The property has a main house & a guest house. It is located at the end of a quiet bay on Rush Lake, which is part of the Whitefish chain of lakes. Manhattan Beach Lodge, The Wharf and Moonlight Bay are all within a short boating distance for dockside eating & drinking. Aoout a 10 minute drive to downtown Crosslake businesses. We saw deer, muskrat, ducks, great blue heron & loons daily, one day the loons came within 100 feet of our dock. Caught numerous small sun fish & crappie & a smallmouth bass from the dock on a catch & release basis, and saw a small northern pike. The house is up a good size hill from the beach and requires going up stairs to exit the house so you get a good amount of exercise if that is an issue. Nice quiet wooded street.

This property is beautiful, the cleanest property I have every experienced! It had everything you would need. The town of Cross Lake has wonderful restaurants and Reeds Market is a well stock grocery store close by. I would give this property a 5 star rating.

What else does a family need? Cozy, modern, lake home that’s a short drive to downtown Crosslake and its amenities. A bathtub for dirty little kids. Five-star communicative host. Applause all around.

Our family enjoyed the cabin and guest house and the great location on a quiet bay. The dock was excellent and we enjoyed boating the chain on lakes with all the great restaurant options!

Super clean, nice quiet property. Owner was easy to get a hold of and quickly addressed the air conditioning and power outage issue we ran into. We brought our bedside bassinet for my infant son and it fit well in the master suite. We brought a canoe, some kayaks, and a jet ski. The lake was very clean and we were able to do some fishing right off of the dock.

Our family enjoyed our stay tremendously. It’s a great location. The cabin was clean and well stocked. Christina was a wonderful host, excellent communicator. We will book again.

This home was everything we were hoping for! All our kids and grand kids fit perfectly. It was very clean and in a great location. The host was very communicatice. We saw deer and other resident wildlife every day. We will definitely be back!!

We booked this idyllic property for a family gathering and could not have been more pleased. Dealing with our host was easy and responses were quick. (Not that we needed anything!) The location, weather and views were wonderful. The house was just what we needed for our gathering. If we were ever to come this way again we could certainly book here again.

Our group of 5 was very comfortable in main cabin. 2 more could have joined us in bunk house. Property Mgrs do great job w communication and expectations. GREAT location on Whitefish chain of lakes. Overall EXCELLENT

The Stone Cabin was a great vacation spot for our family! The weather was perfect and our time there was peaceful. We were scheduled to arrive a few days after a storm hit and knocked out power to the area, and Christina did a great job of keeping us updated and offering flexibility for our stay. We enjoyed the lake views, fire pit, and homey cabin.

We loved our stay at this cabin for a weekend Winter getaway with my family. Christina was a great host with prompt responses and great help. We're already looking to next winter to book another weekend. The master bedroom allowed for a pack n play for my niece, the other rooms were cozy with queen beds and enough room to walk around. It worked great for what we needed. We'll be back! 😃

We always find it hard to slow down and love in the moment. This cabin was perfect for us—watching dear, walking on the lake and sitting by the fire playing games. Cozy and comfortable for all.

We booked for a celebratory weekend with a very close work team. The home is so enjoyable with sweet decor touches and a great kitchen to hang in and cook together.

This cute lake property is exactly as advertised. Perfect location, clean, well stocked, and Christina was a terrific host. Would highly recommend this spot for a family or friends getaway.

We couldn’t possibly be happier with our stay at the cabin for 3 days with family and friends! The owner was super responsive with any questions we had and also kept us updated on storm warnings, fire warnings etc ahead of our trip. They’ve clearly spent a lot of time and money updating the space and making it comfortable for the guests. The kitchen was well equipped, bedrooms great and just overall it was a great getaway! The only downside is the beach itself is pretty small and full of weeds. It wasn’t exactly inviting for the little kids to get in and play in the water. Overall, we had a wonderful time!

The water had a funky smell at the guest house, but nice to have something separate for people who sleep in/stay up late! The main house is kind of small to accomodate a large number of guests wanting to gather in one space at one time since there is only 1 couch and no dining table. Clean, updated, nice location, great host otherwise!

A beautiful and quiet place. We really enjoyed our stay and had such a nice time fishing off the dock, swimming in the warm clear water and just relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. The lake is lovely with quite a private setting. Lots of beautiful trees on the property. We really enjoyed sitting out on the deck and looking out on the lake. I loved all of the bird songs in the morning, especially the occasional loons. The house and guest house were very clean, cool and beds were very comfortable. Both were well stocked with everything.. Thank you so much for making our family reunion so special.

Amazing location, right in the middle of the whitefish chain with easy access to all of the hot spots and amenities. Loved all that this place had to offer and Christina was a great, communicative host!

Very nicely appointed and stocked. Nice appliances and bathrooms. Super clean. We will definitely return. There’s a reason there is almost no availability, I’m sure people return all the time. Dock was good for docking boat, maybe 3/4 feet deep at the end.

Our family rented from July 3-9. It was amazing. The cabin and guesthouse were just perfect for us. The view from the deck was awesome. The owner was very responsive to our questions. Will be back. Michele

We loved our stay at Stone Cabin! First of all, Christina was so accommodating and responsive! The house is adorable and clean. The guest suite was perfect for our teenagers! The views were amazing and the dock was great for our pontoon rental. The location could not have been better. Easy access to all the lakes on the chain! Highly recommend staying here and enjoying all that lake life has to offer!

We had a fantastic stay at the Stone Cabin on Rush! Walking into the kitchen or main living space and the view of the lake outside is stunning. The remodel work looks great with many modern upgrades, some of which gave us ideas for our own home! Our family stayed comfortably in the main cabin and the grandparents thoroughly enjoyed staying the in the guest cabin which was a perfect setup given we have 3 kids under the age of 6! It's such a great location and love the southern exposure- provides ample shade in the summer afternoons when it is hot. We found great sandy beaches and sandbars along various islands (less than 5 minute boat ride) on Rush Lake for great swimming and enjoyed boating to Moonlite Bay and The Wharf! Our kids also had a great time pulling in many sunnies around the islands, and perch in the bay the cabin is on. A sunset cruise on Lower Whitefish is a must! We really appreciated the filtered drinking water and thought it was a nice touch to include laundry detergent for your guests to use. We had a great experience here and definitely recommend it to anyone. Christina was an above and beyond host too with excellent communication! We forgot something in the cabin when we left and she was so kind to bring it back to the Twin Cities and meet me to give me the forgotten item. Thank you Christina!

We had a wonderful one week stay at this property! It had all of the modern conveniences of home (new kitchen, laundry, air, Netflix) coupled with up North charm. Three comfortable bedrooms in the main cabin and two nicely updated baths made our family very comfortable while the guest suite over the garage was perfect for my husband to work uninterrupted all week, while our children and I slept in and played at the main cabin. THE LOCATION THO- perfectly nestled between the rush channel to whitefish and the wharf channel to restaurants and Cross, made it the perfect place to tie up our boat and be on our way exploring the chain! The beach has some weeds, but my kids didn’t mind and with the unseasonably hot weather, that’s just part of lake life! Be prepared to play games or take meals outdoors as there is no dining table, but the kitchen island offers ample seating while you look out at a million dollar view! Home very clean, beautiful lake views. Wonderful spacious deck and plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the scenery! The water had an abnormal odor when showering, but the fridge had filtered water for drinking.

By the pictures it looks like a nice swimming beach, but that was decieving. Unfortunately we were there the hottest weekend of the season and the window AC didn't cool the entire home. We did have a great time ☺️. It's a beautiful place. Thank you!
