A very nice clean and comfortable accommodation ideal for what I required, which was somewhere that I could go out late at night or early in the morning to perform landscape photography. The weather had other ideas but the lodge was very cosy and perfect for my weekend trip. The owners run a B&B and were very friendly. One option that might be good is to offer breakfast as an alternative - the lodge has cooking facilities but sometimes its nice just to have that option.

Nothing. It was great so no problems with the accommodation or very helpful staff. The rain was constant throughout the night and, being wooden, could be heard but that is nothing to do with the lodge itself - what do you expect from a wooden accommodation :)

didn’t find the bed comfy but everyone’s different. The electric plug in oven took ages to warm up on the rings at the top, ended up putting the bacon to cook under the grill. couldn’t find a dish cloth either.

The cabin is equipped with the essentials and a few extras here and there. As this was a suprise birthday weekend for my husband, the staff had helped making it a little extra special by putting up birthday banners and balloons, and having a bottle of wine ready for him. Was very much appreciated

On our first night it was a little nippy, however we were supplied with an oil filled radiator which made all the difference.
