This property was perfect for our family vacation. It was clean, well appointed and a wonderful location with amazing views. We loved waking up to breakfast watching the waves crash. The location right next to a beach and walkable to Kona restaurants and shopping made for a convenient and fun trip. The pool isn’t huge, but very well kept and perfect for our two elementary aged kids to frolic in. The two bedrooms and two bathrooms of the condo plus beautiful kitchen and eating/living area was perfect. We hope to stay here again in future!

We have stayed at Kona reef several times, but this is the first time we have stayed in this unit. The views are spectacular not to mention this unit is a gem. The unit is stocked with anything you could possibly need. The kitchen is conveniently stocked with all necessities for cooking. Going to the beach is a breeze with all the provided amenities of beach, chairs, boogie boards, etc. The condo is absolutely beautifully maintained and aesthetically decorated. We will most definitely becoming back for our next trip.

Super happy with our choice to stay here!
Place itself is great! Renovated kitchen and living area looks nice and had space for the 4 of us to separate a bit from each other, with lots of windows and natural light because corner unit. Amenities are plentiful. We planned to, but never made it to the pool since we were out on excursions or preferred to sit on patio and watch the waves or sit in the sun.
Location was great for walking to get Acai bowls for brunch, Snorkel Bob's rentals, shopping, or dinner. Only used car for excursions. Parking in garage kept car cool and secure.
Side windows of condo face Honl's Beach with activities to participate in or watch, such as yoga, boarding competitions, and regular beach activities. You can also watch the waves, boarders, and surfers out front. We didn't let our inexperienced son board in that area because of all the rocks under water, but it was an almost constant activity of locals riding the waves all day and evening. The waves themselves were wonderful to watch and listen to. The sunsets from the patio were also beautiful.
Communications were clear and everything was great, didn't need to contact owners/management for anything. We stayed in 3 condos and this place was all of our favorites. Being right on the water, next to an active beach, and walking distance to restaurants and shopping added to the fun of our visit. I highly recommend!

Perfectly located, just as expected, beautiful decor, great communication! Such a nice complex, walkable to shops and restaurants. All of the amenities we needed were there.

We have stayed at Kona Reef for many years. This was the first time in this room. The location is perfect, the accommodations were neat and clean just as pictured. It is right next to the beach, walking distance to downtown area on Ali drive. Loved our stay, and cannot wait to book again!!

Location and the unit was spectacularly decorated. Kitchen had everything we needed and we spent lots of time out on the front porch watching whales and dolphins swim by. Highly recommend

This location is central to just about everything fun to do, and coming back home to it was always a pleasure. Beautifully appointed with everything to make our stay comfortable, a scenic beach next door, the sea and magnificent sunsets right in front of our lanai. We never did use the pool and hot tub but they are there also. We were here last year, loved it so much we came back, and plan to return again next year as well.

Property was perfect for our family of four and our week stay on the Big Island. Location is perfect right next to Honls Beach. We started each morning with yoga on the beach and listening to the waves crashing while enjoying a cup of coffee on the lanai. Our teens loved being able to make the short walk into town and explore the shops of Kailua Kona. Thanks for an amazing stay and we would definitely come back.

Bills place was perfect. Walkable to all the local restaurants and shops. There’s a beautiful beach right next door and a view of surfers everyday. The house had everything we needed to include beach chairs, towels, coolers, small amount of dish and laundry soap, and snorkel gear. Check in was super easy and Bill gave great directions.

This unit at Kona Reef was exceptional and i would recommend it highly. The location right on the ocean provided excellent views of the sunset and is close to the pool. The pictures were spot on and we look forward to going back! Mahalo

The view and access to a sandy beach is unbeatable. Quick walk to downtown restaurants and shopping. The condo had everything you might need, beach chairs, yoga mats, fully equipped kitchen, and the perfect lanai to watch the sunrise and sunset.
Communication with the owner was great with all the information you could need at just the right time.
Everything was as just as described.

Great property, great location. Very morning was beautiful and wonderful sounds of the ocean. Kids could play in front of the condo or at the beach next to it and we could still see them. It was perfect. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved staying in this corner unit! The views were great and the place was well stocked with beach gear and snorkeling equipment so we could snorkel at the beach right outside our window. Great restaurants were in walking distance and the sunsets were beautiful!

My family and I enjoyed our stay a lot. The location is great with walking distance to all the town of Kona has to offer. The beach next door is small but beautiful with lots of sea lives to be discovered with snorkeling. The condo was stocked up with normal amenities plus abundant of beach supplies. Will sure to book again during our next visit!

The place was clean, well stocked and perfectly located for our family. Being a corner unit you really get a full view of the water. The place is exactly as described and as seen on the pictures. The unit is well decorated (the dining room table and master shower were also cool). Will recommend and would stay again.

Our party of 4 enjoyed this property fully. The location provided great sunset views, easy access to the beach next door and ocean in front as well as an easy walk into town. Inside, the condo was well stocked with kitchen gear, water toys, beach chairs and umbrella… everything you could need to explore the island. It was everything we’d hoped it would be.

