The location is good, though next to railway tracks and the trains start at 6am in the morning. The kitchen is well equipped. Two rest rooms in the otherwise quite small house.

The rental was serviced by a terrible agency who acted a lot in bad faith. For example, we arrived and had to clean the house first because there was so much sand in it - when we left, we cleaned everything but surely within a couple of hours we receive an email showing sand on the floor which we did not leave... very disappointing to have a bad faith rental agency. When we arrived, they also presented us with an "etat des lieux" which was missing key information and we had to add to it, otherwise they would have tried to charge us for this. After 6 days the water heater broke on a Friday night and we were with 3 little children left for 4 days without hot water and they offered such a small amount to compensate that we didn't even bother answering. In any case, under French law you cannot rent a place without hot water - it's considered "location indécente" and they wanted to offer us only 15% of the daily rental. The water heater was finally replaced but then with the staged photos of the apartment (see above) they still came back to us to say they are now not even paying us the little compensation they had initially offered. Truly shameful behaviour! stay away from this rental, it looks at getting additional money from you. There other things we could say but we don't really have the time to enumerate everything but important to know that booking.com is only the platform where the booking is advertised. Once you book, you are redirected (& in the hands of) to the rental agency.
