It is located on the hill with a marvellous view. The decoration of the room and amenities are excellent. The owners and staff are veey helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay there next time

Beautiful accommodation - staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful - helped with car rental, brought our luggage to the port. View to die for!

The hotel boasts an idyllic location, with breathtaking views of Pothia, the main city of Kalymnos. The spaciousness and tasteful decor immediately created a soothing ambiance, allowing us to unwind and relax. The owners have taken care of the tasteful decoration themselves. The room was meticulously clean, and the attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the plush bedding to the well-appointed bathroom. The owners truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was nothing short of perfect. They were always available to cater to ours needs, be that earlier check in, transportation or taking care of our luggage.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay, most beautiful room that i have ever been. Really nice decor, good bed and pillows for good sleep, good air conditioner, good mini bar, just they have thought of everything. l had seaside room, most beautiful sea ​​view all over Pothia. So i enjoyed every minute staying Spongia Apartment. Staff and owners, couldn’t be more helpful. When i checked out, they drive me back to city because i had my suitcase. Thank you so much for everything.

Staying at Spongia was heavenly! You definitely get the best view of the port at Kalymnos in the whole city. The owner and staff are absolutely amazing. They treated us almost like family and helped us out on many occasions. I always look forward to returning back to Spongia and chilling by the balcony of our room - it's the best place to be in the whole port! I can't wait to be back.

first things first the view 😻 I guess best view from all the hotels on the island. The design of the rooms very nice, all made till the details. The staff and the owner are very kind people. When we come back to Kalymnos definitely we will stay in the same place

The place was very close to the center city of Kalymnos(about 10 min walking ) . The view of the room was incredible. The lady there was very friendly kind and helpful. The room clean amd exactly like the photos. I would stay again for sure !!!

The location. If you are arriving by ferry look to the left and its the highest cream coloured building. Just follow your instincts up through the many charming narrow streets. The rooms are beautiful, the breakfasts very good and our host, Petrula, was so charming and lovely. She made the stay perfect. Thank you!

Incredible stay at the Spongia Hotel! Sevastos and his team are great people, eager to help and to guide you in your trip. We were supposed to stay only a night, but we extended the holidays. :) And what a view!! Would 100% recommend, and will come back. Thank again Sevastos!

A wonderful place to stay with incredible views over the town and sea below off our large balcony. Sevastos is an amazing host - lots of recommendations for your time on the island, very friendly and helpful (offered an umbrella for the beach). Large room with comfy bed, nice shower room, fridge, kettle & toaster, and very fast Wi-Fi. Good breakfast of breads, savoury pastries, meat & cheese too.

Not a problem for us as we don’t mind walking but beware if you don’t hire a bike/car - the views mean you’ll have a 10 minute uphill walk from the port. It’s so worth it when you get there.

The Spongia Apartments are very well located. The view across the port of Kalymnos is breathtaking. Room is very light and well equipped. Bed is comfy. Sevastos & Litsa are super friendly and doing their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They are always there for a nice chat and conversation and supporting you with renting a car etc. Small breakfast is delicious and adequate. Some fruits on top would be great though.

There were no possibility to make your own lunch or dinner because there were no kitchen only a fridge and some plates. The description of the apartment was incorrect.

Staff and owner were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Views of the town and port area were superb. We were collected by the owner from the Port on our arrival and driven around the town prior to driving us up to the accommodation. Breakfast was very comprehensive and very good.

Very modern but a bit too minimalist for us. The location was further out of town than we imagined and uphill all the way, a struggle in the heat.
