a tropical storm. If booked for a couple of days, I would highly recommend.

Beautifully decorated. Wonderful amenities. Perfect location being super close to the beach and various restaurants. The hosts Carolyn and Jonathon were amazing and absolutely lovely people! They really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and important. They do whatever they can to make your stay enjoyable/special. We loved our visit and would definitely stay again.

The pictures were very deceiving. The place was spotless but extremely small. We thought there was a kitchenette, but there was not. We had not anticipated eating out for every meal. But as I said, it was extremely cozy and nice. Could use a fan on patio, air for a little stuffy. Bikes and golf cart were awesome. We used both quite a bit. Bed was super comfortable. Sitting room was also nice. Overall, a very nice weekend away. Loved it.

From booking, all the way until leaving, everything was perfect! Carolyn & John are amazing hosts. They put so much thought and detail into the suites to make it the perfect spot for a couple as an alternative to a hotel. Will definitely be back and recommend!

This is a great getaway from the hustle and bustle! It’s within walking distance to the beach, ice cream and a beach shop! This property offers a shared golf cart to use to get to the beach and back, and bikes! Nice and quiet! Loved the decor inside , great lighting and decorating is top notch! Everything you need is there! Wish we booked for a longer stay! Great hosts!

I can’t say enough about how wonderful the suite retreat was for a mother-daughter treat after my daughter’s semester abroad. The decor was so relaxing with easy access to the beach, park with a shady, woodsy walk and frisbee golf, and restaurants. We used the bikes daily and were at the beach in minutes. For a home with 3 units plus the owner’s residence, it was amazingly private. My daughter and I loved to come home from the beach and chill on the patio lounge chairs! I loved it so much that I can’t wait to bring my husband for a couple’s getaway!

This was such an amazing trip. Carolyn was so attentive. We clearly over packed because everything was provided. They thought of everything to make this rental so welcoming. We loved everything! The anniversary cake was a special touch and so delicious! Thank you again Carolyn and Jonathan.

My daughter and I really enjoyed our stay! The place is adorable, perfectly decorated and so clean! Carolyn was the perfect host. She even brought us the most delicious lemon muffins one morning! It’s the perfect location and it was so nice to have the golf cart and bicycles available.

My husband and I came down to have a quick weekend getaway. The property couldn't have been more perfect. I highly recommend renting any of Carolyn's 3 properties. I had one request that I didn't think was an option and she was able to fulfill my request. She went above and beyond when she didn't have to. The location was perfect as well. easy access to the beach as well as restaurants. Carolyn is an AMAZING host and we will return.

We stayed with Carolyn and Jonathan from Sept 7th - 17th and couldn’t be happier. They both made our trip beyond exceptional. We stayed in Suite B for 5 days and suite C for 5 days and both are amazingly clean. The homey touches Carolyn has added are top notch. She literally has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The golf cart and bikes make getting to the beach a breeze. Their place is central to everything which is also a plus. We can’t wait to go back. Thank you so much Carolyn and Jonathan for for letting us stay in both suites when our other VRBO fell through. Without you our vacation may not have happened. This was one of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed at. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay relaxing and worry free. They are so detailed oriented that if we had forgotten something they had it covered. Very accommodating, clean and comfortable suite. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone that wants to be treated like royalty.

Carolyn and Johnathan could teach a master class about being great hosts. The space was immaculate. We raved all week about how perfect a choice we made to stay here. They anticipated every need. They made our stay just perfect.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the “Suite Retreat” for an entire week and absolutely loved every second of it! The hosts were just wonderful and really made us feel like home! They truly went above and beyond to make sure we had the most wonderful vacation. Our Vrbo was quite small, yet perfect for 2 people. It was very clean, orderly, and in a great location on the island. If you’re looking for a nice and quiet getaway, this is the spot!!

5 stars!!!Had an amazing time from the moment we stepped into our suite. We truly felt welcomed and was able to relax and unwind right away. Everything was perfect and completely thought out. Suite was cozy and nicely decorated. Owners are very thoughtful, providing complimentary drinks, snacks and wonderful fresh baked goods. Also, there is a golf cart available which makes getting to the beach quick and easy. If looking for a romantic getaway, you have found it. We will definitely return.

My husband and I were absolutely 100% satisfied with our stay. Everything was perfect. Carolyn and Jonathan were amazing. They really go above and beyond from the homemade baked goods to the use of bikes, beach chairs and umbrella, golf cart, kayaks, etc. If we had a question, they responded right away. They had complimentary stuff available in case you forgot anything. They really thought of everything to make the stay perfect . We highly recommend this place.

This rental was much more representative of a B&B experience than the typical VRBO stay. Many special touches, access to the golf cart, bikes, and beach equipment a big plus, instant responses from owner. Description was very accurate.
