This property was the perfect spot for a girls weekend!! A short drive from San Antonio made it the perfect spot for a getaway. We had 6 adults and all had great accommodations in the home and thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the pool/hot tub each day. The dining table was the perfect spot for a large charcuterie board! Short drive from all the wineries on 290 and Fredricksburg. The host was fantastic and offered great communication.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this home in Johnson City. I had always driven through on my way to Fredericksburg or Austin who knew there was great restaurants and live music and the most amazing view of the stars from the hot tub at night. The house is spotless and well appointed. There was a lot of thought and attention to detail that really makes your stay comfortable. The price is unbelievable compared to similar properties in either Autin or Fredericksburg. Don't miss out this it is a great alternative, and you can actually enjoy both if you choose to make a day trip in either direction.

We enjoyed our stay at this nice home in JC. Easy access to restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance. Christmas lights at Pedernales electric co-op were stunning. Nice launch point to wine country! Plenty of room for large groups. The large fenced in back yard was perfect for our dog. New pool and hot tub look nice though we didn't avail ourselves of them. Owner was responsive to questions before/during the stay. We anticipated patio furniture with a gas fire pit as depicted in the property listing at time of booking, however, those are no longer in place. There is one recent pic showing the new pool/hot tub that doesn't show the furniture/pit. A classic fire pit requiring wood (purchasable nearby) is available in the corner of the yard (no furniture around it). It would have been nice to have the former setup but it didn’t diminish our stay. It’s just something to be aware of if that is what you are expecting. We’d stay here and in this area again!

I have stayed in this house twice now and it is fantastic! The house is beautifully appointed with all the comforts of home. The owners have done a great job of providing everything to make your stay wonderful, including a fully stocked kitchen, great bathrooms with bath soaps, pool towels and so much more. I highly recommend this property!!

This beautiful home is in a great location for exploring the Hill Country! Very close to fantastic wineries, restaurants, and more. The home was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed to relax and cook a great meal. We look forward to visiting again!

We had a great time at Lee’s place. Communicating with Lee was super easy and always answered my questions within 10 minutes! Great owner!! The home looks exactly like it does in the pictures, very clean and has everything you need! The backyard fire pit and chairs is a great place to gather and enjoy cocktails. The neighborhood is very conveniently located to the Main Street restaurants, shops and wineries. Would absolutely recommend to stay there!

Although there are brief online guidelines, perhaps a physical book with printed guidelines and operating instructions for thermostat, TV system, recycling criteria would be helpful.

We were unable to watch anything due to buffering and I had to use a hotspot for some work requirements. The backyard is great and the location is close to everything, would stay again.

We booked this property to serve as a launchpad for a weekend in Texas Wine Country. The home was beautifully furnished, well outfitted, and in a fantastic location. Honestly, it was so comfortable that some days it was a struggle to leave and go on our outings. The layout is great for a group of people. The house feels like it is centered on the main living space. It let us cook, visit, and watch TV collectively without feeling crowded. The dining room was well suited to daily use and the table was meant for board games. The bedrooms were perfect. Far enough away from each other to give privacy but still close enough to the central area for people to smell breakfast cooking in the morning. Its location near the heart of Johnson City really meant that we were only a few blocks away from restaurants, shopping, and wine tasting rooms. We were pleasantly surprised that a nearby brewery was having a pop-up market on the Saturday of our visit and ended up staying in Johnson City more than hitting the wineries on Highway 290. Any complaints were trivial. The internet is a little bit slow, which can make watching TV on the Roku laggy. The pots and pans are a little small, so plan to bring larger cooking vessels if you have more than a group of 5. Otherwise, there were few things that we could complain about. Lee was very easy to contact and super responsive. We're already talking about a return visit. Thanks for making this trip amazing.
