We enjoyed our 2 nights here…would recommend

My 4 children and I had a great stay! The building is older but well kept, up to date, and very clean! It was magical in the sense that it sort of felt like we were up in the trees, living in a treehouse. The location is great! Very short drive to 2 trail heads for awesome hiking, fun activities at the Adventure Park, and the community pool has a lap and a diving board so both the kids and I were set! Cave Hill Farms Brewery is about 13 min away and must see! Even though the resort area was bustling the location of this property felt tucked away and was very quiet.

We have reserved this location on numerous occasions. The home is always perfect: clean, comfortable, and inviting. Mary and Chris are great hosts, and whenever we can get away to Massanutten, we will always look to book this place; our home away from home.

PERFECT location on a quiet street in Massanutten Resort. We were able to bring our dog and enjoyed walks on the quiet street mornings and evenings w him. Our three boys had a blast at our first-ever visit to Massanutten Resort: we enjoyed the waterpark, zip line, go-karts/bumper cars, putt-putt and explored (but didn’t have a chance to use) the resort recreation centers with pools, basketball, arcades and pool tables. So much to do - we were never bored. Returning to the house for lunch and back out again was easy to access! We went to a couple of local restaurants and enjoyed two escape room adventures, too! The home was perfect for our group: the private deck off the master bedroom was great for getting away from the noise of boys playing VR video games in the main-level living-room ;-) My boys loved the bunkbeds with the trundle bed that rolled out - instead of spreading out into the two other rooms, they all piled on top of each other in the bunks (lol) - 17, 13, and 8 y/o’s - they’re already asking to go back again! We have enjoyed the large kitchen and made many meals, sitting down at the large dining room table (which we also used for playing some of the many board games provided in the home!) We stocked the fridge as soon as we arrived- full! The coffee pot, oven and stove got the most use with our group. Only “complaint”: The frying pans could use an update, but I’m spoiled with my nice cookware at home (will likely bring a good frying pan next time)

My family and I had a great time for our weekend getaway. Great location and amazing views! Very quiet neighborhood and so peaceful, especially at night. The house was very neat and clean and beautiful just like the pictures. Mary was a great host! She was very communicative before and during our stay. We enjoyed this trip at this home away from home. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here over our spring break. My boys loved it here and want to come back. They loved the video game. We played monopoly together. The space was perfect for us. We spent most days in Shenandoah National park and one day at the water park. My boys want to come back again soon. When I had questions Mary was very quick to respond back and always super helpful. This is a wonderful place.

The house is tucked away high on the mountain located next to the slopes. Very convenient and great for a peaceful getaway with the family.

Overall, everything was excellent. If I thought for an hour, I couldn’t find anything wrong will definitely book this particular place again.

Thank goodness for the electric baseboard heater to assist heat pump in keeping residence as warm as i like.

He’s location and clean, but. Little dated

Nice location! If you’re a light sleeper, the massanutten crew (snow machines and vehicles) preparing the slopes for the mornings work in the middle of the night and it’s noisy. But, the beauty is you are close to the slopes! Nice stay. Appreciated our time there.

The pictures are accurate as to what to expect. It was very clean and our family of 5 had plenty of room to enjoy our stay.

The set up worked so well for our families quick ski trip to Massanutten. Plenty of space to relax and very clean when we arrived.

My family and I made a trip to the Shenandoah valley for business and vacation, and we had a wonderful stay at Tree Top. Mary was great to communicate with, and the place is in such a beautiful spot near and overlooking the ski resort. There are so many peaceful and scenic places to walk. When you step in the door you find it well appointed and tastefully decorated so as to make you feel relaxed and at home! The upstairs is very well laid out with lots of space for making and enjoying meals, and the living room large with lots of windows to enjoy family time and chill. The downstairs is perfect with plenty of beds and two full bathrooms! (a must have with a large family). The kids thought the Atari arcade was so cool, and we loved seeing all of the friendly deer. Having such a roomy and comfy place to stay for two weeks really impacted our trip, and made my wife and kids so much happier; especially during the business part of our stay. Thanks Mary!

I can't emphasize enough how great it is to be able to spend the work week in an actual house rather than a hotel. From the second I walked in I felt at home. The condo is very clean, there is an abundance of kitchen tools, and plenty of towels. As someone who travels for work weekly, this unit was perfect.

The condo is in great shape and very comfortable.. Beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The owner/manager is easily accessible by text.

This cozy welcoming home is halfway between two sides of our family. It has become a new tradition for the seven of us to "meet halfway" for a mountain getaway and we love this house! The kitchen is well stocked and roomy enough for us to cook together as a family. There is plenty of seating for movie nights and we look forward to coffee by the fireplace watching the sunrise across the treetops. Absolutely will stay here again!

We were here for a wedding in Luray. We have family in the area but it was a 40 minute drive to get back and forth where we needed to be. Overall, I was pleased with the property. The beds are so comfortable and was the best 3 nights sleep I've had in a long time. We had family game night with the games provided. Waking up to deer right out side every morning was a treat. The firepit was a hit and we all enjoyed smores while sitting out on the deck. There were a couple issues we encountered and the host got back to us promptly and was taken care of. My only fear was driving up and down the mountains in the dark.

Great property with great view. Seen a lot of deer and wildlife right off the back deck. Would stay again.

This is our third time staying at this exact property and it is always perfect for our family! It has everything you need as well as great location for JMU football games! We look forward to staying here again in the future!

We enjoy going to this lovely mountain home for fall break, now 2 years in a row. Hoping to be back in winter to catch snowfall maybe too!

We had a great stay, the amenities were great and a nice location.

The location cannot be beat as it is a super short drive to Base Camp and the adventure park. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for our fall family getaway to the mountains. Our 2 year old felt right at home with the toys and bunk bed, and we enjoyed the fire pit on the deck after she went to bed. The primary bedroom was very comfortable!

Real nice unit. Great location. Enjoyed mountain biking trails and waterpark. Kids had great time!

Owner was worried about previous guests who caused a mess, however the place looked fantastic when we got there. We spoke with Mary and she was extremely sweet and helpful. They had just installed a new King bed the day of our arrival. The place was cleaned very thoroughly and exceded our expectations. Very good location on the resort close to many other dining and attractions. The asteroids gaming console was a huge benefit, even though I could not beat the high score. Overall would 10/10 recommend
