Our family had a wonderful week at Sunset Point! We saw some of the most beautiful sunsets and had a great time swimming, fishing, and spending time together. Greg was wonderful to work with and quickly responded to all texts. The house was nicely stocked with everything you would need for the week. It was also great to be able to do laundry while we were there. The air conditioning in the main living area was fantastic and a much needed break from the heat and humidity. We are looking forward to our visit again next year.

This property is the perfect summer vacation spot for all ages. We loved having 2 separate docks for the boat and also having protection from the weather depending on wind direction. The point offered a great place to sit and watch the sunset while enjoying a fire. We appreciated the spacious kitchen with lots of room for the 8 adults in our party. The bedrooms were all a great size with comfortable beds. We enjoyed seeing lots of ducks along the shoreline and finally figured out how to catch fish that aren't walleye! This lake is incredible and offers something for everyone! We will definitely be back!

We had a great time! The property has two docks and an amazing peninsula with a fire pit - the photos in the listing don’t do it justice. Amazing location! Also, Greg was fantastic. Extremely professional and friendly - always quick to respond and acted immediately to resolve an AC issue. Thanks Greg! The property also has an amazing amount of towels! Bath and beach towels - which is super helpful. And the throw blankets are super soft! All around a great experience and we’d absolutely rent it again!!

Had a great stay at Sunset point. Easy access to the water. Lots of space in the house with a nice patio overlooking Lake Vermillion. Neighborhood was super quiet. Lots of kitchen space w a big island was nice to have. Horseshoe driveway made it easy with 2 larger fishing boats.

Enjoyed the house. Spent time cooking, watching movies and playing games as a family. Exactly what we were hoping to do.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sunset Point. The property backs up the name in a big way, the sunset views were amazing! We enjoyed the firepit on the point and the space in the back yard for our kiddos to play. The windows facing the lake were a great place to look out and have a morning cup of coffee. There were also 2 eagles using a tree on the point on a daily basis. Greg was also very responsive and friendly start to finish. We would rent again for sure!

This is a gorgeous property with an amazing indoor and outdoor set up. You have beautiful views of the lake, plenty of lake access with two docks, and a fabulous bonfire set up out on the peninsula. The house has everything you need and a family friendly kitchen and dining area to gather around. We also enjoyed grilling and eating outside on the patio. Greg is great to work with and answers questions promptly. We would highly recommend this property.

Amazing property on the Tower side of Lake Vermillion. My husband's family has a cabin on the lake and as the family has grown in size we now need a larger spot to gather. Sunset Point was perfect. We rented a pontoon and enjoyed visiting grandma and grandpa. The house is well-appointed, clean and comfortable - lot's of space for two families. The outside lawn area, two docks and point are the showstoppers! We enjoyed lawn games, swimming (it was quite windy during our stay, but we braved the waves), fishing and a bonfire under the lights. Linens and towels were clean and high quality. The extra fridge in the garage was very helpful. As a vacation rental owner myself, I think you will find everything you need for a restful stay on Lake Vermillion. We plan to return again!

Everything about renting this property was wonderful from start to finish! Communication was exceptional, check-in was a breeze, and the place was absolutely amazing. The home was well stocked with essentials for our stay and even things you might have forgotten like toothpaste. There were two docks with plugins to charge our boats conveniently located down by the water, and there are many boat launches near by for easy drop in of boats! The lot is private, with great views of the lake and the fire pit area is amazing, a perfect way to end your day! We can’t say enough great things about this rental or the owners! Grateful they shared their little piece of heaven with us for a week, we highly recommend!

Beautiful yard with firepit and water access. Yard is large enough to set up badminton, corn hole, and other game sets. Great lake for fishing. Perfect place to sit out and enjoy the peace and quiet. It is close enough to walk to the trails.

We gave Sunset Point a rating of 5 for many reasons. First, the home is beautiful and well equipped. We enjoyed the open lay out of the kitchen, dining room and living room for ultimate family involvement. The entire front of the home has windows facing the lake which offered a wonderful view. There is a spectacular outdoor area by the lake with lights that circle overhead, a fire pit and plenty of seating including a free standing swing. Many of us embraced the new snow with cross country skiing right outside the home onto the lake. A few ventured to Giant's Ridge for downhill, however, it is around a 40 minute drive to Giant's Ridge. Most of the group were content to stay at the property for the entire few days. The kitchen is amazing with the center island and new appliances. We cooked many meals together and everyone was able to gather in the kitchen area with plenty of room to prep, cook and mingle. The clean up is easy with the extra large sink as we ended up having two of us do dishes at the same time! There is a dishwasher too. There is a single serve coffee maker and having read this prior to our stay we opted to bring our own coffee maker for making multiple cups. The home is cozy and warm. On our visit the gas fireplace did not work, however, this was not a big deal as the home was so cozy and warm without it. The downstairs has in floor heat that the owner controls remotely. It got almost too toasty! A humidifier would be a good addition as the downstairs air was very dry. There is a second family room with couches and a television in the lower level that we did not even need to utilize as everyone enjoyed the large living space on the main floor. The home has many games available. We also brought along favorite family games to play. Again, the lay out of the home is wonderful to allow everyone to feel included in all that is going on. We were fortunate to be able to extend our stay by an additional night due to the snow storm that hit during our rental time. The owner was gracious to offer a reduced rate for the additional night and we gladly extended our stay!

Sunset Point was the perfect property for our fall family get away. It was also great to have a dock so we could bring our own boat for fishing.

The house was comfortable and had everything we need. The driveway made it very easy to pull the boat in and accomodate everyones car. The view was incredible!! The owner was accessable and helpful.

Great hosts and beautiful accommodations. Only negative was the kitchen refrigerator was on the fritz and we had to store our perishable out in the garage or in coolers - owner was aware but did not offer any discount for the inconvenience. We didn't ask for a discount but thought it would be appropriate for the owner to offer. Lake was gorgeous but the fish weren't cooperating. We tried our best but didn't connect - evidently pontoons don't fit the bill on this lake. Hoping to come back and try again.

This property was everything that we expected and more. From the reservation process to checkout, the owners were friendly, easy to work with and provided all the information we needed timely. The house was spotless, contained all the things we needed for the week and the view and sunsets were beautiful! The firepit area was our favorite place to gather at night and relax after a day on the lake. Our time on Lake Vermilion was memorable and we would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful place to stay without any tourist hassles. This property is magical: Two docks, a small beach with shallow water perfect for wading, and the fairy-like fire pit area with seating on the point. The house was large and spacious, and had everything we needed. Greg was a wonderful host.
