We rented this for our 10 year anniversary. It was us with our 2 large dogs. This cabin was absolutely perfect and we will definitely book it again. The cabin itself was very clean & cozy. We've rented cabins before and they are usually not very clean or have a bug problem, this had neither. The game room was so fun, kitchen had everything you needed, tons of DVDs to watch and plenty of space to make yourself at home. The only thing that could have made it better was a fenced in yard to let the dogs out. You are near the main road but cannot hear any road noise inside the cabin. We can't wait to go back!

From the initial reservation to departure was very simple. Needed assistance with mini-split and problem was resolved quickly. Added additional days to stay without any issues. Cabin maintained well and pleasant. We will planning our future stays here.

We loved the cabin! It was cozy and the fireplace was great! We had a great time in the game room playing games and watching football. Great getaway from Phoenix and plenty to do.

The cabin was amazing. Sadly rain took place over the stay but it was still beautiful.

We stayed in this cute "mountain cabin" while we were up in Heber/Overgaard for a family reunion at Tall Timber Park. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the cleanliness and coziness. Beds were comfortable, cozy blankets, nice fluffy towels, nicley equipped kitchen! We'd definitely stay here again.

We throughly enjoyed ourselves. Very comfortable beds. Cabin is very well stocked! I saw under amenities, that had a Keurig coffee maker. I personally don’t know how to use one. So, I brought my own coffee maker. And they already had a regular coffee maker in the cupboard. Ankit the owner was very accommodating and easy to talk to. Very cozy and comfortable cabin. The garage game room was amazing. We would relax after dinner playing cards. If we had stayed at the Cabin more during the day, we probably would’ve used the game room more. But, it was so nice to be up where it was cooler that we hiked and rode our ATV everyday. I would definitely make other trips to stay in this Cabin again. Thank you Ankit for making our trip so enjoyable!!

This cabin was lovely! The views are so pretty and there is wildlife to see everywhere. If you’re looking for a relaxing place to sit back and enjoy nature, this is the place. The owners have set it up so that you can be super comfortable no matter where you’re hanging out. Even during a hot AZ summer this is a great getaway.

We have done VRBOs several times a year all over the southwest. This cabin hands down the best we’ve been to. Very well stocked, great location and overall just superb,

This property had something for the whole family. Close to cool riding trails and a family friendly game room in the garage. Lots of great games for the kids and adults alike. The property was well supplied and very clean. Will consider renting this one again.

This cabin was absolutely prefect for our mini road trip to the pine.

The game room is a dream for all ages. Our kids spent long into the nights having lots of fun. The fire pit was great, loved the big chairs around it. The cabin was very comfortable and lovely. I loved reading on the rocking chairs on the front porch. The picnic table in the back was wonderful to chill, play games while my husband grilled for us. I loved all the blankets all around the cabin, easy to cozy up any where with one. The beds were very comfortable too. I appreciated having a great stock of towels for the family. We loved our stay here. It is a very beautiful cabin. We hope to return to this exact cabin in the fall.

We loved the cabin, fireplace and game room. At first we couldn’t figure out how to turn on the fireplace but called the owner and he walked us through how to do it and we got it working from then on. We absolutely loved the game room. The beds were cozy and loved the open space to the side of the cabin. It snowed for 2 nights so the kids loved it.

We had a 2 night stay at Snowy Retreat, just my husband and I. Overall, the stay was really nice. Id give it 3.5 stars. A couple things we believe need some attention and felt it was important to share for future guests. Decor and cabin was cute and quaint! It was overall pretty clean and seemed taken care of. Had plenty of kitchen items and linens. We didnt use game room because it is actually in garage (doesnt state that in description)and we thought it would be cold even with heater, but it looked awesome! Cabin is right off the highway. Once inside you didn't notice the noise, but you can if you are sitting on porch or open windows. The master bedroom is actually the loft. Wasn't an issue with just the 2 of us, but privacy would be a concern if we were with other guests. Also, because it is an open plan, all the heat goes to the master and it was uncomfortably hot to the point we couldn't sleep comfortably. Even with fireplace off and thermostat turned down to 60. We did open a window the following night which made a world of difference, but then heard traffic noises. The master bed also is unusually and incredibly noisy. 😯 Property states there is a grill but unfortunately it was in poor shape (rusty and dirty grates) so we couldnt grill. Several of the window shades couldnt open all the way to get the scenery. Make sure you bring ice because there wasnt any in freezer, which could use a little cleaning. Communication with contact person was very good and I feel confident our few issues will be addressed. I'd still recommend a stay st Snowy Retreat as long as guest know these little helpful hints. 😊

We really enjoyed our time there. Overall the place was perfect. The game room in the garage is the best. All the adults were able to play and still be able to watch the children. We would definitely rent again in the future. The communication between the owner was excellent there was some concerns the owner was able to address the issues. The only minor things were regarding the cleanliness of the the house. Not that it wasn't clean but it could be better.

We stayed for the holidays and the place was decorated perfect for us. My family enjoyed the game room, fire pit and cozy cabin.

It was a really nice play to stay. Very cabin feel. Place had a good amount of room and loved the decor. Lots of space heaters if you need them and it was nice to see the wildlife. The only downside was there were cob webs above the bed upstairs in the loft and in the kitchen and the upstairs bathroom’s vent was covered in dust. We would stay here again.

It was one of the better travel experiences we have had. The home was immaculate, well stocked and super cozy! We did didn't want to leave. My husband and I already have talked about renting this cabin again sooner than later

The house was amazing. I wish I had been able to spend more time up there. I had gone to Heber for a wedding. We didn't arrive at the house until almost 3am but it was so easy and the instructions were clear. It was comfortable, clean, cozy and I loved sitting on the deck enjoying my morning coffee before I had to leave for the wedding. I plan to come back to this property for a real visit and using things like the game room and fire pit. We had deer running through the yard Sunday morning before we left. Completely amazing!

We loved our stay at the “Snowy Retreat” definitely going to come back for another visit, but this time with family. Glad this cabin was able to let us feel at home and give us time from the busy city. Great place to rent!

We enjoyed the property inside and out. My family especially liked the game room. The owners made our pet feel welcome and at home. The cabin is clean and cozy. Look forward to staying there again.
