We have been coming to this property once a year for the last four years. The location and the property are both awesome. We have had numerous conversations with the owners. They have been exceedingly nice. I highly recommend this rental and plan on more rentals in the future.

This house is so charming! They have thought of everything. Super easy to live in and off the beach. The porch is the main feature. We spent hours and hours watching the waves roll in and our family playing. The host is super responsive and so easy to deal with! Book this one quick. It won't last. We will be back.

Great location. Close enough to walk to town and restaurants, but far enough from the weekend crowds. House is immaculate. Everything you need is there for cooking, towels, beach games, etc. Inside and outside the house looks brand new. The covered porch is a great bonus for family gatherings.

I grew up going to Topsail but always stayed on the sound side; so, after a long hiatus, I decided to bring my husband, two toddlers, brother, mom, and in-laws back to the island for a week. This house was perfect for all of us -- it was spacious, allowed for easy access to the beach for the littles and an amazing, covered porch for the grandparents. Emily and her family had everything ready for us upon arrival and the guidebook was so helpful! Check in and communication were super easy. Looking forward to more summers at this lovely home.

This place is great! They have everything you need or could think of. Great location. Beach foot steps away makes everything so accessible. Emily was great she checked on us made sure all was good and really made everything perfect! We will stay again,

This was a wonderful stay for our whole family. There was enough space for everyone. Open family gathering space. Updated kitchen and bathrooms plus another family living space, kitchen, bedroom and bath on the lower level. Spectacular location with beautiful sunrises. Emily was very responsive to any questions or issue and a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely want to stay here again.

Great house! Deck was only a few short steps to the beach- felt like being on the deck of a cruise ship! View from living area was the BEST! Very comfortable home with tons of amenities. Wound definitely recommend!!

Our family had the pleasure of staying in the beautiful Lifesaver Beach House and were impressed by not only the fantastic condition of the home, but also the amazing views. From checkin to checkout everything was flawless. Being steps from the ocean made our stay so much easier and more relaxing. The wonderful hosts provide everything you need and are so attentive. Emily checked in with us several times just to make sure we were happy and enjoying our stay. We rented bikes (very reasonably priced) and our teens agreed it was fun to be able to bike to lunch, ice cream, sunset, pier, dinner, etc. We love the location of this home because it is direct oceanfront, away from any busy roads, yet close to everything. If you are looking for a fabulous experience from beginning to end, make sure to stay at Lifesaver Beach House. You will not be disappointed!

We booked a week to celebrate our oldest son's college graduation & our youngest son's high school graduation. We allowed them to each invite friends. Everything about this place was awesome and first rate! We had all the 18-to-19-year old's staying in the lower level & the older ones 21 to 22 with us on the main level. The location on the beach is the best. The views from the covered porch and main upper living area were like being on the beach and the access was just up and down one set of stairs. We ended up with 10 people & the main living & eating areas never felt crowded. Great design & layout! Nice quiet location & very uncrowded beach area. Hosts were great, everything was virtually brand new & supper clean. Fully equipped as advertised down to the beach chairs & towels. The boys loved the ping pong table! On the few occasions that we went out, we enjoyed the places that we went to and ate. Can't say enough good things about this house & the beach community that it is in. One of our best beach vacations ever!

We had the most wonderful week. The house was so clean and gorgeously renovated! The kitchen had everything we needed and our family was able to spread out comfortably between the upstairs and the downstairs. The access to the beach is unbeatable (our very elderly grandparents had some trouble traversing the bottom of the stairs there but really to be expected). The location of the place was also perfect, easily walkable or driveable to anything in surf city proper! Overall we loved our stay and would come back in a heartbeat.

This houses had it all! Emily and family thought of EVERYTHING! From the moment you walked in you knew you were in for a treat. From the wall to wall windows with endless views of the ocean, the well stocked kitchen, all the beach gear you would ever need and they even had your toiletries in the bathrooms! Being steps from the ocean made our beach vacation easy! We had 6 teens with us and they never ran out of things to do- biking, ocean kayaking, ping pong, just hanging out on the deck, walks on the beach- they stayed busy all week. You will not be disappointed with a stay at Lifesaver in Surf City. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!

The word to describe this property is “thoughtful”. So many extra amenities that you usually don’t see in beach rentals. Beach & bath towels, shampoos/soap/conditioner, linens, TP, paper towels, beach chairs, toys, etc etc. you can tell the owners just love topsail and want you to love it too! Kitchen equipment was super nice and clean. Beds were comfy. We were a family of 10, 6 adults (3 couples) two 4 yr olds and a baby. The location was awesome, you could walk everywhere and can’t beat the deck! Grilled almost every night and loved the ping pong table. Host was SUPER nice and easy to communicate with. Really, lovely property.

