This home is located on a canal with a nature preserve on the other side. The wildlife viewing is outstanding. Having kayaks and a canoe available add great value. The house and kitchen are very well stocked. The welcome book has extremely useful information - we used the bird and fish identification cards daily. Location is a close drive to restaurants, nature preserves and of course the beach. Parking was easy at Englewood beach and we walked to Stump Pass from there. Overall this is a fantastic choice. This property is well maintained with lots of charm and attention to detail. Great location with plenty of activities to do. I would highly recommend this property. Our age group was 66 plus and we really enjoyed it. It would be a great gathering place for younger families as well.

Spacious and laid out well. Backyard is gorgeous and very relaxing. Garage is very well stocked with recreational stuff. Location was close to everything we needed.

Our family loved staying in this home for a week. We had everything we needed for a perfect beach vacation. The home was very clean and spacious. We put the family with the toddler in the in-law suite so they could have their quiet time when they needed it. We had 2 additional bathrooms and bedrooms for everyone else to use and then the large double family room was great for card and board games that the home had available. The pool was amazing to jump in both the morning and evening or using the chairs to sit around and sun bathe on.The teenagers loved using the kayaks to explore the canal. We also spent time each day visiting one of the many beaches in the area and we put the beach chairs, umbrellas and towels to good use while we were there….so happy it was convenient for us to just pack up the car and go. If you need a relaxing vacation with the family, I highly recommend this home.

Great stay!

We had a great time in Englewood! This spacious home was perfect for our family of eight, with all the amenities we could need. My husband and I stayed in the separate efficiency apartment with a small kitchen (normal size refrigerator, great for extra room) and dining table, and sitting area with a lovely canal view. Super private! It has it's own entrance on the side of the house and entrance off of the screened porch that connects the main house to the screened pool. The main house has two dining areas, two living areas (one with a sofa bed), and a well stocked kitchen. Two bedrooms on either side of the hall bath, one with two twin beds and one with a king bed. There is a full bath in the hall and a full bath in the garage (great for when everyone comes back from boating or the pool). Our kids and grandchild especially loved the pool. They also enjoyed the kayaks and canoe. We were able to dock our deck boat in the back yard on the canal. It's only a 5-10 minute cruise to Lemon Bay. We took the boat to several beaches along Little Gasparilla where you can drop anchor and enjoy shelling or swimming. Fishing was fabulous in Bulls Bay! Great restaurants (some by boat!) and shopping in the area, everything we needed was close by. Communication with our hosts, John and Karen, was easy and incredibly helpful. Any requests or concerns we had were taken care of swiftly and completely. We hope to visit again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The property was immaculate! The amenities were suburb! The property is located right on a canal and it is so quiet and peaceful! Everything we needed was supplied...from TV and wifi to beach chairs and umbrellas all the way down to a generous supply of spices and oil. The Owner has thought of everything! The Owner was very responsive and very helpful! If you're thinking of booking, don't hesitate, you'll love it. We will definitely be back!!
