Great position basic but cheap

location for where I had to be

the staff weren’t great. the room was dirty. the bathroom was dirty.

Room was large, plenty of space. Stayed in other ibis budgets and have not been as nice. Just needed it as a place to sleep as was up and checked before breakfast.

Weekend breakfast times are later them most hotels for a weekend. breakfast was served at 9am

Great central location near station, town hall and pubs. Great room with comfy bed and good shower room. Great breakfast including fresh milk for hot drinks.

There was nothing to dislike about the venue

Everything was fine. Basic but clean, exactly what you need. Such good value

Staff were very pleasant and polite, room had everything expected for budget accommodation

Check in took a very long time

Room was quite spacious and we were given an iron and board when we asked for one. Check in and out was very simple. Bed was conformable.

The room looked like it was a disabled room as the bathroom had a strange shower and handles around the toilet. Although it wasn't a problem, it just didn't look as nice.

It was grand.

plenty of parking

area was quite rundown and right next to train station. facilities in room were very poor. no hot water, shower was freezing cold. was a sign at reception saying water was going to be off from 11am following day due to repairs, specifically asked if it would effect us the night before with hot/clean water to be promised nope, all fine. well it wasn’t. complained in morning when couldn’t have shower to be told, oh yes it’s been off for a while. so the staff blatantly lied to us the night before. to be fair they gave a reduction but we wouldn’t have stayed if he’d have been upfront. be warned, free parking only lasts until 8am so you need to buy a ticket unless you are leaving before this. it’s cheap, for a reason. police were being called to an incident as we arrived, so it sounds like the sort of place to avoid if you can!

Budget by name but great value for the location (easy walking to some of Burtons best pubs & eateries) which is just what we were looking for and with car parking available at a very reasonable rate, couldn't be better

the bathroom could have been better appointed. the shower was barely adequate and should have had a bath mat as it was very slippery and the floor then became wet & slippery too.

clean and friendly staff.

Everything smelt new, which it was! The room was nice, shower was good, no problems at all. Would definately stay again. 3 minute walk to my brothers house!
