We arrived and had no internet, the yard was overgrown and the outside garbage was not picked up. We had animals around in the neighbors yards and it was a very rural setting. The rental home outside looked abandoned. But we went in and it had no frills decor like a college level dorm house.. The manager/assistant did arrive and picked up the garbage and the grass was cut on day two of our stay. We checked out on day four. Internet was unavailable and unfortunately we paid 199.00 a night which was higher than what was listed. Medicine Park was a great town with creek swimming and good eateries. It was close to FT Sill but this home was very basic and way too expensive for what it offered. Good things about the home were the front porch, back deck, outdoor grills, firm beds and good AC. The manager /assistant, Mikaela, was helpful about what to do in Medicine Park.

Really not much of a Mountain View with all the trees around however they made for great shade and sitting on the back deck and visiting was peaceful. Same with the front porch area! It was perfect for my mother’s 77th birthday get together. The beds were too hard stiff or firm and seating wasn’t adequate for more than a few. It’d been perfect otherwise

There were ants in our rooms, scorpion in the bathroom and a piss stain on the bed. Mattresses are too firm but the property is close to a lot of activities.

The location was perfect for our visit to see our soldier at Ft. Sill. Easy to find, great views. I wish the kitchen was better stocked with cooking utensils &pots & pans but we worked around it. Thankfully we only ended up with 4 people of the 7 we expected to come. Otherwise it would have been way too small.
One of the bathrooms is really small. Deceptive in the pictures. The grass was not cut so it didn't make for a great picnic space when we brought our soldier for lunch. Again, we worked around it.
For the price, location & reason we were there I would recommend it!

The bed and the couches were very uncomfortable, had a hard time cooling the place off but had a really good time with the family at Medicine Park

This place is super cute and clean and very comfortable for 4 to 6 people. Be advised that the beds are very firm, so if you like that great, but I like a softer bed. I cannot speak to the comfort of the futons. We didn't use them. The listing says sleeper sofas, but they are futons. We had a little bit of trouble finding the house, because the pictures are yellow, but the house is now red. There is no eating area for more than two people, so you have to spread out between the kitchen table, the bar, the living room, or outside patio. The back deck is very pleasant and I loved the hammock swing! Overall, a nice place to say for a small group if you're not going to spend a lot of time at the house.

This was a cute little house. The website needs to be updated. This house is not yellow but now red and
there is no fireplace but a fire pit. We really enjoyed feeding the friendly pony and donkey next door. For the price, this is perfect. Fun things to do in town and good places to eat.

The place smelled awful. No kitchen table to seat six people. The manager offered our money back or trade places. We think she knew it smelled bad offering our money back right away. We traded places to a cabin to sleep 10. The only way it sleeps six was for part of us to sleep on the floor. The second place was clean and we had a table to play cards on.

We enjoyed the outdoor spaces, the bathrooms were small, but adequate. It was a cozy space and the kids loved being greeted by the pony and donkey in the morning.

The photos online show the house as yellow but it is actually red. The beds are hard, the bathrooms are very small and don’t have anywhere to store hygiene products. The bath tub is very slippery. House actually sleeps 8 not 10 as there are 3 queen beds and two futons. It is conveniently located close to medicine Park and Lawton. It wa nice to be greeted every morning by the pony and donkey next door, bring apples if you can, they love them.

It was listed for 10 people but it is very small unless you have all small people. It has only a mini fridge for the kitchen, pots and pans very minimal and old. One of the bathrooms is so small you can hardly turn around. The living room only has accommodations for five to set. No table or chairs for eating. Not in walking distance of anything.

I booked for a day. Upon arrival within the area, I contacted the owner to report that I did not receive the key yet, and I had no way to get in. He reported to me that the room was somehow double-booked, and that unfortunately, I would not get the room that I prepaid for, but that I would get a full refund.

The location was very good. You could walk to town. There were three bedrooms and two bathrooms but there was no washer or dryer and the refrigerator was too small for the size of the house and food storage. Furniture was what you would find in a college based apartment or frat house.

Nice Place out in the Country
We enjoyed our stay. It was a small but comfortable house, fairly clean, kind of old, but comfortable and safe. We were there for an event in Lawton, but Medicine Park is delightful. I would gladly stay there again.

Perfect place to fit our needs
The location to everything we wanted to do was perfect. We had lots of space and all of the comforts of home. We really enjoyed sitting on the front and back porches and enjoying the scenery. It made for an excellent Easter weekend.

Convenient Location
Location was very close to downtown Medicine Park, but far enough away we weren’t kept up at night. Overall, house was clean and functional, but the urine smell was intense. The candles and scents throughout the house were not enough to mask the smell. The back deck was the highlight. Overall a good one night stay.

Medicine park - fall
Quiet and close to both town and nature preserve. Some of the physical features of the interior were a bit odd, including the 2nd bathroom which is comically tight. However, everything was clean and functional. No complaints

This property was such a great place to stay! We were visiting for Army National Guard Fort Sill graduation and this was perfect! Not too far from where we needed to be and it was in a very quiet location. The house was very nice! The perfect amount of room for all of us! I would definitely recommend for anyone looking to stay in the Lawton area.

My daughter, husband and I stayed at the house for Fort Sill Family day/graduation. It was such a great stay. Clean, neat & organized. We loved the back porch!! I would recommend this house!!

Overnight OK History Trip
Unique older, but upgraded house close to town. Great little Keurig! Enjoyed our dinner at Riverside Cafe and our visits to Ft. Sill and Wichita Wildlife Refuge. If you have a chance, don't miss the interactive Great Plains Museum and the Red River Trading Post in Lawton.

My teen age granddaughter and her friend had a great time. Easy time to get to medicine park shops and restaurants. Close to Lawton . House was very clean and cute. Would rent again.

Quite Getaway
The location was perfect for us 6. We were able to visit Mt. Scott, Parallel Forest, Holy City and the Wichita Wildlife Refuge. We rode our bikes to Medicine park and roasted dinner over the campfire . The cottage was clean and my family loved feeding the ponies. The deck in the back was a pleasant surprise. Overall, it was a successful trip.
