Excellent quiet location, beautifully clean and Comfortable. Easy walk to the beach
5 people only used one of the two bathrooms as only the en suite had a shower - totally pointless having 2 bathrooms of there is no over the bath shower - there really should Be tiles up the walls and a shower curtain. Not a lot of effort and would make staying there in a family/group much much easier instead of having to wait for everyone to get in and out of shower every morning. Seems a total waste of bathroom and made it tedious in the mornings.

The location was excellent. Very well equipped kitchen. The cottage was extremely clean upon arrival. All in all a very good experience.

the property was clean comfortable and very well equipped. the location was excellent. everything that we needed was in the cottage.
we have never known a self catering property that has as much equipment as this one. even a high chair travel cot and stair gate.
a welcome pack was provided as well.
it was like a home from home. beds very comfortable and everything was really clean
there was nothing about the property that we didn’t like

Very cute house ideal for a few days away, quiet location.
Don't bother looking for the allocated parking! Park on the road that's fine.

Clean, spacious, all facilities available.
Did not receive any information regarding the keys, so when we arrived at the property we rang the host's phone number several times leaving voice messages and texts. He rang back after over an hour to say he had emailed the information, which he had not. We were left sitting in the car outside the house for an hour in the pouring rain!!
He should have been available to contact, knowing someone was arriving at his property.
He had to tell us where to park as it was not clearly signed, then later the neighbour knocked on the door telling us we were parked in his space, so we had to move. A sign indicating the proper parking space would have been helpful!
The actual space is in a carport under the house next door but one.

Loved the location, short walk to the beach and a short drive to Rye. The cottage was cozy and comfortable and had great facilities.

Being very close to the beach & Rye.
The cottage was lovely & had pretty much everything you would need really. There were just a couple of things that would need looking at:
No spare bulb for the bedside lamp in the twin bedroom. We couldn’t get the plug out of the bath so ended up using some tongs from the kitchen. Problems with closing a window or two. We couldn’t find the parking space/s at the back of the property so just parked out the front. Luckily, we always managed to get a space & the road was quiet. Could probably do with getting a new bbq as this one was old & pretty rusty! All just small little things, other than that it was great. Thank you.

We had a wonderful stay at Kittiwake cottage. Enough space for all the family and everything was so clean. All the facilities we would need were provided and thanks for the cake and cookies! Secure garden and baby gate for the dog. Lovely 5 mins walk to the sandy beach (over the sand dunes so will need to drive to beach for access for elderly). 3 toilets and 2 x bathrooms. Very comfortable base for us and we will certainly be coming back again. Beds were extremely comfortable. This really did feel like a home from home!

Lovely decor, all mod cons, quiet neighbourhood. spotlessly clean. Netflix.
Double bed very hard mattress. Two parking spaces nowhere to be found so just parked on main road at the front.

The house was immaculate, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed,the menus and games there were great and we used both....a lovely touch,even a beautiful cake and biscuits left for when we arrived. We took our dog and he loved enclosed garden and of course the beautiful beach which is yards away!!
Honestly cannot fault anything,everything was exceptional.

Location was great, few minutes from the sea. The house was very homely. Well equipped.
A blind behind the curtains in the main bedroom to make the room darker at night would have been great for us. Only that we like a dark bedroom, I appreciate it may not be an issue for others.

Location, facilities, everything you needed was available
Parking on arrival not clear where to park, a sign above the parking bay would help asp the house opposite park a van outside their house which makes it tight to get into the spot.
Wheels on the dishwasher tray seem to be missing making it difficult to move the tray in and out

Some maintenance issues which the owner has taken on board and is dealing with. Not his fault - down to management company.

Proximity to beach. Bathroom & en suite. Modern house with all the mod cons you needed.
A bit of maintenance required. Dishwasher come off runners. Couldn’t use freezer as needs defrosting. Outside, front garden weeds are over a foot high! Neighbour seems to have commandeered parking spaces as gate to spaces blocked from their side & think they were parking their cars in it? We were able to park on the road at front of property but non residents would also park there & walk to beach.
