Wir haben unsere Tage im Haus von Suzy und Erich sehr genossen. Das gute Frühstück auf der Terrasse und Blick auf die Bucht. Wir hatten Glück und sahen immer wieder Wale in der Bucht.
Von den Gastgebern gab es wertvolle Tipps für Ausflüge, lokale Märkte und Restaurants. Erich und Suzy waren immer für uns erreichbar. Ein großartiger Aufenthalt, wir hätten es uns nicht besser wünschen können.

Erich is a perfect host, very knowledgeable about the area, kind, hospitable, attentive, made us feel most welcome.
The warmth, charm and attention to detail of this B&B is second to none.
We will definitely stay again :-)

The spirit of Aloha is alive at Ala Kai B&B. This property is hosted by warm and helpful owners; their ocean-view breakfasts from the upper deck were just right for our needs; and the location was ideal for visiting ohana in Keaau. We look forward to a return to this special, Big Island home!

Nice location with pool. Owner friendly. pool cold but refreshing
1) coffee pot in the room with no coffee
2) Room much smaller than appeared
3) Kirkland bulk bath products- smell awful. expecting a nicer island brand with the price of the rental.
4) breakfast ok. For the price there could be more local fruit or island french toast or something more creative.

Gorgeous location! Owners are super personable, friendly, and welcoming. Aloha spirit is strong here! We felt right at home.
Rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. Fresh fruit at breakfast was divine. Garden Oasis right by the sea!

This was the best place I have ever stayed! It was a wonderful location, the hosts were incredibly nice, breakfast was delicious and the room comfortable and super clean. Everything was perfect, I can’t recommend this Bed and Breakfast enough!! Thank you Erich and Suzy! Mahalo!

Proximity to ocean, friendly owners
No restaurants or places to buy food within 30 minutes. Cereal would be a nice option for breakfast.

Wonderful bed and breakfast with very friendly owners. We enjoyed the breakfast on the balcony. Our stay was excellent, and we had everything that we needed during our stay.

Nice location, quiet street except the roosters early in the morning! The cottage is good for a family or 2 couples.
The area is like a jungle and bugs are to be expected but we found dead bugs in drawers and cupboards and even some live ones in cupboards. The unit was a little run down and could use a little tlc.

Breakfast was a full continental, serve-yourself buffet with good variety. Location across the street from the ocean was very nice, and why I picked it. Swimming in the little pool every night was awesome. It's so very quiet & dark I slept wonderfully. The hosts were fun, welcoming, helpful and very accommodating. I fully enjoyed talking with them. I was visiting a friend in the same subdivision (Hawaiian Paradise Park) and this place was the perfect solution.
Cell reception wasn't good, but I know that part of the island has bad coverage. I had to leave my room to make a call.
Price was a little spendy, but I still think it was worth it, for my circumstances.

It’s close to Hilo airport.

The room was clean and bed comfortable. There was a picnic basket, small fridge and microwave . We used everything! Well thought out
The breakfast was just ok. All from Costco. The coffee was not weak but certainly not strong. We did enjoy eating on the lovely lanai with ocean view!