I can’t say enough good things about our stay at Lifesaver. We come to Topsail every year and this one has been the best yet. Clean and beautifully decorated, best sheets ever, cute gift basket, and more beach toys and chairs than we could possible need. Just bring your clothes and you are good to go! Owners were prompt and so sweet. The game room was well used with our crowd. Great location and beautiful views. Thank you Emily and the Flier family.

Great little house right ON the beach. Like high tide is 30 feet from the steps on the beach. Nice deck with deck chairs, and sunny and shady spots. This house has lots of beach chairs, and all the boogie boards and beach toys you could want. All toys and stuff is neatly labeled and organized in the garage. Also in the garage is a ping pong table in good condition, which we enjoyed the heck out of! The kitchen has a great supply of utensils, plates, dishes, pots and pans, and serving plates. It could use some sharper knives, but I think that’s true of every beach house. Hosts provided soap, paper, coffee filters, towels, everything you don’t want to have to bring. The house is not big, but it was fine for our large group. Renovated this year it looks like, everything is clean and in good shape. 5/5, would rent again!

This property was recently renovated and is even better than the pictures indicate! The house is directly on the beach with the water just steps away. The porch has plenty of seating and both direct sunlight and shade which is a huge plus. Many of the neighboring beach houses had "full sun" porches which meant they had to haul tents and chairs to the beach to create shade. This house provides you both options and maximized our ability to stay outside all day. The house was spotless. The kitchen and living area is large with big windows and great views. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very nice. In addition to a great renovation, what sets this place apart is the owners. They do a lot of the little things that make it easier on the renter. They provided beach towels, paper products, dish and laundry detergent. They also provided a booklet of recommended restaurants and activities, a Kanban board to track your progress and a welcome gift. Our family had a great time and we would both highly recommend this property and return for another visit.

Wonderful experience! Excellent communication with the owners, perfect oceanfront spot, beautiful home and many fun activities for all ages, in the area. We hope to be back again! We miss it already.

I can’t say enough about this beautiful place. Our family had an amazing time at the Lifesaver in Surf City. Everything about this house was perfect for us! Beautifully renovated and well equipped with everything you need. Also, the community offers so many wonderful things. We especially loved Island Brothers Catering and TopSail Steamer for providing our delicious meals, at a very reasonable cost, and conveniently located. This allowed us to eat at the house and enjoy the spectacular view of the ocean from the table, and avoid the long waits at restaurants. It was a win, win! We were thankful for the list the owner gave us for popular dinner options such as these, as well as things to do. We will be back! If you’re looking for a beach rental and want an exceptional experience, Lifesaver will not disappoint!

This property is fantastic for a beach week. The owners are extremely responsive and a pleasure to communicate with. Brand new and luxurious inside with many items available to enjoy the beach including chairs, boards, games, ping pong table in garage, etc. Very clean and beautiful patio with many chairs for the whole family. The views are amazing and the beach is fairly quiet with plenty of space in this area as opposed to further down which gets crowded! We really enjoyed it!

The Lifesaver is a home that’s in pristine condition and every amenity that you could possibly need has been thought of and provided in advance. If I had read my guidebook more thoroughly there are countless items I could have left at home. The location is perfect, we were looking for a fairly quiet, peaceful vibe, but in easy walking or driving distance to restaurants and shops. The bedding was so comfortable I found myself looking for tags so I could place an order when I get back to Wisconsin…needless to say, I slept like a baby. I can’t say enough about the attention to detail and cleanliness of this property. There’s an excellent selection of cookware, crockpot, silverware laundry soap, spices, chargers for electronic devices and so forth. II sent an email to our host when I couldn’t locate CNN on the TV and the response was prompt. We had an issue with our air conditioner which had been newly installed and the response was immediate. A repair person came and replaced a coiled and he stayed to insure it was cooling properly before leaving. During the course of this situation, our host was in contact with us multiple times to insure everything was going according to plan and graciously provided dinner for our family for the inconvenience. There was an excellent selection of beach toys, chairs, umbrella and I particularly enjoyed beating my husband and children at ping pong. We’ve found our happily place at the beach and even my husband wants to book for next summer. If you are considering the Lifesaver, you can’t go wrong with this property, it’s all that the hosts say it is and more.

My family and I just spent a week at the Lifesaver property and this place was amazing! The property was spotless, the views were spectacular, and the beach is right out your door. The house has everything you need. We had 5 small children with us and they enjoyed every minute of it. We love this beach and will definitely vacation here again soon.

Fabulous home right on the beach! We had 7 adults with plenty of room for more people. The house is newly renovated- the owners did a great job! The porch and the view!!! I would give you ten stars if I could. The attention to detail was awesome from the chargers in the bedrooms, to a fully stocked kitchen, notes with directions and our welcome gift! Just pack your swimwear and bring your friends and family. It was nice to have beach chairs, beach towels and games. Big plus was having nice beds to sleep in. I would recommend staying here!
