We thoroughly enjoyed our first vacation as a family of 3 (and fur baby too!) The house was very cozy and wonderfully decorated. We were extremely impressed by how clean and stocked it was too. You can tell a lot of time and love went into planning each detail. We felt very much “at home”! The location/neighborhood was great. John was an exceptional host, very responsive and even accommodated an early check in for us which made traveling with a baby much easier. Would definitely recommend/visit again!

The cabin was clean and had every amenity you can think of. Beds were comfortable. Overall we had a terrific stay. John was extremely helpful throughout the process.

Perfect cabin! We came to town for a birthday getaway with our 5 year old son and our dog. This cabin was everything we were looking for! Beautiful decor, comfortable beds, TVs in every room, close proximity to Lake Harmony & the restaurants, and we loved having the fire pit for s’mores at night. Thank you John, we will definitely be coming back!

As with all the other reviews I have to say the house is super well decorated. You are instantly cozy. The location has a campground feel with all the luxury of being in a house. The couches and beds are comfy. The walk to split rock was very cool. The hot tub was excellent. The surrounding food options are a little lackluster but it’s hard to compare to outstanding food in NJ. I would not miss Bushkill falls. It was an hour away but worth it. The falls at the nearby state park we’re pretty too. I was not clear that we would not have access to the split rock amenities but it was no big deal because the state park was 20 minutes away and there was plenty to do. Don’t forget to stop by Jim Thorpe. Thanks to our host for supplying many items to make us feel at home. We cannot wait to come back in the fall.

We came to PA to finally bury my grandma next to my grandpa. My mother is in wheelchair & I needed to find her a place that was accessible. This place was perfect. John was so wonderful to take measurements so I could make sure her chair would fit through the doors. He was very responsive. And the cabin was adorable & had everything we needed. We all enjoyed the hot tub & the backyard. If I ever get back up there, I would chose this cabin again.

Cabin Crunch is special! So much attention to detail. The home is designed very well. Clean, and stocked with many items to make your stay convenient. (Soap, shampoo/conditioner, laundry detergent to wash your clothes. Plenty of towels and many spices, oils & pots and dishes) the hot tub was AMAZING! The bunk bed room was a hit with our girls! The location was very woodsy but not private. You have neighbors all around. It’s a community. Not a deal breaker for me but my husband would have preferred a more secluded location. Not a problem but wanted to share, because we thought it would be more remote. But the community is quiet and the local restaurants were great! We also went to Boulder Field and it was amazing! John was a great host. Very attentive. Everything went smoothly. I recommend Cabin Crunch.

A perfect place for a quiet cozy winter weekend. Did some hiking during the day and enjoyed cocktails by the wood burning fireplace at night. Love the decor and the house was spotless. Excited to come back in the summer/fall.

Such a beautiful property, inside and out. The decor is inviting, the hot tub was hot and ready, and the host John was available during our stay to answer our questions. We had such a great time and will definitely recommend and come back.

Everything was considered and provided for. We lacked only a brownie pan (which I’m sure John will remedy promptly!). We arrived in a snowstorm and the temps never did get up to the double digits during our stay, which made the hiking I had planned not so appealing. The house is in a lovely gated community, but I thought it would be more remote by the listing. Beautiful place to stay.

My wife, friends and I had a blast at Cabin Crunch. The hot tub was a blast in the cooler fall days. As well as the indoor fire place. We definitely will be returning in the future.

Cabin Crunch is an updated cabin with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Very nicely decorated with beds and furniture that are very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked. It was great being able to bring our dogs. I would definately stay again.