The condo was everything we had hoped for - great views out the expansive windows, easy walk to restaurants and shops in town, very comfortable and updated inside. Condo had every amenity, including all the kitchen equipment we could want, beach toys, chairs and cooler. Very relaxing sitting on the patio sofa watching the waves and boogie boarders. Bill was a great host and available to answer any questions. Will definitely bookmark it for our next trip to Kona!

What a stunning condo! We walked into a clean, beautifully furnished condo with sweeping views of the ocean which was about 10 years away. Every room was well equipped and comfortable. My favorite room was the lanai where I could wave and people watch. We were only minutes always from delicious food and about a mile away from a designated open ocean swim area. Bill was great to work with. He quickly and kindly responded to all my questions before and during our trip. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. We will certainly be back.

The property manager was very attentive and maintained great communication. He messaged me a couple days prior to our stay to inform us that the AC was not working. A new system was installed within 24 hours of check-in. The property was clean, well maintained and had all the necessary amenities, including equipment to use for water sports. A1 unit is a wonderful corner, ground floor unit with an amazing view of the ocean and adjacent to the small beach. Beds were comfortable too. Would recommend.

Kona Gem
Great Kona Condo Gem with a great location!! Awesome amenities including beach gear with a beautiful view of the ocean and little beach right next door. Short walk to town for shopping and dining.
Unfortunately, we discovered the Air Conditioning wasn't working after day two of our stay causing us uncomfortable sleeping conditions at night due to our concern about leaving the windows open at night. This was because of the many homeless people on the beach next to and just outside the condo.
Bill did communicate that the AC parts were on order prior to our stay and the previous guests had reported issues with the AC in the living room leading us to believe that the AC was broken prior to our stay. It was not able to be repaired while we were there. We would have been more understanding if this had been communicated up front.
Bill did issue us a partial credit for our stay due to the inconvenience at our request after our stay which was appreciated.

Incredible location, best unit, total relaxation!
This place is a little “slice of Heaven on earth!” Easy walk to everything, and steps to the ocean. The little beach right next door is peaceful and calm, and condo itself is the best one in the building. The owners thought of everything, and we were totally relaxed from day one! Rent a car, there is much to see and do on this Island, but coming back to this place at sunset was the best bonus for us! We Loved every minute and will be back to choose this place above any other! Thank you Bill.

Top Notch rental
This property is just as beautiful as the pictures show. Being right on the ocean and the views from the condo are breathtaking. You can definitely tell the pride of ownership in this unit. We saw some turtles and fish while sitting on the lanai. The location is superb as you can walk to many things within minutes. We walked to Coconut Grove shopping center many times as well as Huggo's, the Royal Kona resort, and all down Ali'i drive for shopping and dining. The Kona trolley is easy to catch as well right out at Honl's beach or Coconut Grove.
The condo was super clean and the decor and attention to detail inside was amazing. We were very happy with the closet full of chairs, cooler, snorkel gear, etc. The beds were all very comfy. We were also very impressed with how everything was fool proof and labeled as far as light switches, fans, tv, etc.
Bill was beyond attentive and responsive to anything we needed. The check in and out process was a breeze. I would absolutely recommend this condo and it was the nicest place I've stayed at on Kona and I'm sad I'm not sitting outside enjoying my coffee right now on the lanai while planning another day in paradise.

Simply Amazing
Bill was the best host. Very accommodating. His place was beautiful, had everything we needed for a family of 6 including snorkel gear. Right by a private beach, also has a great pool and hot tub. Close to just about everything. Short walk to a great town with food and shopping. A++++ all day long. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful Beachfront
Beautifully appointed property from the sea blue dishes to the restful room colors and unique ceilings of rattan (I believe) and comfortable furniture and modern kitchen appliances. The ocean waves are right outside the sliding doors, what a treat. Fun to watch the surfers and sunsets. This place is a real gem. Parking is super easy in the garage. Bill is easy to work with. Highly recommend this rental.

Best location and unit in Kailua-Kona!
A quick 5 minute walk to downtown where there is endless shops and restaurants to explore.
The unit itself is fully stocked. Lots of beach gear and all the other amenities you would ever need. I loved how it had a useful items left behind from previous guests that others will use (spices, charge cables etc). It is the most comfortable condo I’ve stayed at on the Hawaiian islands. High end. The patio furniture was my favourite. The interior is modern but still has a Hawaiian feel to it. The sound system is awesome. You’ll see whales, dolphins, turtles & crabs from the comfort of the lanai. The beach is right outside your window which is great for people watching and is nice for quick, easy access.
Big thanks to Bill for being such a wonderfully pleasant owner to deal with. I wish they were all like him!!

What a gorgeous view. We loved watching the waves, whales, and surfers from the dining table and lanai. Gorgeous for sunset, central location. Well equipped kitchen, comfy space. Bill was extremely responsive and helpful. We loved our stay.

Gorgeous place!
Very beautifully decorated place and you thought of every amenity possible! Next to beach which is great for watching the surfers and seeing the shoreline. Walking distance to numerous shops and restaurants. Loved waking in the morning and walking down the street for coffee. Very active community with lots going on.