This is an amazingly lovely home. I never wanted to leave. It feels like a spa with all the touches added. The decor is beautiful and it feels like the owners thought of everything. It is clear much thought and effort went into every special touch. We did enjoy very much the hot tub, the lovely patio, the fire pit, the comfortable leather couches and even the “smallest touches” like the aromatherapy diffusers and salt lamps. All towels and linens were generously supplied (recommended by owners to bring towels for hot tub and that was brilliant). Kitchen was well-appointed with a one cup and pot combined coffee maker (my husband loves his coffee). We had family staying nearby and some of our family staying with us as “overflow” and all commented on how great the place was. There was plenty of outdoor seating with the picnic table and the patio table. My nephew and niece loved the hammock and I got in there too for a quick read and nap. The cafe lights provide just the right ambience for the yard too. My father is wheelchair-bound and we brought him and the family over for a cookout. It was easy access for him and for us with a concrete pad right out front and we could bring him right through to the house to the patio. If you have ever dealt with wheelchairs or walkers, you know how critical that is as gravel can be difficult to navigate. Lots of wildlife to be viewed from the yard (even a bear so be sure trash is secured—we did so we got to see him/her foraging in rocks for bees possibly—and the home has very secure trash containers outside). John was very communicative and responsive. We didn’t have any issues or questions that were not responded to immediately and quite frankly, there were no real issues to be addressed. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and was sad to leave our little oasis, Cabin Crunch. Melissa and Dave

Thank you to John and James for letting us stay in your beautiful cabin! It was so beautifully decorated and smelled amazing every time we walked in. The size was perfect for us and the kids could not get enough of the hot tub. The cabin is so quiet and secluded, we had a very relaxing time. We visited Jim Thorpe and spent most of our time swimming at Sand Springs Lake in the Hickory Run state park. The deer were amazing to see every morning and the fire pit was the perfect end to each evening. Thank you again, we hope to return next summer!

We had a great time at Cabin Crunch! We loved having a wooded area to relax, enjoy a fire or the hot tub. Home was orderly and comfy and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed to relax and enjoy! Thank you !

The cabin was modern and up to date. Internet service had much to be desired for the Roku TVs but still functional. The only issue I had, which is what I've had with all the rentals I've done, is the grill was filthy. I wouldn't recommend expecting previous tenants clean it because they are ruining your grill. Thankfully I learned my lesson previously and brought my own. But over all it was a great place and I'd rent their again without question.

The cabin and property are gorgeous and we can’t wait to come back and explore more! John was an awesome host!

We enjoyed staying at Cabin Crunch.

This was our first vacation without my husband and their dad. John was so sweet about helping me book. The house was amazing! It was the perfect size for us and had all the comforts of home. We loved it! We will definitely come back but next time for a winter ski trip.

This was a great, comfy house in a pretty, peaceful neighborhood. Communication with John was always friendly and helpful. We loved hanging out in the yard and the hot tub was joyous. Easy drive to Hickory State Run Park for hiking. Our dog quickly made herself at home, too. We highly recommend this house!

Would be a little tight for all adults, but would be no problem for a mix of adults and children. Could spend hours by the outdoor fire pit during warming weather or cozying up on the couch in front of the fire on a snowy day.

This was perfect for our quick (kidless) getaway! The pictures of this beautiful cabin do not do it justice. The decor and attention to detail are perfection. I would love John to come decorate my home! We had everything that we could possibly need, and more. We loved using the hot tub and fireplace to cozy up by. John is also an incredibly accommodating host, and communication was effortless. We had such a comfortable, relaxing night away, and would definitely love to do it again in the future!

This cabin was amazing! It had all the comforts of home all the while beautifully decorated! Communication with the owners was great and check in/out was easy peasy. I would definitely return and recommend to anyone! My husband and I took our 3 children and dog. It was too cold to enjoy the fire pit and hot tub but I would love to return to do so! Thank you so much for making my husband's birthday so special!

John was a great host, designing a home that was truly perfect for a girls weekend in Lake Harmony, just a quick drive down to Jim Thorpe which was our ultimate destination. What really stood out to us was the fully stocked (literally) kitchen- all of the essential pots/ pans/ utensils/ cleaning supplies we could need to cook for 6 each night. It was so fun to sit around the fireplace and chat, and go outside into the hot tub on the chilly fall nights. Check out instructions were super simple. We even got a short course in Bear preparedness *just in case* which made for some serious laughs.

We had a lovely stay at the cabin over Labor Day weekend. The house was exactly as pictured- clean and well appointed. We mostly ate in, enjoyed a fire in the back years and the hot tub. Despite the rain we took long walks around the grounds and had a lovely time.
